Belgrad Ormanı Piknik Alanı, Giriş Ücretleri, Mangal | Hafta Sonu Bahar Tatili

Hello everyone. I hope you’re all well. Hello. We’re in Belgrade. In Belgrade. We haven’t been here in a while. How many years have passed since we last came here? I don’t remember that. I only remember coming when I was a kid. Is that okay? We went here. In the following weeks, we went to Poloneskö, in the early days of our relationship. Well, today is Sunday. We recommend arriving early. It’s crowded. Even though it’s 10:30, it’s starting to grow. Vehicles are allowed with HGS (Hydroelectric Traffic Control System), by the way . The 165 L highway is one-way, so we couldn’t stop. Let’s explore Belgrade Forest together. Look at the menu prices. Take a look at the hiking trail. We want to take you to Limandere kavurma (fried meat restaurant) in Belgrade . It’s a Black Sea restaurant. We’ll be closing at this restaurant. You could create a spring routine for a weekend . Let’s continue. Come on. It’s Sunday. Yes. Did you say that? I did. Thank you. We came this way now. Well, there’s a place to park your car right there on the right. It’s a dirt lot. We parked there. We didn’t park on the road because the sun was shining. After following the road, you’ll reach the hiking trail. If you’d like, you can drive all the way to this kiosk, where you’ll start the hiking trail. Look, folks, you reach the hiking trail from in front of that kiosk. On the right, there are picnic areas. It’s quite a large area. There are other parks here as well. It’s 12 kilometers away, but the hiking and running trails are right here. There’s security here. Security personnel are always present. There’s no fire here, just so you know. They only serve breakfast. There are kiosks like this here. Unleashed dogs are prohibited. Because it’s a crowded place. Just in case. In fact, let me show you the menu prices. Here’s the Belgrade Forest. Yes. There’s seating there too. I’ll check, brother. These are the prices. Just for the price of a sandwich. Honey, do you want anything by the way? A toasted cheese toast to satisfy your hunger. This kiosk has seating right here . There wasn’t one before; they added it later. You can sit in a large area like this. Look, all the way ahead are picnic areas. There’s a mini market. Here are the market prices. Look, they also sell barbecues and coal. A barbecue costs 350-700. Coal is 250. So, if you come here without bringing anything, you won’t have any problems. Let me take a closer look at the prices for you. Turkish coffee is a bit expensive. 200 lira. Turkish coffee? Yes. Turkish coffee is normally 100 lira everywhere, but here it says 150-200. A double is 200 lira. A single is 150 lira. It’s a bit too much. Look, there are plenty of beautiful views out back, too. They’ve built wooden seats and benches. There are paths here and there. You can see cisterns in some unused places. Of course, there’s no water left. There used to be water around here, along these edges. There’s a place here selling fruit . Fruit juice. Let me zoom in on the prices, my friends. I don’t know if you can see it , but prices range from 200-250. Yes. It starts from 190. Prices range from 250 to 250. There are sauces and jams here. Yes, you came and forgot the tomatoes and peppers. You bought the barbecue right here. Let’s do the barbecue somewhere else, not Belgrade. Let me take you to the village of Ormanlı in Çatalca. I’ll give you a good introduction to that place. It’s a wonderful place. Yes. There are chairs and tables here too. There are plenty of restrooms everywhere. You won’t have any problems with that. Some places charge a fee, but are there any free ones ? We’ll find out in a minute. The hiking trail starts ahead. Look, there’s a digital sign there. Well, these signs are spaced at regular intervals. There are signs showing how many kilometers you’ve walked. This is the starting point. It shows the time. It’s 11:00. Everything is neat, tidy, and spotlessly clean. No trash, right ? That’s a nice environment. It feels nice when it’s not too crowded. What’s our plan now? What should we do? I don’t know. Let’s look around. What should we do? How many kilometers is that? 6 km. Oh, 6 km. How am I supposed to walk? Yes. Be sure to read these before you start hiking. There are a few lakes here. That’s what we’ll encounter. The hiking trails get harder in some places. They get easier in others. These are the steeper, flatter, slightly steeper areas. Right now, We’re here. Have a good time. Thank you. Look, you’re going to exercise right away. They’ve built platforms like this. Yes, let’s continue our walk from here. It’s quite beautiful. I’ll