Türk Görmediğim Ülke MOLDOVA – KİŞİ BAŞI GELİR 3.000 DOLAR !!!

And so far, I haven’t seen a single Turk in this country. I wanted to see him in a former Soviet country. Istanbul is here. They sell four days for 99 euros. I only paid 1.5 euros for that coffee. Per capita income is around $3,000. This is a land ruled by the Ottomans for 300 years. Man, I paid 35 for everything. It’s not even a joke. I swear, it’s the same pastry we have. 20 to 30% of the country’s income comes from Moldovans who were unfortunately forced to emigrate . I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many Turks anywhere in the world. All the shopping malls have stores designed for women. I don’t know what the men do in this country. You can speak English well. How come? They sell cookies and candies just like they did in the late 90s . Look. If you’re ready, enjoy the show. I hope I have a pleasant homecoming. Turkey’s leading water purifier brand, Aura Seblon Unix, presents it. [Music] Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Deniz Pehlivan. The 110th country on my world tour. Welcome to Moldova, Europe’s least visited and poorest country. You may recall in the first episode that I was quite afraid to come here. Because lately, even though we can bring our ID cards , Turks aren’t allowed in, and they’re causing problems. As I saw in the news, many people, from journalists to tourists and holidaymakers, had problems. They even warned me when I was boarding the plane from Antalya airport, and I came here with my passport. So, Deniz, you’ve come this far. Welcome. You’re probably saying, “We’re welcome, too.” Why are we here? I came here for two reasons. One is to see the region they call transesteria, which they claim still lives there during the Soviet era, and it’s a special place. I also want to see the Gagauzia Turks. But I’ve only been here for two days. I’m resting. I’m enjoying these beautiful parks and the capital. And since we’ve come all the way to the capital , I want to show you this place and tell you about the country. I’ve studied very well. I especially want to make a Soviet episode for you to watch from now on . If I can pull it off, this will truly be my go-to. So, if you subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications, you’ll be notified. I decided to integrate the stories and start from the heart of the city, the heart of the country . So today, I’ll be taking you on a tour of Chisinau. It’s a tiny capital. Although it has 700,000 people, 20% of the 3.5 million people live here. But the real Moldovans live outside their own country. Because this is a country struggling to make ends meet. It’s a poor country, especially in the rural areas, where until recently people were struggling to survive on $50. Nearly 30 years after its Soviet era , we’re in a country east of Romania that hasn’t recovered, has no access to the sea, and is thus stuck in the middle. Today, I’ll tell you about Moldova and how you might spend your vacations, whether you’re in Chisinau or not. Enjoy the show if you’re ready. I hope you have a wonderful Chisinau trip, too. Our trip begins with the support of Aura Sebilon water purifiers. When we’re touring the world, we don’t shoot every day, of course . Sometimes, after filming, we take a day or two off and rest. We do the laundry. That’s how we regroup. So, when I came here, I decided to rest for a day or two, so I had the opportunity to observe the people , go out in the evenings, and explore the parks. And so far, I haven’t seen a single Turk in this country. I don’t think I can remember a place in the world where I haven’t seen so many Turks. As I mentioned, they either don’t prefer it very much, or we can’t come to the country. That’s probably why we’re a little scared. We’re not making any plans for here. Moldovans are very comfortable coming here. There are even direct flights from Dalaman and Antalya. And I want to show you what I liked most. I loved it, they’ve even built a park out of every square meter. Every square meter is green space. I really enjoyed it. I rested. I took a walk. I really liked that. Kishin Evi. They’ve also set up cafes in every corner. Small kiosks. You can buy a coffee for about 1.5 euros in the country. I drove 45 minutes from the airport to here. I only paid in euros by taxi. I can’t imagine the prices of those electric buses in the city. Even. That’s a shopping mall. It’s in the back, to be more accurate. We’ll go and show you there. See what it’s like. That street, named after their leaders, is their founder’s. Don’t let the green cars fool you. They’re very respectful of pedestrians even on regular side streets. I really miss that. They stop everywhere. Our schedule is busy. I’ll be driving you around with my soles until evening in front of your screens, and I want to tell you about Moldova, eat delicious food, and drive you around like this. I want to see what life is like in such a rarely visited country . There are florists everywhere. They love the flower business. If anyone knows Moldova, please write in the comments. What’s this brand? I ‘ve seen it everywhere. Probably a jeweler. I think they love this jewelry business too. I mean, flowers, jewelry, grooming, beauty. They haven’t compromised on that at all. By the way, friends, what did I tell you when I started my videos around the world? I’d appreciate it if you’d like the algorithm if you’d pause a video and comment like, “I’m going to try it out, have a great trip to your new country,” “We’re following your world tour with great interest .” That way, it’ll appear. Especially in the Soviet section, which I’ll be working on next, turn on notifications. I hope I can do it. It’ll be great. And despite being such a pastry-obsessed society , they have things that resemble our börek (a type of pastry). I’ve seen them in many places . They cost around $1. So, there aren’t any fat people. The women, especially the young ones, are model-like. Let’s exchange some money