釧路川カヌーツアー第2弾|雨の中をゆったり下る/Kushiro River Canoe Tour #2|A Gentle Ride in the Rain
First canoe tour in a month Rain forecast from earlier than last time Let’s see what happens… Spotted a deer family right ahead The fawn is so adorable Rain is already starting… This time, I added a 3Coins poncho and long shoe covers Enjoying the rainy canoe tour comfortably This time in the rain, there were two other groups with us This canoe is at the back Despite the rain, there were no more horseflies Late August, perhaps there are signs of autumn? There was wind too, so water droplets got on the lens There seems to be a deer in the bushes In early August, there was heavy rain that flooded various parts of Kushiro city However, thanks to the existence of Kushiro Wetland, there was no river flooding I think preserving this natural dam for future generations is the mission of our current era The canoes ahead have multiple people in each They’re incredibly fast I can barely see them I’m sure the passengers are properly paddling A deer family is watching leisurely Pay attention to this tree I don’t notice it. This is where my confusion begins. Guide: There’s a White-tailed Eagle on top of the biggest tree on the right Me: Huh? Which tree? The biggest tree on the right side Huh? Which tree? It’s not visible now, so let’s go to the front? Huh? Which tree? It’s coming into view. Huh? Where? On the right Ah! There it is!!! Finding a location with just words is difficult. Phone call to the guide 📲 There’s a White-tailed Eagle on the “left tree” ahead They specially contacted me saying this is the only chance to get out the DSLR camera The rain has stopped, so I’ll try taking out the DSLR camera I’m misunderstanding the “left tree” at this moment For some reason, I’m thinking it’s the tree on the left side of the right bank Huh? Where? I search relying on the voice The guide pointed toward the tree for me At the very last moment, I managed to focus. My incompetence was fully exposed The rain had stopped, but there were no subjects to photograph with the DSLR Finally, I can see the canoes of the group ahead The deer is too defenseless… For some reason, we’re overtaking here The goal point is coming into view The old Iwahoki Water Gate, which was never actually used as a water gate The wooden construction looks really cool End of August I still didn’t feel any signs of autumn But Hokkaido’s autumn is just around the corner Thank you for watching

Kushiro River Canoe Tour #2.
Once again, it was a rainy day, but the calm atmosphere and gentle flow of the river made it a special experience.
With only a few canoes visible in the distance, it felt almost like having the whole river to myself.
Please enjoy the quiet sounds of nature along the Kushiro River.
🎥 Course: Hosooka Canoe Port → Iwabokisuimon Gate