take off my glasses right away. Let me see the surroundings, the greenery, better. As long as we’re in Istanbul, we want to throw ourselves into the forest, among the greenery, every 10 days, every two weeks . Our bodies crave it like water, like food . We love it; we’re used to it. There are nice areas to exercise. I was curious. Look, there’s a roe deer here. I was wondering how many antlers branch out as they age . It’s very beautiful. Look, a photo was taken here. It was taken with a photocopy. There’s a very sweet note there, too. You saw it. I hope we see it. Yes, our starting point. This is our exit point. Hello, beautiful, from here. Look at the view. Yes. There’s a fountain right here. They’ve placed it between the two entrances and exits of the road . Let’s taste it. It’s not cold water. Yes. It’s clean. It’s clean and cold water. Yes, friends. Let’s start from the beginning. They’ve placed different animal species at regular intervals so you can read and enjoy your walk. There are bat species here. Pipistrellus. Pipistrellus. Pygmy bat. Eyelash bat. Motis. Emerginatus. Ömer. It sucks your blood. Let me tell you. But I’ll just say one thing. Doesn’t it look like our Freud? Very similar. The same Freud. Look, bats are actually very important animals. This is insect control, etc. Seed dispersal. Look, the mosquito population. We started our walk. Immediately, a piece of trash was found. Look, friends, look, the man buried these here. Look, look at this. He buried them here like this. After you finish this walk, be sure to clean the soles of your shoes. Because this soil structure makes them red. It leaves marks on the soles wherever you go. We can encounter narrow paths like this. Of course, where do these paths lead? I have no idea. These are probably paths created by people who want to use tents for camping . The road ends here. This place here and there was used as a rest area. That’s obvious. Well, even though we arrived in September, I was a little upset not to see any water here. There would have been water before. By the way, I wanted to share some information. I said a few weeks ago that I’d be shooting outside of Istanbul as a surprise, but I couldn’t go and shoot because of the weather. So, we went there, actually, to Karasu. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy. I wanted to promote the beaches there, but by the way, there’s been no water in Karasu for a month. They don’t provide any. People are miserable. As you know, Karasu is a busy area in the summer, and it’s been empty for tourism. People have fled because there’s no water. There’s still no water. So, it’s been maybe a month and a half. The fabric of the t-shirt I’m wearing is a bit thick. I changed it in the forest air. It felt good. We walked 500 meters. You’ll see these signs every 500 meters. They say it’s a type of itki. What’s there, for example? Eastern beech. It can reach up to 40 meters. Another great note. If anyone knows what this is, please leave a comment. It’s in many places. It’s everywhere. Let’s get into some of this. Let’s not walk straight ahead. What kind of campsite could such a plot of land be? It’s lush and green. There are many shades of green. I call it Istanbul’s green heart, referring to the Dalgrad Forest. It’s Istanbul’s largest forest. You could also think of it as an escape. Because, as you know, Istanbul is a city where everything is concrete and you can barely see the sky . You can break the gloom a bit with the Belgrade Forest. Suleiman the Magnificent came from his Serbian campaign in the early 1520s. When he returned, he brought some Serbian villagers with him. I couldn’t find any source on why he brought the Serbian villagers. And he established this area with those villagers, or he settled them here. That’s where the name actually comes from. The reason the Serbs were brought here during the Byzantine period was probably because, well, since the Byzantine period, the Belgrade Forest has been one of the important water sources of the Marmara region in this area . So, aqueducts and cisterns, well, you can often see these things here. So, since the Ottoman period, actually. It’s somewhat preserved, but later it began to be preserved a little carelessly. It started being used as a recreational and picnic area in 1956. So, it has a very old history. Even its use as a picnic area. I’m curious about your comments. What made you feel most comfortable about this place? What made you feel good? What did you like? Yes, we walked 1 kilometer. We’re at 1000 meters. There are bird species here. Well, I’ve seen this before. In the Belgrade Forest, there are foxes, boars, deer—mammals