Best Places To Stay in Singapore 2025 4K

[Music] [Music] what’s going on everybody this is Island Hopper
TV and today we’re coming to you from Singapore with the best places for you to stay let’s go
first up here we are in Bugis the area known for Bugis Junction also many different shopping
malls Bugis Street which is very famous it’s also an area that’s known for uh having an Islamic
influence especially with Kampng Glam being right next door which we will be showing you a little
later on also a very famous Colonial area known as Chijmes uh it’s got a J in the middle so take
note of that when you’re trying to pronounce it along the Chjimes Junction and Chjimes Street area
you will find lots of shopping you can see the you’re going to find expensive shopping unless
you go into those luxury malls they have high-end five-star Resorts around here but they also
have some affordable accommodation you can find starting around $100 now here we are at
the CBD this is the central business district I stayed at the Westin Hotel here they also
have food courts around here like the Maxwell Hawker station they have la palat which is
probably the best Hawker in all of Singapore CBD is right next to the Marina Bay area many
of you know Marina Bay Sands but Marina Bay is a lot more than just Marina Bay Sands Hotel uh
this is probably the most famous area that you know of but it basically wraps around the marina
here which is essentially a man-made reservoir from the river that meets the ocean right there
to the South so here you’re going to find a lot of different luxury hotels you have the ferton
then there’s the Fullerton Bay hotel which is nearby as well both beautiful hotels you have the
hotel travertin and then you have the Park Royal collection here at Marina Bay the Ascot so a lot
of hotels right here in the area around Marina Bay obviously Marina Bay Sands being the most famous
of them all but it is quite expensive around 5 to 6600 a night on the low end now this is probably
the second most famous area in all of Singapore this year is Orchard Road Orchard Road is a long
beautiful Road of modern malls they also have many different luxury hotels here here you’ll find
the Grand Hyatt the Marriott you’ll also find the Hilton along with several other worldclass hotels
right here along the Orchard Road area but really people come here for the shopping experience and
The Vibes it’s kind of like the Time Square of Singapore if you want to call it that there’s a
great variety of MRT stations around here also they have plenty of buses they can get you right
down into the CBD within 10 to 15 minutes so as you know many of these areas are connected
by buses or trains Singapore probably has the most efficient MRT system in the world also
lots of overpasses and underpasses most of it’s like an underground city down here everything
is air conditioned and the malls are connected by the way guys we do have a channel called
Island Hopper TV Hotels where we show you the best hotels from the destinations we go to I’ve
reviewed about 17 different hotels in Singapore so go check out that channel over there you’ll
find reviews from Singapore for the Conrad the JW Marriott the Hilton and the Grand Hyatt just
to name a few now here we are at the Little India area here they have the Hampton Inn they also have
the Holiday Inn which is where I stayed at either one of those two great locations they also have a
Marriott tapestry collection Hotel here and then some really good affordable ones around Little
India but this is a nice place to go walking around at night you’re going to get a little bit
more of a India cultural experience than you would get in the rest of Singapore it’s not quite as
modern but it is much more affordable so if you need something very cheap like a new suitcase
or some new shoes or some new eyeg glasses and you don’t want to pay a lot you come down here
to Little India and you’ll find those deals I also come down here for the temples the food and
a haircut next up we’re here at Kampong Glam this is a great area to stay if you’re looking for
some night life a little bit different vibe this is where the Islamic mosque and culture is
mostly to be found around the Singapore area uh very cultural colorful lots of restaurants for
turkey and other Middle Eastern destinations so if you’re looking for that kind of food you’ll find
that here and they have Arab Street Haji lane two very cool places to go walk around enjoy
a coffee or a beer and soak up all the Vibes really it’s very picturesque down here also it’s
within walking distance from Bugis so you can easily stay in one of the two areas and get around from
there plenty of MRT stations near nearby as well and I stay at the onas hotel right there and they
and they have an amazing rooftop right there at Mr Storks so you can see right here going up there
for some cocktails or mocktails whatever your thing is right there at sunset time you get nice
views looking out towards the CBD and Marina Bay next up here we are at the riverfront the river
runs from basically the Marina Bay Area all the way past Boat Quay and then Clark Quay Robinson
Quay and you can walk this whole area you’ll find many different hotels starting with the
Intercontinental at Robinson’s Quay along with the Holiday Inn and a few others then you’ll find some
capsule hotels in Boat Quay and Boat Quay capsule hotels are really affordable in a nice area so
that might be something for you budget travelers to look up when you’re in Boat Quay and then they
have a lot of boutique hotels around Clark Quay and both those areas clark Quay and Boat Quay are known
for its nightlife especially on the weekends this here is just a look at one of those river
