Azerbaycan’da 100 Dolar İle Ne Yaparsınız – Bakü’ye HAYRAN Olacaksınız !!!

I want to share with you what you can do in Baku for a day with approximately $100 . Azerbaijan is the easiest country in the world to travel in while speaking Turkish . Kebabs are around $5. Yes. Let it be a memory. As I was wandering around, I thought, “Why haven’t I been to Baku before?” How come Baku is cleaner than many Western cities? You don’t say Azeri. You say Azerbaijani Turks, Azerbaijanis. For the first time in my life, I queued with an ID card abroad . You’re Turkish too. I’m Turkish. You took this taxi from Turkey to the city center for a dollar. Good day. I’m watching you. Are you watching? You’re seeing the world’s largest and first carpet museum. Azerbaijan is the first country in the world where you’ll never go hungry. That’s how much you get for paying $100. Greetings from Turkey. I hope I’ll come to Bodrum. If you’re ready, enjoy watching in front of your screens . I hope I have a wonderful trip to Baku too. Here we go. Brought to you by Aura Seblon Unix, Turkey’s leading water purifier brand. [Music] Good morning everyone, from an incredibly scorching hot day in Baku. The weather is terrible, as you can tell by my face. Today we’re going to have a very interesting trip. Because for the first time, I’ll be delving into both the financial aspects and the full scope of the must-see attractions. In this episode, we’ll go to Baku’s city center. There’s a bank right here. I’ll exchange money there , and I’d like to tell you what you can do in Baku in a day with that approximately $100 . We’ll be wandering around from morning until night. We’ll visit parks, bazaars, the historical center, and eat wonderful food. We’ll have a great night. We’ll see if it’s enough. I’ll be your tour guide, and it’ll be a wonderful day for me to explore Baku. If you’re ready, enjoy watching in front of your screens. I hope I have a wonderful trip to Baku, too. Here we go. Our trip begins with the support of Aura Sebilon water purifiers. I’ll change money at a bank here. Apparently, the exchange rate difference is lower. And I don’t have any money. So, let’s get that out of the way while we’re here. But this is an ATM. The branch must be somewhere up ahead . Look, this is the waterfront. It goes on for kilometers like this. They’ve created a world park along the road. In the previous episode, I prepared a separate section showing you the city from where that flag is. This time , I’ll start from this side and prepare a separate section. I arrived at the bank. For the first time abroad, I queued with my ID. They didn’t even ask for my passport. I’m waiting for my turn now. There are very nice, clean banks. Exchanging money in Azerbaijan is so easy that I even exchanged it at the Islem Mart Bureau, but the exchange rate difference between buying and selling in banks is almost negligible. You can easily exchange it with your ID, but the police just came. They asked, “What are you taking?” I was taking a selfie like this to share on Instagram. You can see from here that I’m chasing a dream on my account, and I said, ” I’m taking selfies here, I’m making a video of this place. ” This caught my attention: the police also ensure the security of banks in Azerbaijan. The security system is the strongest in the country because the police are here. I won’t go into much detail on these matters . I don’t know much. I don’t want to say anything wrong, but if you come to the banks, there will be police on guard duty. It’s scorching hot. I mean, I’m burning from my toes to my hair right now. I want something nice to eat right away. We exchanged money. Now we can start eating something nice . Look at how cute this building is! They’ve even created beautiful motifs right on the sidewalks. It’s like they’ve placed the building right in the middle of an intersection. There are truly beautiful buildings. You know, the buildings the Russians left behind because they ruled the country back in the day. There are also wonderful buildings they preserved and maintained later . I feel like I’m wandering around the streets of Istanbul . I’ve arrived at a place like that. I’m going to have breakfast here. My brother says, “What are you doing here?” I said, “I’m making checks.” I’m here, and I’m wandering around, brother. He subscribed to my channel. He said he’ll watch it. He said, “Let’s keep him company.” Well, it’s all good, brother. I’ll watch it anyway. Is everything good? Is it enjoyable in Azerbaijan? Very good. Very good. Our country is very good. Are you happy? We’re very