like that. I’ve never encountered these animals before . I’ve encountered bird species and some insects, but nothing larger. You’ll die. Even smoking is prohibited during the walk. This is a very good decision. I won’t see it. I’ll take my camera and complain. You’ll get fined. After a while, this dam that drops down to the lake is actually a dam. What is a dam? They’re built on rivers like this . They build small dams at regular intervals to carry the water further . As the water flows, it moves further . So, this way, they gradually carry the water even further. Let me go down like this. Normally, the sign says it’s forbidden to go down here, but they took it down. I want to show you. These are actually one of Istanbul’s water sources , but take a closer look at what they’ve become. Look, they’ve collected some of the water here, too, using this platform. The lake has rises and falls everywhere. You’ll understand the route when you arrive. We’ve finished the 1.5 kilometers. They’ve also posted this information next to each sign . Because it’s glass, it reflects a little. There’s a frog over there. From somewhere up ahead, you can practically hear this kind of music and entertainment. The sound reverberates all the way into the forest. Yes. You’ll see a lot of these sold at some vendors around New Year’s . Actually, collecting them is prohibited. Just so you know. As we continue walking, we come across another sign like this. We started from here. We’ve walked about two kilometers now. We’re in this section. Here is the River Nature Park. Again, this wasn’t there before. They added it later. Little kiosks and cafes. Of course, these are newly built. They haven’t opened yet. Everything looks new. There’s also something like this downstairs. But personally, I find them completely unnecessary. I mean, this is already a recreational area, a park. Do we need so many businesses? People already get their tea and water at the entrance. They’ll walk 6 km. They won’t starve either. Nobody’s here. So, I think it ruins the whole texture of this place. Even though they’re made of wood and don’t spoil the view, there’s no need for noise and visual pollution in such a forest. I agree, but you know us, if we see an empty space, we should turn it into a business. What’s the need? What’s he going to do? I’m craving tea. Isn’t there a cafe here, you know? Look, it’s a massive structure. This is breakfast for two. 1,300 hot breakfast plates. Yes, you can scan the QR code here, folks. When did Ritual open? It doesn’t seem like it existed before. I’ve seen a few Heni’s open. Thank you. Good luck. This place is full of it. It already smells of varnish or something. It smells of polish. I looked at the menu prices. Canş.com breakfast for two is .300 L. There’s 8 or 10 items included in the breakfast. Yes, this is the road we came from. It’ll be immediately on your right. There are shaded areas. People got their tea and soup. They’ve built a children’s playground here. I checked to see if there was running water. Yes, there isn’t. I didn’t see the dirt road there. It opens into the park. They’ve built these little wooden bungalows next to the park. I don’t know what they’re used for . Let’s take a look at them. Come on. Yes. These are children’s observatories, folks. You can put your children and babies there to keep them safe . Yes. We’re going to continue the walking path, have you noticed? I’ll tell you something. It’s sparse until we get to the businesses and the playground. And right before we get here, the garbage rate started to increase. What’s the root of it? There’s no forest left. The forest is one of those historic cisterns. They were more vulnerable before. It was quite easy to climb around and onto the cistern . I’d like to show you. It’s a bit like a deep pool. Well, there are certain steps, the levels I want, and so on. It’s completely protected now . Look at the beauty of this forest, my friends. It’s wonderful. It’s wonderful. We’re storing energy. I see you’ve finished half the path before me. It’s not quite half, though. It’ll be half in 500 meters. You say it very well, but, honey, they didn’t leave any forest behind. It’s a dam with forty fountains of water. This big dam here dates back to the Ottoman period. They probably had the Serbians build these , gathering them all here. If you remember, we looked at this dam from the other end of the lake . Now we’re right behind it. We’re drawing a circle. That dam that used to be this big dam. These places were protected before. There were open areas like this. We could go down. We could walk along this dam. They’ve closed everything off. You can