here. You could think of it as Euro20 for Dollar17. You can find exchange offices everywhere . Now, these young people want to join the European Union. The older ones say, “No,” “Ours,” “our essence,” “the East.” That ‘s why you see European Union flags and such in many places these days. That’s why every brand, everything has come here. Mastercard, Visa, everything works flawlessly everywhere. There are also some very good restaurants and cafes. Of course, there are those among our elders who know what it was like 10, 20 years ago. There’s no such thing. I mean, capitalism has reached every corner of this place, every neighborhood you know. I just gave you euros. He gave me around 2,000. I won’t show you now. Just in case. I’ll show you their currency at a convenient place. Why would I change 100 lira? Even though I don’t use a card. Because there’s a Transinester region here. People say, “We’re still living in the Soviet Union .” It’s an autonomous region. There’s also a region where Gagaus Turks live. I’m going to go there too. I hear I can use and exchange this currency there too. Euros are accepted, though. We’ll see. I haven’t planned them yet. We have money, we have cards. We can eat. Come on. I love this. The sight I regret the most abroad, wondering why we don’t have parks in the city center, is the parks. Places to breathe. Look, it’ll stop, for example. Let’s just pass. This tar is on our heads. I hope our children can do even better. What can I say? I have nothing to say. They have their local food right there. Pastries. I’ll show you that. I’m heading to where I’ll have breakfast, luckily. The weather is very hot, and I don’t mind it. Winters here are supposed to be incredibly cold. Spring is cool, but yesterday, for example, the weather was wonderful. Think of it like October here. It was so enjoyable to travel. So, I recommend paying attention to these times. Now, why do our Turks come here? Men, for example, the nature here is beautiful. That’s why they come. The forests and trees are fun. So, is Moldova a place to come for a vacation? No. I don’t think so, but I’ll probably make five episodes of this. When the five episodes are finished, I’ll decide in the final episode. Now, we’ve come to where I’ll have breakfast. This is La Platente. It smells so good. It’s a very stylish restaurant. They have this side too. Now, we’re going to eat their local food. I’ll tell you all about it in a minute. I swear, it’s the same as our börek, except for the filling. I told them they always eat pastries. Look, they have them here too. We’ll eat them. They just don’t care. I ‘ve never seen anyone welcome me to a restaurant. If you invite them, they’re very cold. Because they don’t know tourism. Tourism hasn’t come here. Because there are no tourists. This is a land where the Ottomans ruled for 300 years. You feel this a lot in the Balkans, too. Whenever I see pastries, I say, it definitely has something to do with us. Look, we’ll be eating pastries like this. Börek and other things. They’ll make things similar to it. This one’s called Laplesinte. I don’t know how to say it. Even the names of very famous restaurants are like that. Think of it like the börek place we have. They also have pisici. You shouldn’t start the day without tasting it and molding it. I followed suit. Let’s see, we’ll order. I learned it. It’s called Laple. I didn’t show you the currency. Look, these are the coins. This is 200 lira, which is approximately the equivalent of 10 euros. I’m saying this based on the money you have so far. Their faces are like this: the kings of old Şafan, the greatest rulers who founded the country, how many of the richest, most prosperous, most important periods they lived in, the kings who kept them alive . You see it everywhere on coins. This is about 5 euros. They’ve also posted photos of their kings from the 50s. This is 2.5 euros. When you look at it like this, it’s approximately a euro. Do you know how small the coins are? Tiny. And their national dish arrived. I ordered lemonade with it. I’ll pay about 120 for it. So, 6 euros . Prices were much lower here before the Ukrainian War. Especially with the migration, prices have risen. Especially with the rents rising like this. Brother, I cut it like this. It’s just our börek. Anyway, there it is. Pastry. There’s cheese inside. Like this. The cheese even melts. The same. It’s quite good. I also ordered lemon like this. That’s good too. Bon appetit. I’ve eaten. Now I want to show you the things that caught my eye in the city center . For example, there’s a shopping mall over there called Sun City. I want you to see how old a shopping mall in Moldova is, as if you’re traveling back in time . There’s Radison Blues, Bristol hotels, everything. See? I’ll leave you with my recommendations for the most central hotels here , the cheapest and most expensive. You can see from there. So, when you come here, try to stay in the center. If that’s more comfortable, I’ll leave them there in a row. Let’s see. I visited this place yesterday and was going to buy a tripod. There are four or maybe even one shopping mall. I visited them all. Dude, isn’t there a tripod in a single mall? I couldn’t find one. I’ve been to Apple Stores and technology centers. None. We ‘re in the most luxurious neighborhood of the city right now, right in the heart of it. They have a mall like this. There’s no retail in the mall. It’s like the shops in front of Eminönü, the electronics markets, the arcades like ours. Let me tell you something that caught my eye. The women are very beautiful in Moldova. There are Russians, too, and so on. They’re very well-groomed. The men are also sloppy. Okay ? Like you, I mean. Then I went into the malls. Dude, everything is geared towards women, you know? Look, everything, for example, the perfume shop, the cosmetics shop, and a separate place selling clothes for women over there. Look, there’s another cosmetics store. All the shopping mall stores are designed for