happy. What more could you ask for? What more could you ask for? Everything is there. Thank God, everything is great. Thank you. Good luck to you too. Thank you. Have a good viewing. Enjoy the viewing. I’m also thinking of writing a review. I’ll write, brother. I’ll write. I’m glad I did. Thank you. Thank you. See you. Goodbye. Sweet people. Look, they have a branch in the city center. I went to the one near my hotel. It has great reviews. Let’s have breakfast. Hello. I learned this bagel culture abroad . We can struggle to find food in many places we go. Now, there’s no simit, no börek, no poğaça, but they’ve made something similar. Bagels are actually like bagels. They put vegetables inside, salmon, avocado , and you basically have something between a bagel and a bagel. It’s delicious. You can find refuge when you’re hungry. Of course, you can have a world of breakfast in Baku, I actually had my previous breakfast. You remember there are places, but I chose this one because it was close and I liked it. For example, this one costs 1590. Calculate 1590 like this. In Azerbaijan, 1 dollar is approximately 170. You can calculate accordingly. I told you I’d place my order and exchanged money. Let me show you the currencies in a moment. Now, you’re in Azerbaijan. Let’s say you have 100 dollars. Okay? I started the video asking what you would do. When you give 100 dollars , they give you this much. This is 100 manat, this is 50 manat, this is 20 manat. So, this much money is approximately 100 dollars. They all have a map of Azerbaijan on them. It looks like this. The bills I noticed don’t have any photos of any people, poets, prominent figures, or politicians on them. The smallest bills I’ve seen so far are this 10. It’s a tiny coin. That’s almost nothing , and there’s 50 to 1. They’re like that, like coins. But actually, you don’t need to use cash anywhere in Azerbaijan. Because they don’t use cash. Everyone uses credit cards. I haven’t spent any cash on this so far. I’m just saying this so you can see. You know, if you’re wondering what $100 is like one day and what to do in Azerbaijan, I exchanged it for that. Yes, our bagel has arrived. So, I’ll pay around $20 for it . That’s around $12. Bon appetit. Something like this. Very nice. Hmm. The bread is great, too. There’s lots of salmon in it. The avocado is also very good. I loved it. Bon appetit. I’m quite full. Now we can go to the city center from here. It’s so hot that I just went out and went back in. It’ll start to cool down soon . You don’t see anyone here during the day anyway. Everyone goes out in the evening. They hang out until 2 or 3 a.m. If we’ve had breakfast, we’re headed to the city center. I’m going to the city center again. I’ll pay 3.8 or 4 manat or something? So, it’s about $2, and it’ll be a 15-minute ride . [Music] I took this taxi to the city center for $2. I’ve explained it in previous videos. Now, friends, I’ll leave the explanation to where I stayed, where you can stay, and where I recommend. Look there. Because I know the city pretty well now. Is this the third or fourth episode ? So, if you ever come back to the Balance, I’ll leave all the links I’ve left in the explanation, from the cheapest to the most expensive, to the central locations. Also, as you know, we have an app: Take Me Around. Tens of thousands of people are using it right now . Download it. You can get it for the price of a coffee . We’ve covered Phuket, Bali, Rome, Florence, Paris, Prague, and Budapest . Sezer and I turned the places we visited into travel cards. We’ve created great resources with 20-30 pages of travel recommendations, complete with videos . Check them out so you can travel the world like this too. We’re actually like ambassadors. We’re your guide. I hope it helps. By the way, some of you might be wondering where Sezer is. Sezer wanted to go to Japan. He wanted to travel there. Otherwise, there wasn’t any discord or mischief between us. We’re two very good friends. People in this business don’t usually get along, but we’re like brothers. We also wanted to travel alone for a bit. So, we decided to miss traveling alone, and I’ve been traveling alone for a long time, and it gets boring. Are you? No, I’m not bored at all. Hundreds of thousands of people are watching, but I’m past that. You really enjoy some things more when you visit by yourself . Keep in mind. Let me distract you from time to time. If you’re looking for a moment to unwind and be alone, I recommend it to you. Take me on your trips, and I’ll leave the card to explain. You’ll know all those cities like