actually go from there. Yes, there are those wire fences. But of course, I won’t go, my friends. I mean, I don’t want to go down there. Keep walking along the lakeside . Look, there’s a sign there. This is a dangerous area. It says it’s far away . There are wild animals. I think that area is a bit more pristine. Yes. I just got off right across the street. I took a picture from there for you. Yes. We circle around and continue our walk. By the way, there’s still no water in Karasu, right? No, my mother wasn’t there. Not a single water source. How long has it been? A month and a half? It’s been, right? Maybe more. And are they bragging about putting electric vehicle stations in Karasu for themselves? Who really cares about the public? They’re just worried about water. So, after we’ve finished the 3 kilometers, we come across information about red squirrels . Don’t collect your laughter. Don’t take this cute thing’s food away. We don’t see any red deer, squirrels, or pigs. We only saw one living creature. And that’s a rabbit here. Look, the rabbit used to have water flowing freely. Look, now it’s like a tiny little stream, like a thin thread. There’s no water. There’s no water anywhere. A major water shortage is brewing in our country. The roads can get a little dusty during crowded walks. A generation that harms another living creature to show its love. We’ve finished the 3.5 kilometers. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have come down to the lake. Although, I didn’t see it. If I had, I wouldn’t have bothered you. You were saying something about a bird a moment ago. There’s no water left in the lake, so the poor animal is there. What’s it going to do there? How are it going to take care of the babies there? It’s long gone, right? Of course, my heart is long gone. Look, it really hurts on my shoes. These go away with a wash, too, but don’t worry. Oh, look, there’s an owl. A barn owl. I’ll sacrifice myself to your voice. It’s so beautiful. So sweet. Only, one of them has come loose about a meter deep. It’s old. I’m just trying to understand. We’re in the forest. OK, the water is scarce, but why is the water pitch black? Why is it so dirty? I mean, what’s the reason? I’m going to say the leaves might have darkened it . There are living things living in it, too. Yes, it’s the last kilometer. Instead of walking straight here, we decided to take a shortcut. Because Tuğçe Hanım has been unwell for the past few days. These might be rotten. Let me just check. Yes. This is a bit okay. It’s solid. I set up a stall. I didn’t set up a stall. It was there. Oh, that’s the effort, man. That’s it. And we finished our walk by cheating 1 kilometer. Picnic areas spread over a fairly large area. So, what saddens me about this place is that the water resources have completely diminished, even run out. I’m very saddened by this. Turkey is really facing a major water shortage. It’s already started in some municipalities. They’re specifically not providing water. We want to take you to Limandere kavurma (fried meat restaurant). After 5 minutes of walking through Belgrade Forest, on this main street you see , just past the aqueducts, you’ll come across Limon Dere kavurma ( fried meat restaurant). Let me show you the menu prices. Yes, you can find this menu here. You can also find it online. Yes, look, let me show you the view, friends. This place is beautiful. Babadar is spacious. It’s quiet today because it’s a market. Let me show you a visual. The bone broth soup is also good here. I tried it once. There’s karı sherbet (snow syrup). Natural. Yes, portions arrived. Our pilaf… Our kavurma. They’ve reduced the portions considerably, and such a plate wouldn’t even come. It used to come on a larger plate. It used to come on a different plate. It used to come on a kavurma plate. They served a nice pickle like this. There are two kinds of bread: sourdough and white bread. The dish is very good. Oh yeah. Well, it’s delicious anyway. They’ve reduced the weight of the soup, but I mean, this used to be a more generous restaurant . How’s the soup? Isn’t it good? Bone broth soup. Yes. The ayran (yogurt drink) is also light ayran. Continue eating with the view. My problem with the pilaf is that I didn’t really like it. I was just mentioning it when you made it. Yes , it would be better if you came to the Belgrot forest on the weekend like we did, or even during the week . You can have fun. You can walk. Then you can come to Limandere kavurma and eat. You can have soup. Have soup. Order kavurma. Then walk away. You don’t have to do anything else. We love you all. See you next week. Goodbye. Bye bye.

Sevgilerimle. 🌺🫶