women. I don’t know what men do in this country . You’ll notice it too, and you’ll come here. That’s what caught my eye the most. Now, let’s wander the famous streets here. If you walk a little further down the back streets, you can see the age of the houses, balconies, and buildings, right? Oh, there’s Efes right there. They drink a lot of Efes here. I’ve seen it in the markets and restaurants. And it’s cheaper than here, by the way. Look, the building is about to fall on me. There’s nothing left, plaster or anything. If this place is like this, I can’t even imagine the villages. I’m in a really upscale neighborhood right now. I think we’re seeing a bright side. I’ve seen a thing or two about all the countries that left the Soviet Union : when you go into a back street, even the sidewalks start to deteriorate. The moment he sorts it out, he can leave. You see this a lot. And they set up a lot of stalls like this. Look, this guy sells books. In Russian. Look, they look like old books. Is it all Russian? Ruski all Russian. New or old books. No English. Nixo. Thank you. Have a nice day. No, brother, no. It’s hard if you don’t know Russian. I have a message for Turkish youth here: Definitely learn Russian in your life. Look, Russian is truly an important language. Men, especially, should definitely learn Russian. Russian, Spanish, English. Just kidding, if you know these three languages, the world’s doors will open wide. At the very least, you’ll be able to communicate more easily. Even the alphabet is different. I don’t want to bother learning Russian at this age. For example, if you try, you can learn. There’s nothing you can’t do. But in terms of prioritization. If you’re going to invest in yourself, young people, learn these languages first. As someone who’s been to 110 countries, my biggest advice is: Look, Greece and Bulgaria are selling package tours. 7 days for 169 euros. It’s not 7 days for 139 euros, but what about it? Seriously, Bilal, translate this. Wait a minute. Oh, it’s 7 days. Unbelievable. Is this real? You’d pay more if you planned your own vacation in Greece . It’s like the package tour system we have. I said, I’ve never seen anything this cheap . Istanbul came up. They’re selling four days for 99 euros. That’s ridiculous, but that’s how much this plane ticket costs. There’s something strange about that. Anyway, let’s continue. There’s a famous market here. I know it’s like greengrocers and meat vendors. I’m going to see that. I’ve never been there before either. This time, we’ll take the back streets. Then a woman sticking her tongue out and making remarks scared me. After that, we’ll walk along the main street. It’s not quiet. Do you notice? Even the people are quiet. Even the children are quiet. The market has started. Actually, as I said, it’s a very large country. You can really tell from the people’s faces, you know? Their lives are hard. It’s not easy. Look, there’s a place for people who set up stalls outside and struggle to survive, without any stalls. The market starts here, too. It smells so good, like fruit. Oh, the smell of melons . Oh, my God. Are eggplants this big ? If you cut them in half, you know, 20 euros , calculate from there. They’re the same fruits and vegetables we have. Look, blacks, peaches, apricots. But the smell is nice. There’s a chicken farm over there. He sells drumsticks. For example, a whole chicken costs, like, 2.5 euros a kilo. Isn’t that very affordable? 80-100 lira, that’s the name of the market. Chisinau Central Market. I came from the back. I’ll go to the front now. Great. I love visiting places like this. You too, see real-life faces and traces on your screens. This used to be a chicken street. They all look like village chickens. Look, they’re organic, with lots of fat. They sell lor cheese and cottage cheese there. Look, they sell straight-up Ezine cheese. This is an agricultural country. Because it’s a lush green area, cheese, winemaking, and animal husbandry are all very good. That’s why they have delicious products. So, I ‘ve always had delicious meals at the restaurants I’ve visited. They’re good at that. We’ve come to the other side of the Caspian Sea. Places like this are really nice to visit. They sell biscuits and candies just like we did in shops and markets in the late 90s . Look, you can buy them right there, right in the open. It’s like traveling back in time. Everything is so old, everything. But now I’m in the heart of the market. As you can tell from the width, it didn’t feel like I was wandering through a Latin American marketplace. No. Watch those videos of mine, too. I’ve shared a lot about my world tour. They’re great guides. Let’s go this way. It’s a little more crowded there. Oh, he went to the fish market. I was wondering where the smell was coming from. They’re selling salmon and stuff. That’s interesting. This country is landlocked. Salmon is much cheaper than here. I could show you some restaurants. I ate it straight away. I couldn’t believe it. I mean, they serve breakfast sandwiches and things like that. Was it for Euros, or 5 Euros, or what? Interesting. Oh, how far does it go this Sunday? I saw a tiny part of it. There’s a separate section on the right. Let’s go from there. Come on. The caravan route is lined up. This is exactly our thing. It’s like the ones in Fethiye , but there are delicious fruits and vegetables. I’m speechless. No. You’re coming here, you’re actually renting a house. You’re cooking your own meals. You’re living a little. You could live on a very reasonable monthly salary. I think this was where life truly centered, but I’m so thirsty. My tongue and palate are parched. Let’s get some water. Come on. I found a place like this. I accidentally bought sparkling water. I make that mistake all the time. Usually, those blue- capped ones are sparkling. Anyway, it’s just water. Everything we drink is either in Russian or Romanian. Anyone who doesn’t speak these two languages can’t get around here. Very few