the back of your hand. We’ve come to the Eskişehir region, which they call the inner city. Now I’ll start telling you about it by visiting it. It’s a beautiful place. They’ve really preserved their architecture very well. It’s spotless and sparkling . Because there are incredible fines. I’ll touch on that too. Here we go. I started walking from where the taxi dropped me off. Since we lived in a country that was under Soviet influence for years, as you’ll see now, the vast majority of those architectural structures are actually Soviet-era architecture. They dominated these places until the Soviets collapsed in 1991, and a very significant amount of gas and oil in Azerbaijan was used for financing during that time. One of their best achievements today is that they’ve achieved a beautiful harmony by fitting these plane trees into the city without cutting them down . I really like that. Let’s begin our journey by walking through beautiful streets, avenues, and pristine areas. They’re very quiet, by the way. They don’t make any noise. There’s no fighting, chaos, shouting, or calling in their conversations; everyone lives here with respect for one another. Did you know? Along with Azerbaijani Turks, there are, of course, Russians here. I can’t remember if it was 5% or 10%. Along with them, the riots, and over 90% are Muslim. There are Christians too. Those who want to worship in their churches, those who want to go to their mosques. In fact, the Azerbaijani people are proud of their respect for religion and the right to life. They say we respect everyone. I saw a lot of cafes in this area. Hello. Hello. Are you an Azerbaijani Turk, or from another country? Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan? From Almaty. From Almaty. Are you a tourist? Tourist. Did you like it? I liked it. You’re Turkish too. I’m Turkish. I’m from Turkey , huh? Nice to meet you. I do. Bon appetit. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. They’re Kazakhs, for example. I went to Kazakhstan too. Dude, I’ve been everywhere, huh? I think there’s only a little while left. Kazakhstan is a beautiful country too. You speak Turkish there too. Hello. I’m good, and you? I’m good. Thank you very much. Have a good day. Let’s watch you. Are you watching? Are you a subscriber? Oh, thank you. They love YouTube in Azerbaijan. I noticed that. Right? Do you like traveling? I love it, don’t you? I noticed that a lot. I’m happy too. Thank you. Travel a lot, where are you going as a country? Turkey or Europe? Well, go to Turkey too, Europe is great. Qatar, Doha. Then Dubai, I don’t know, Georgia. You go everywhere you can. Yes. How’s life here? Is it nice? Enjoy. Good. Thank goodness. Good. Thank goodness. A little bit hot. Yes. It’s very hot these days. Hot. This is already gone. Heh, heh. It’s been hot these days. Yes. I’ve been waiting since morning too. I ‘m cooked. It was very hot. Oh, very hot. Anyway, it’s starting to cool off now. I’ll wander around like that too. Thank you. You can watch yourself on YouTube. Do you have anything to say about Turkey? Greetings to Turkey. I hope to come to Bodrum. God willing. Have a good holiday then. Goodbye. I’ll probably say it again. After Fethiye, Baku might be the place I’m best known for. They get a lot of views. Greetings to all the Azerbaijani people, our brothers and sisters, and let me give you a very important suggestion, a warning. You don’t say Azeri. You say Azerbaijani Turks, Azerbaijanis. I’ve been warned 25,000 times. I don’t know why we were taught that, but it’s the wrong term. If any of our friends are watching me from Azerbaijan, please tell me the truth. That’s what I was told. That’s how it was taught here. I was criticized a few times because it was meant as a warning. That’s why If you come here, please pay attention to this. Look, can you see the map now? This is actually a city on the shores of the Caspian Sea. It’s in the south of the country, and I’m right in the center. I’m exploring those places. The place we’re in is called the Inner City. This is actually an area that has survived since the 7th century, but when you visit a historical city, like our Sultanahmet Mosque in Istanbul, I can show you 100 places. There are two main points here. I’ll show you those, but they actually have a regular street. People love to visit those places, the heart of the city, where all the life revolves. So, when we get to the center, I want to tell you a little about history. These areas are closed to traffic, and they’ve set up a park every 100 meters. This is the square they call Fountain