boats that will take you out into Marina Bay and back takes about 30 minutes to an hour and it’s
a good way to get an idea of what to expect along the river and as we continue to show you around
Singapore and the best places if you look in the comments below you’ll see a link to our best
things to do in Singapore we went to 50 different places to show you but also there’s time stamps
there so you can bounce around from location to location to get an idea of what to expect when
you’re coming here to Singapore for your holiday but as you walk around the riverfront you will see
there is a lot of history like this here Cavanaugh Bridge so they’ve preserved some of that old
history and you can see the signs there now here we are at Raffles this is basically in between
bis and the CBD and Raffles is a very popular area I would say this is the heart of Singapore
city area so if you can get a MRT over to Raffles you’ll really find yourself right in the and they
do have plenty of different Hotel varieties for you to select from uh in this area of Singapore
and by the way when you’re getting around I do recommend getting one of those MRT cards you can
get them at the airport or you can get them in some of the MRT stations by going up to one of
the booths and I would say just put 30 Singapore dollars on there to start and then see how long
it last uh typically 30 Singapore dollars will last you a few days of consistent riding anyways
try and get you a hotel with a rooftop pool that can be fun as you can see here now we’re going
out to Sentosa Island this is a really popular place because of the beaches they’ve got Palawan
beach and several other beaches we’ve also got a lot of entertainment this is where Universal
Studios is they’ve got several malls and this is really where you’re going to go in Singapore
to get more of that laidback Beach Vibe Resorts uh they’ve got the W out here and several others
so if you’re looking for that kind of situation go out to sentos Island it’s outside the city uh
maybe about 15 to 20 minutes by grab or MRT from the CBD area so Sentosa Island definitely a place
to consider uh while in Singapore they do have a large cable car that can take you from the main
island out here to Sentosa they also have plenty of bungee jumping skydiving AJ hackets out here
uh lots of entertainment with bars and restaurants on the beach as well uh this is a popular place to
go on the weekends uh for the locals as well so be sure to plan accordingly maybe you want to go here
uh on a weekday instead of a weekend just because of the crowds and then the prices go way up and
sometimes these beach clubs they fill up quickly but if this is something that you’re into uh beach
clubs that ABA vibe that Santorini that Bali kind of vibe that’s what you’re going to find out here
also there is a monre rail that connects from the main island out to here so you’ve got many options
as far as getting around people usually just walk or they ride one of these uh double wheeled
scooters uh these standup scooters that you can see here that’s another way to get around
now here we are at Kallang so the main road out here is Joo chiat the reason I like staying out
here in Kallang at maybe the Holiday Inn express or the Hotel Indigo or one of these other hotels
like the merer at Roxy Square they just recently finished the MRT line so they’re opening it up and
going all the way out to Marine parade but it’s a nice place to go not as expensive you can find a
lot of budget hotels over here like an Ibis right there along ju chit I would say if you’re trying
to save some money you might just want to stay out here in Kallang and that would be my recommendation
I would say the restaurants out here are better than most parts of the city because of the prices
and the options this is more of that down to Earth Singapore vibe that I really like so I always try
and stay out here at least a couple days when I come to Singapore now here we are in Chinatown now
Chinatown is considered one of the more culture areas um if you’re looking to be in an area where
it’s around Chinatown this is going to be perfect for you it’s a little bit more expensive here
it’s next to the Buddha tooth Relic Temple also they’ve got some Hawkers Michelin restaurants can
be found out here so that’s a benefit of being in Chinatown next up here we are in in Novena now
Novena is known as the medical city of Singapore so they have some nice hotels over here like the
Courtyard Marriott with a really nice rooftop pool and bar also they have the Holiday Inn nearby
and then they have an Aloft hotel as well several other hotels you may consider staying at but
this is more of that uh Medical City kind of vibe I guess you could say because that’s who’s
really out here but it’s a decent area uh it’s just outside of Orchard really and outside of
Little India so it’s north of Little India and a little bit Northeast of Orchard they do have
some food hawker stalls it’s a lot more laidback so you’re going to get a Cosmopolitan feel out
here without the crowds and I would say this is more of a livable area for a longterm stay uh
especially outside of the center of Novena don’t stay near the mall but stay Just Around The Aloft
Hotel area I would say that’s best another area that you might want to stay is Holland Village
this is just outside of Wueentown and the reason you’d want to stay out here in Holland
Village is because this is where the tech Hub is they’ve got a lot of uh technology companies
being built and growing out here and it’s more of a long-term stay area it’s quite a far away
outside of the Heart of the City I would say maybe a 30 minute drive and even so anyways this
is Singapore if you guys have any questions let us know in the comments also watch our best things