people speak English. Only young people do. I haven’t heard anyone speaking English yet. As I said, there aren’t many tourists anyway, so they don’t need it. Most of the people who come here are vacationing from Russia or visiting relatives. Look, there are lovely fruit and snack sections here, but everything is out in the open. The smell of pickles had started. Yes. They sell pickles like here. Carrots, cabbage, whatever you want. Look, they’ve got their eggplants in jars like this. They never make eye contact. I noticed that . You feel it in the restaurants, the cafes, and the markets, they’re very distant. That coldness, as they say, left over from the Soviets, gets into people’s character in these regions. I felt it. What did we, or the Mediterranean people, have? Wow! What are you doing? Come here. Even if I don’t know them, right? They don’t have it at all. Look, the exchange rate is much higher here. I exchanged 1910. It was 1961 at the market. Of course, I changed it at the most central location so as not to bother. Let’s go. There’s something else across the street. We’ll wander around here today. This is a clothing market. Think of it like an exhibition. Of course, I’m guessing most of the products are Adidas, Nikes , etc. I saw them. They’re knockoffs. There’s not much here. I didn’t like it. It’s not colorful. I always empathize with a martyr when I visit places like this. What if I were born here, or if you were, I wonder what life would be like? I wonder what our worldview, our beliefs would be like? What would life be like? That ‘s what I empathize with most. People’s lives are very difficult, too. Don’t look at these people, for example . They barely even set up a stall. Look, they couldn’t find a place to sit outside . Look, most of the products look secondhand anyway. They sell brooms and junk here. They sell suds and t-shirts. They’re all secondhand. They’re really, really struggling. And we arrived at the main street. During the Soviet era, so many people were hurt, so many innocent people starved, and so many millions were killed in wars, whether for reasons or not, that I say they were killed in the name of an ideology, that people still experience these effects to this day. Just think, just 30 years ago, a state collapsed, and how vast it was. All the countries from the Bering Strait to eastern Germany , all the way to Turkey, and many countries in Central Asia, were owned by them all, and people were exploited and starved just to keep this ideology alive, strong, and the system afloat . As long as the Soviets could rule the world, what a shocking story I’ve read. It truly gives you goosebumps. What was done was nothing more than the exploitation of human labor and rights under the guise of so-called ideology . And millions of poor people were killed. Much like in many other political spheres. Therefore, these countries were, sadly , among the poor of that era. Among those who entered by force, it was one of the first to leave in the 90s, and in fact, after they separated, the Soviets disintegrated, and Turkey was one of the first countries to recognize them. We have that bond. It’s very hot right now, I mean. My mouth is dry. I walked all the way to that shopping mall. I never noticed it. Let’s take a walk around here. Let me show you this place. This is a slightly more modern, slightly more luxurious shopping mall. Let me show you this. I wanted you to see both sides. I mean, the bazaars and markets in the back are like today’s shopping malls. It’s a four or five-story place like this. Look what I have to show you. We’re at every table again. I told my brother to get a decent water from here. They have our baklavas. Paklava cunucci. These are the same. This is baklava. The back is the same. This is baklava roll. This is baklava Trua. It’s a shop like this. We are very good at eating and drinking. We really are the best in the world. I claim it. Not because I’m a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, but there’s no branding. If only we could achieve branding, it would be Italian or French. We’re really good at eating and drinking. You saw that while you were there. No gas steel. The young people know a little more English. I don’t care about them. Because they’re so shy. I’ve just come to a cafe like this. I want to unwind and have a coffee. A coffee, a milk, and some hot water. Sorry. I paid 35 for everything . It’s a joke. It’s not even a euro, really. I paid 1.5 euros for that coffee. Just. And we’re at the ABM right now. And something else you won’t believe has arrived. Guess what’s in this? Turkish delight. Of course. The country’s biggest foreign investors are Turks. I mentioned this in the first video. This is probably one of the companies we founded. Boy, I love my country so much, Turkey so much. Bon appetit. Everywhere, there’s a gift or something related to a holiday in Turkey. Look, 7- day packages. From what I see, Turkey is being advertised very well. But even on a Saturday, the shopping mall is empty. I wanted to see this part of it in a former Soviet country. The world is changing, but it still has a long way to go. But slowly, many brands are starting to arrive. We’ll leave here. Now, I’ll tell you about the country’s key points. We’ll start in a moment. Look how old that building is? I mean, the air conditioners are about to fall apart. The exterior of the building is about to fall apart. You know, that Soviet paint on the building? And this is the building of the most famous telecom company: Mongol Telecom. We were there. We’ll head that way. There are always these women making noise, praying , doing something. I don’t understand if they’re collecting money. They recite something like this in the squares. I don’t even know what language it is. I think it’s Russian. One of the most interesting things I’ve seen is that they put cats in cages like this . They collect money to take photos. We have a shelter, a care facility. They say they’re collecting