Square in this Inner City area. It’s a kind of meeting place, and when I got to the water , I cooled off a bit. Well done. They’re really good at parks. For example, we’ve never been able to do that. Are there any parks in Istanbul? You tell me. In all countries under Soviet rule, parks were among the top priorities they prioritized when planning urbanization. I’ve seen and described this in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. You go to Ukraine, and it was a lush green country. It’s the same in Georgia. So, wherever you go, they’ve preserved these parks and squares very well. For example, let me give you an example: they didn’t build shopping malls or residential complexes; parks have always remained parks. You see that here, too, frequently. Now, this is the inner city, the outer part of the city. There are the walls there, actually the walls of the ancient city . Once you enter, the real historical city begins. I’m showing you these areas, which will be the area you’ll spend most of your time in, spanning some kilometers. That’s why, I swear, as I toured these places, I wondered why I hadn’t been to Baku before . I swear, just look at the beauty of these buildings, the elegance of these cafes , the cleanliness of these squares, the shops, and the restaurants ? They’re both cleaner and more architecturally beautiful than many Western countries and cities . I loved them. I’m walking towards the shore. This is also a pedestrian street, but that tree thing is amazing. This is another one of the famous streets. You’ll see a world of restaurants left and right. You can find any cuisine you’re looking for here. It’s really good, man. I really liked it, friends. I can’t easily praise a place 20 times in my videos; either my expectations were low, or we didn’t realize the value it truly deserved. It’s a very modern, very clean, and very enjoyable place, so come with peace of mind so your kids can at least see the cleanliness. Let it inspire them. You’ll enjoy walking around. Look. Look, this is also a pedestrian street called Aziz Aliyev Street. Events and parties are held here, especially. If you remember, Nermin told me about it in the first episode recently. Let me explain the playlist of all my Baku and Azerbaijan videos in order . Watch it from there so you can see how to get there and how to plan . Now, as I started walking from here, I noticed something. There’s a baklava shop. Come and see what kind of baklava they have. Azerbaijani baklava or Turkish? Hello. I want to eat baklava. Good luck. Oh, it’s such a stylish place. There are so many stylish places. Look at the Turkish delights over there. Are these Azerbaijani baklava or Turkish baklava? We have Turkish baklava as well as Azerbaijani baklava. You can try whatever you like. What’s the difference? Let me put it this way. What kind of baklavas are there? Turkish baklava has a thinner dough and only one layer is filled with pistachios or walnuts. Yes. Azerbaijani baklava has a thicker dough and each layer is filled with walnuts, sometimes hazelnuts, sometimes hazelnuts. Your baklava has a little more syrup. Isn’t yours less sweet? Ours is sweet too, but yours is very dense. Too dense. Your Turkish is very good. Thank you. Is it from TV series or have you lived in Turkey or something? No, I haven’t lived in Turkey, but I have Turkish friends who are children, whether they have TV series or songs. Is that so? What’s your favorite TV series? I don’t watch TV series. When I was a kid, I had Turkish friends. The accents they watch are usually very good too. Because men, for example, don’t speak much. Women know Turkish better. I learned it from TV series. That’s how I learned it. It’s very popular. Let me have one Turkish baklava then. One Azeri baklava, one of this one. The walnut one? Yes. And one with pistachios. I can get that one, for example. Okay. Look at your videos. Have you watched my videos? Thank you. I know you. Thank you. You’ve also moved to America. Do you live here in America? Yes. Yes. Coincidence. Look. My mom said, “Oh, I know you,” she said. “It’s a small world. Yes. When I saw baklava like this, I thought I’d try both and understand the difference. Where will you go from here? I don’t know. I haven’t made any plans , I mean. Where are you from? I came from Dalaman. I’m in Baku. Maybe there’s a place called Kuba. Kuba. Yes. Go to the village. Isn’t it nice? It’s not nice. It’s 2.5 hours from here. Yes. Maybe I’ll go there for the day. We’ll see. You can watch it too. Do you have anything to say about Turkey? Hello. Hello. Bon appetit