money for homeless cats and dogs. They’ve written it in English underneath . You’re actually making a small donation like this. I hope we do it too, it’s really for caring. After all, we are responsible for every living thing. The world shouldn’t just exist for humanity; even every microorganism, whether breathing or not, should exist for them too. Now, young people, do you see those buildings? Of course, there’s a Soviet-style look. These long, soulless buildings, crumbling into plaster. This view is an example to show you exactly that shot. I’m going to cross that underpass. The sun is burning hot. Let’s walk across the street a bit. I was in a place like this. There’s an underpass, like the one in front of our Eminönü Mosque. One of those is here, where they sell phones, electronics, and all sorts of other things. As people walk around here day and night, something catches their eye, friends. All the bus stops are crowded. I mean, people don’t have vehicles . Even though cars are very cheap here. I mean, a car you buy for $30,000 in Turkey is $10,000 here, but people’s incomes here are very low. Unfortunately, that’s the sad part. That’s why these people are forced to emigrate. There are more Moldovans living abroad and having to work than living in the country . B [Music] God, there’s a festival in the middle of the park. Look [Music] no matter how old you are, look [Music] [Music] A moment ago, while you were joining in the fun, they were actually walking in the park of a very important national leader for them. His name is Stephen the Great. Stephen the Great. In fact, during the Ottoman period, a bird pooped on my hand . I have to wish for a pigeon right away. God, please, let me complete all 197. Thank you. Let me wipe my hand first . Look, this is the first time this has happened to me. Okay, hand is clean. This leader of the Ottoman principality of Moldova, or Bogda, was once called Stefan Bey. In fact, there’s a huge park named after him. These are the most famous streets. These are the places I’ve been showing you for hours. For them, he’s actually the founder of this country. When you look at the country’s history, there are periods when humanity came here, going back thousands of years, of course, but in history books, their most important, valuable, and esteemed leaders are the man I just showed you. This was also their park. In fact, they valued this man so much that he was declared a saint in 1992, and then in 2000. Just imagine, you reign for over 40 years. You’re now a significant leader for the country, and for Romania as well, today. You die, and 400 years later, they canonize you. In other words, you’re declared holy in a very religious sense . If you search for Aziz and Azizeli online, you’ll see how important they are. In fact, this is the leader who caused the Ottoman Empire’s greatest defeat in the Balkans. But of course, Mehmed the Conqueror died one year ago. Then he wins the war again. He wins another war and takes control of the region again. Is this their greatest connection to us? No. For 300 years, the Ottomans ruled this region as well. He was the official national hero of Moldova and Romania, the figure of independence, and also the most important figure whose statues, streets, and parks can be seen all over the country. Without mentioning him, the puzzle pieces would be incomplete without connecting him to the wars with the Ottoman Empire and why he is important in today’s Moldova . Because that gate you see there was built because of the war he won. I’ll give you a little more detail when I enter. You need to know these things. I mean, you need to know the Soviets. You need to know the fate of this country. If you don’t, it will be incomplete. As I travel the world, the most valuable thing I can give you is that now that I know the world map like the back of my hand, I integrate the political and ideological approaches of all the countries I visit and better understand why they are in conflict. I will explain this particularly well in my video about the Soviets . You and I are truly innocent people. Unfortunately, the world and its states are not governed this way. As you travel, grow, and look at things from a political perspective , you realize how innocent and heartfelt we actually are. But at the end of the day , as the saying goes, when elephants fight, the grass gets trampled. It’s up to you and me. These are the things you need to know when traveling these lands. So, just think about how the great Ottoman Empire ruled the world for approximately 700, 800 years. Then the Soviets came and ruled from one end to the other for 50-60 years. Now, for example, today’s America, how much history changes, but at the end of the day, someone still rules the world. I think these things need to be known, understood, and explained while traveling the world. Otherwise, what do I know? I can just grab a camera and go around showing people park after park . That part seems a bit more valuable. In the 15th century, when the Ottomans began conquering many places like Serbia, Bulgaria, and Wallachia, Moldova’s turn came, and Moldova, the Boğan, refused to accept this. Then the Ottoman Empire said, “You ‘re killing our Ottoman roots there in what is now Ukraine, and they declared war. ” He comes here with 30,000 men . This man ambushes our army in our swamp and we martyr 30,000 of them. It’s because of this war he won that they give Ştefîn the Christian sword. The man is no fool. He knows how powerful the Ottomans are and asks for help from the West. When modern-day Poland doesn’t receive help from those countries in that region, they ally with the Ottomans. They say, “Okay,” “I’ll pay my taxes,” and then they don’t sleep again. Mehmed the Conqueror personally launches a campaign just to avenge this defeat. They defeat his forces and are forced to retreat. But we can’t take this place. And the Ottoman Empire is forced to retreat before it can fully unleash its power . The source specifically says it’s due to disease and food shortages. Of course, this is also a cold region. That’s why we’re forced to retreat. It’s because of these victories that they build this gate. So, let’s get to today’s Noğol nature. I’m omitting the Soviet era in between because you’ll watch it separately. You can see it on the map as follows. It’s completely landlocked. To the west is Romania, and to the east is Ukraine. Today, just the per capita income for this entire country is around $15-20 billion, or about $3,000 . We’re also in a country with high income inequality. A particularly large portion of people live in rural areas. A country with a population of 3.5 million, excluding Gagaussia and Transnistria, has a population of approximately 700,000, or approximately 3 million. These regions were recognized by autonomous Moldova when the Soviet Union collapsed. For example, Transnistria has Russian troops. People still say they live according to the Soviet system. And you look at the Gagaus Turks. They’re Orthodox, meaning Christian Turks. I’ll visit them too. But Moldova says you can live here, no problem. But you’re bound to me. Moreover, this country of 3.5 million has almost no industry. Everything. It’s all about agriculture. I’ve never seen any country I’ve visited in the world consider the money coming from immigrants as a source of income. Except for Moldova, 20 to 30 percent of the country’s income comes from people forced to migrate abroad and struggling to make ends meet, Moldovans bringing home . Because this country produces almost nothing besides agriculture . In fact, what did I tell you when I first entered the country? The country’s only international airport is the International Airport in Kishinev. They don’t even have any other airports. They have almost no connections to the world in this regard. But at the same time, they’ve been trying to expand towards the West in recent years, and the European Union has allocated a $1 billion fund for their development, helping the country get back on its feet with these investments. And this country is also one of the countries that has been prioritizing the software sector in recent years. So far, no matter where I’ve used the internet in the country, from cafes to hotels, it’s been faster than in Turkey. Investments in IT, especially with the advent of the internet, have become one of the sectors society is focusing on today. The country has the longest wine cellar in the world. Maybe we’ll visit there too. Why is this there? Because they did this a lot during the Soviet era and are a very large wine producer. They’ve been producing wine for 5,000 years. The country’s biggest export is agriculture, and wine is the largest share of that. This impoverished country , which struggled to survive until the 1990s, that is, until the Soviet Union broke up, was poor and struggling to make ends meet, is now just trying to get back on its feet. So much so that more than 80% of the country struggles with poverty and lives in small settlements. And because these people can’t make ends meet, they’re forced to emigrate, especially to countries like Italy, Germany, Romania, and Turkey—we know Moldovans from the women who came to Turkey. They’re prostitutes . Now, after the 1990s, after the Soviet Union broke up, this country, recognized by the United Nations, has been trying to get back on its feet with its young population in recent years . My goal in telling you this was to connect both its past and the current uprising of Moldova. I don’t know if you’ll ever visit Moldova. Would this information be useful to you? But I’m explaining it in terms of history, hoping that maybe the kids will find it in their books in a couple of days and say, “Oh, we saw Deniz, too .” Now that we’ve officially completed the introduction, we can explore this region a bit more. Because this country has faced many hardships after the Soviets, like the Balkans, but it’s a place we haven’t been to. I mean, we’re all going to the Balkans. From Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, but we don’t know much about this place . So, I’ve read a lot from English sources, too, so you can at least get a feel for it . Let’s walk through park after park, and see if we’ve had our fill of history. I repeat, the best thing about parks built during the Soviet era is the fact that they’re the best. The system , where the best human rights were violated, millions were murdered for ideologies, and power struggles were sacrificed for the so-called balance, is terrible. It makes you sick to your stomach to read. What a cruelty they committed. You might remember the same thing I shot in Germany. During the Nazi era, so many people were killed just for war and power struggles , supposedly to become more powerful. And look at the peace of today . What I’m talking about is flowers. Flowers are flowers. There are florists everywhere. How romantic they are. Or does it have another meaning? I don’t understand. Is this some traditional culture that we should know about? Look, a woman comes and buys flowers for herself, for example. They love it. [Music] God, it’s interesting. I haven’t seen so much. I’ve never seen a market before. I’ve only seen florists , so to speak. Look, people come in their cars. They take the packages. Is it for their spouses or for guests? Hm. These are very nice, though. The smell, I mean, it’s just like it was picked and brought. Look, I’ve been walking around since the morning. I like this place the most . It’s a cafe like this. It’s called Bonjur. There are many places. Right behind that church. People come here. They’re having their coffee. They’re spraying water to cool off. They’re sitting and enjoying themselves. It’s a beautiful place. The music and everything is great here, too. And behind this is this street where the gate is. It ‘s one of the liveliest places. Most of the places you see are so quiet you can’t see anyone. I remember showing you this place at night in the