to you too. The TV series are in Turkish, the songs are in Turkish, the baklava is in Turkish, everything is in Turkish. In other words, Azerbaijan is the easiest country in the world to travel in while speaking Turkish. When you come to such countries, it’s much easier to order both and compare them, rather than being prejudiced . So, I ordered one from ours and one from theirs. As the girl described, this is Azerbaijani baklava. This is our baklava. One with pistachios, the other with walnuts. So, it might just be a taste difference, but I ‘m curious about the layers. I ordered tea to go with it. It’s the same as our tea, but they also offer it with crushed sugar and put it in your mouth, or with mint. Let’s try the Azerbaijani baklava first. After all, we’re in their country. Let’s cut it like this. It’s very good. It’s not exactly crunchy, but I think the sugar content is perfect. Let’s take a look at ours. Your regular baklava with pistachios. Hmm. Now I see the difference. Ours is definitely more intensely sweet. Theirs is medium sweet. This is the clearest difference. Bon appetit. Oh, I even had the delicious dessert for this. I paid 13 manat. So, about $7-8 . Both were delicious. Now I’m about to enter the center of Eskişehir. Let the stories begin. From inside the city walls, you can now enter the very heart of Eskişehir like this. Everything we see from here on will be historical, friends. And this area has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site only 20 years ago. Now, when I step foot, I want to show you something first. So many people have eaten here after a post on Instagram, and I’ll see, there’s a world of alternatives in my mind. Can you eat local cuisine like Kaynana Restaurant ? That’s where you’ll find it. Since it’s only a short walk, they can even transport you in these bougies. Since it’s been under UNESCO protection since 2000, this place is dominated by houses with bay windows and a horizontal architecture. There are some very nice shops, hotels, and restaurants here. [Music] I’ve now arrived at the palace of the Shirvan Shahs, who ruled this region for approximately 700 years and lived in prosperity during its peak . This is where they lived from the 9th to the 16th century, when all these walls were built . Along with the palace behind me, there’s also what they call Maiden’s Castle. I’ll show you there, too. Their most famous place. You pay approximately 15 manat to enter, and you can even get a three-night combination. But while many of my YouTubers and blogger friends say the outside is more beautiful than the inside, I want to use my right to do so. Let’s at least see it while we’re here. Come on. [Music] Really, listen to the YouTubers, man. It’s as good as they say. There’s no need to go inside. Inside, you can see the rooms where the clothes, instruments, and other items used during those times are exhibited . Don’t expect a huge complex. So, I think it looked better from the outside. If you noticed, you’re in for a lot of history. I couldn’t overwhelm you, or if you’ve noticed, I haven’t commented much on the country’s economy, history, political situation, education system, and prices. Because I’ve studied my lesson so well in the next section that I’ll be making a separate section for you, covering Azerbaijan’s history from the Soviet era to the aftermath, from its gas and oil production to current salaries, markets, luxury resorts, and the recent growth of the tourism sector . It was a video about what you could do with $100 if you ever came here . So, turn on notifications and you’ll see it in the next section. I’m currently wandering around the backstreets of this inner city . It’s like visiting any place in Midyat, Mardin. They’ve preserved this area beautifully. There’s nothing on the streets. You just wander around. Just look, just a block or two behind that tourist attraction, and a flower-lined avenue greets you. It’s beautiful. Everyone rushes into the backstreets. I followed the crowd. If you’ve enjoyed the video so far, don’t forget to pause it and leave a comment. That ‘s how the algorithm works on YouTube. This way, you’ll get both recommended videos and notifications. I’d appreciate it if you could support me in this. Unfortunately, such a system exists. There’s still life here. People live in these narrow streets, where horizontal architecture is prevalent. Look here, for example. You see a street that makes you feel like you’ve arrived in a completely different world. You see a side street. Now, I’m walking towards what they call Maiden’s Castle, and