first episodes. And see it during the day. They close it off to traffic like this during the day. People hang out in the cafes on the right. There are souvenir and magnet shops on the left. That’s the noisiest place. And that place on the right is like this. It gets crowded in the evenings. I saw it yesterday when I came for a walk. But there’s a real place. I’ll take you there tonight. You won’t believe it. The busiest, wildest place. That’s a street. I mean, young people play live music here. That’s it. [Music] The street is over. That’s all I have. Let me have a coffee. It’s coffee time. That looks like a nice place. What’s its name? Amano Restaurant Cafe. There are some really stylish places too. Look at this. One of them. Look at the desserts and meats. But of course, these seem to be imported. Because 100 grams costs euros, or about 100 lira per kilo. You can speak English well. How come? Where are you from? Moldova. Moldova. But can speak English from school of English. How many languages can you speak? [Music] That’s what I’m talking about. So, the new generation is now completely in line with the West, so they know English. There are also very luxurious places. Even luxury costs 10, 15 dollars, by the way, generally, but I mean, it’s a country where income inequality is at its highest. Until recently, people lived on 50, 100 dollars a month, but today it’s 200 dollars, which is a difficult region. But you can find places like this if you want. We’ve probably taken about 30,000 steps since this morning. Now we decided to enjoy a nice coffee and a dessert in the afternoon . Their coffee is also very good, and it’s very good, by the way. I’ve never had a bad coffee. It’s also very good. I ordered a cheesecake like this to go with it. I hadn’t had dessert for a while. I just started exercising, so don’t blame me. Hmm. It’s great. They even provide water from the tap here. The water is also very nice. And thanks to my world tour sponsor, Aura Sebü Unik’s water purifiers, friends. You too can have access to clean water at home and at work. I use it in my own home, too. Thanks to this water purifier, the Aura Sebulan Unique water purifier can turn the water in your home into drinkable water . This way, you too can have access to clean water. I’m sharing my world tour with you because they sponsored it and because it came to mind while I was drinking water like this. Now, we’ll recharge here. Evening is slowly falling, and I’ll take you to beautiful places tonight . Let’s see where we’ll go. You’ll be watching in front of your screens . I’ll be planning my visits in this lovely cafe I’m sitting in right now. Bon appetit. It’s night time, so we’ll have dinner. Then I’ll go show you the venues. It’s almost like people have poured out into the streets tonight, especially since it’s the weekend . Now let’s see what awaits us tonight. I went out yesterday. There are a lot of nightclubs here. There are a hundred bars, nightclubs, and pubs all over the world. But there’s one main attraction. I went to where most people hang out. I saw them. There were young people and the like around the park. This is a country, a city, that’s already alive on Fridays and Saturdays . There was no one there on weekdays. In fact, the first day I arrived during the week, I went to a pub called Escobar. It was on the rooftop. I had a drink, for example. It was very quiet. We’ll see how it is on the weekends. Look, everyone’s out at night . I was expecting a more laid-back place like this. I was really surprised. There’s a really nice restaurant up there called Mohito. They’ve been raving about it. I walk towards it. They’ll be having fun around that park soon, too. It was the same yesterday, and it’ll probably be the same today . I’m really hungry. I want to grab something to eat. Mohito, the drink you know, is under those trees, right next to the theater. It’s on the left as you pass the mosque. It’s also very enjoyable to wander around alone, by the way. I really enjoy it. I miss Sezer too. He’s currently traveling around Korea and Japan. We’ll meet soon. I’m traveling like this, telling you, we do world tours, etc., but if you want to travel like this , go and get cards. We’ve set up travels like this for Phuket, Bali, Paris, Rome, Prague, and Vienna. You get that card, and after you buy it, there’s a video inside. We explain how you can explore the city. What kind of country is it like when I travel , how to enter, and so on. Then, you can see everything from visa to accommodation and transportation in writing, either on the website, on travels like me too.com, or on the iOS and Android apps after you purchase . You’ll buy it. After you receive your email address, you’ll log in to your account and see your card. I’ll leave the details to you. From there, you can go everywhere I’ve mentioned. We’ve built a great platform. We currently have over 80,000 followers on Instagram. Thousands of people have downloaded it, and we haven’t had a single negative reaction . Because we love this business, we know it. We’re sharing it with you. You get a card for the price of a coffee, and it’s practically yours for life, not just for a year. I just wanted to let you know since I’ve come this far. Without going into detail, I’m really hungry. This is the place, Mojito. Let’s go. Look, the place is like this. They’ve designed it very stylishly, and it’s huge. This is the bar area. Let me show you. I came here yesterday , but there wasn’t any room. So I’m sitting where I can find it. They have sushi, local cuisine, and international cuisine. The prices are pretty good, too. You can get a meal for $10 or $15 , and it’s very stylish. It’s one of the most crowded, upscale places in the city . And that’s it. I swear, I just ate my meal. It was truly one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had this year, and you paid about $10 for it. It’s perfectly fine, and it’s nice. The atmosphere is quite stylish, but there’s always music playing in the background. They usually like that because restaurants also have a nightclub atmosphere . They smoke hookah all the time. You see this in all the former Soviet countries. But I recently noticed that they’ve started allowing people to smoke outside. That’s a nice detail. I noticed it because I don’t like the smell. And there’s something I’ve noticed in this city: the constant ambulance noise. You hear it day and night. Of course, relax , I mean, it’s something I’ve noticed a lot. That’s why I’m sharing it with you because it caught my attention. It’s night now. Young people gather in those red areas I told you about and start partying. I ‘m walking there right now, on a sidewalk like this. The street I showed you that morning is perfectly safe at night. I never expected it to be this safe. It’s less safe. You know, if you go to Barcelona, you’re more likely to get robbed. I can tell you that. Because sometimes I notice women and things like that. They leave their bags and phones on the table. You still shouldn’t do that. But overall, I’ve felt this sense of comfort in this city. Look, Piano Vishia, over there, is actually a Ukrainian brand and is famous for its cherry wines . Let me show you. Everything revolves around that. [Music] This is where people get their drinks and have fun in the parks over there, they told me. I ‘ll walk around this one night and show you what they do. I actually came here last night. It was pretty late. It was packed too, but I didn’t enjoy it. Because I don’t enjoy sitting on the street and having fun. I prefer clubs, but let’s at least see what these people do. They’re having fun in that place [Music] like this. They gather here in the evenings. They party for long hours at night. [Music] If you’re coming to Moldova and looking for nightlife , if you search Google, most of the sources, including chat GPT , are wrong. Because most places are closed. You won’t find a place. That’s why most places only mention this place. People here mentioned the nightclub on the roof of the Radison Blue . But I met someone today. They live here. I’ll take you somewhere special. Let’s see, a little further away. Will it be as good as they say? Look, for example, the place behind me looks like a nightclub, right? But it’s actually a restaurant. They’re having fun in the restaurant as if it were a nightclub. [Music] Like this. I got here very early just now. A little later, after 12:00, this market gets crowded. You know, those were the main places. Now, when you think of Moldova, you probably think of nightlife, women , and so on. Because that’s how the news in Turkey is always made. But you saw it very sensibly. Bright people, so harmless, naive, polite, quiet. I really liked the people. Nice people, but you know, the old Ukraine is never close to Russia when it comes to nightlife. Of course, it can’t beat Russia, but I hope the place I’m going to next changes our minds. That’s all I’ve seen. There are a few more streets, but you really don’t get that wow factor. It fell way short of my expectations. I don’t even want to show you. People here mostly come to restaurants, listen to music, and hang out. I learned that. Let me take you there. Oh, and there are gentlemen’s clubs here, too. Those who know what they are know. Those who go to them go, those who don’t, don’t. I haven’t been, haven’t seen, and I don’t know, but Moldova has many such nightlife options, all with varying levels of experience. I was curious about that place. Let me take you there. I paid 5-6 euros from the city center and took a 15-minute taxi ride to this nightclub called Prayya, near the airport . They’ve just opened this place. As far as I know, they’ve renovated these places. Let’s see how it turns out. Dude, look what kind of place they’ve set up . They just let me in. Entry is by reservation. I organized that for you. I’ll tell you about it tomorrow. They’ve created a place with a really summer atmosphere. Places like this are much nicer. This girl will take me where I’m going now. [Music] Friends, yesterday I went to this place, and a taxi took me there in about 15 minutes. I saw how they had fun. Here’s a comparison to Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus . As I said, my goal was to create a travel guide for you here . I met a wonderful Turk here. He’ll be very helpful. He’s lived here for 15-20 years. I’ve learned some great ideas. For example, most of the places I showed you in the city center are like this; my students and others hung out there. They’re more convenient places. People would sit on the grass and have drinks, for example. But these were more like nightclubs and restaurants. There were places like Oro or Joni. These were all different kinds of nightclubs. Why am I telling you all this? I’m telling you so you can find the source if you come back one day . I’m trying to create a travel guide for you. That’s all for now. In the next episode, I’ll gradually delve into the history of the Soviets, as well as the Transynthia region and the places where the Gagaus Turks lived. I’m also a little unwell. So, I’ll rest up today, recover, work on the videos , and then head out the next day. I’ll start telling you about them in the next episode, God willing. Thanks for watching. Mongols were like this. Kishen was like this. Their history was like this. Its streets and food were like this. I hope I’ve summarized the country as well as I could in this first episode. This was just a short introduction. Hopefully, there will be much more exciting episodes to come. Subscribe to the channel and turn on notifications so you’ll be notified. That’s all for now. In the next episode, we’ll pick up where we left off in Moldova . Goodbye. Presented by Aura Sevilon Uni, Turkey’s leading water treatment brand. [Music]

  3. Benden de bir bilgi,Gagavuzların yaşadığı Komrad şehrinin adı Kömür at'tan geliyor, onun bir hikayesi var ama onu tam bilmiyorum, Komrad'a gidersen sorup öğrenebilirsiniz Deniz kardeşim…