let me tell you something very important. I just bought a ticket; they also sell combination tickets here. For 20 manat, you can visit three important sites. There’s both that palace and this castle, and an underground area. But really, you don’t usually visit that. They say it’s better to see it from the outside. I’ve made my choice to go with one. If you ever want to see it all, you can buy a combination ticket like this, folks. It’s still very quiet here. You can enjoy walking along the cobblestone streets. [Music] A castle built during the Shirvanshah period . Of course, since it’s Maiden’s Castle, it has a story, too. A king’s daughter, unable to reunite with her beloved, commits suicide. That’s why they call it the Maiden’s Castle. This could be a legend, a historical note, but as far as I know, it’s true. There’s nothing here. But behind me, you see a UNESCO-protected building, one of the city’s and country’s iconic structures. In fact, this was once an area where the Caspian Sea reached the city walls. Over time, the waters receded, and Baku is the lowest-lying capital in the world , at 25 meters. I’ll explain all this in the next section. That section is because we’ll be going in chronological order. Just to give you an idea , since you’ve come this far , you might have a girlfriend with you while you’re wandering around. You’re doing something artistic like that . There’s nothing for sale anywhere. You might not be wowed when you arrive like this, but wandering these streets is quite enjoyable. So, is there anything that catches your eye? How come Baku is cleaner than many Western cities? For example, do you know what would happen if I accidentally or deliberately dropped that receipt ? I’d pay a fine of approximately 300 manat, or around $200. There are cameras everywhere. If I do this a second time, I’ll pay a fine of 700 manat, or $500, regardless. If I do it again, I’m sentenced, meaning they’ll send me to jail. There are even alternatives. They’re also assigned social responsibility, cleaning, and other duties. So much so that if I throw out a single piece of trash, even a large one, I’m fined up to 7,000 manat, or around $4,000. The worst part is, it’s on us. That’s why this city is so clean. That’s why tourists are the first to admire its cleanliness when they visit. And believe me, when I go to many places in Turkey, I can’t find a place to take photos anymore. Cigarette butts and garbage everywhere. If anyone from our government agency is watching me right now and you impose a fine for littering on the streets, I promise I’ll be the first to share it. That was the best thing I learned in Azerbaijan. The worst part is, it’s on us. Every country I visit, I find a rooftop bar at night. From there, I can see a city like this. I’ll watch. I’ll have a drink. Now I found a place here. I want to show you it. It’s on the rooftop of a very luxurious five-star hotel. I’m currently on the third floor. Now I’m going to go up to the top floor. Look, they’ve built a rooftop bar on the rooftop of this hotel. Now you can literally see the Baku promenade, so to speak. And it’s all green. See? All the way across. In the previous episode, I showed you that shopping mall, the martyrs’ cemetery there, and the flame towers on the hill. Now I’m showing you the city center. It’s very beautiful, very clean, and sparkling clean . I’ll rest here for a bit. Then we can explore these places. Look, for example, I’m on the rooftop of a five-star hotel in the city center. In one of the most famous places, you can have a cocktail for 12 manat , or a pasta dish for 12 manat. This country has very reasonable prices compared to Turkey. I still think so. I’ve been telling you about the city and the country for hours now, and I’m getting tired. This coffee feels good, too. Usually, you can get a drink in a place like this for 10 or 12 manat. Now, after your coffee, I haven’t visited that park either. They say it’s beautiful too. We’ll tour it together. All these seating areas you see are made for Formula 1. For example, Formula 1 will be held here in September. You see , races will be held on these streets. One of their biggest marketing features that added value to tourism was Eurovision, and another was Formula 1. I’d love to witness that, too. Keep in mind. If you ever come to Baku, a Formula 1 leg is also being held here. I’ll take you to a very beautiful park now. We’ll go through this underpass. [Music] When the evening cools down, people start pouring out into the streets. Of course, winter is very cold here, but they told me spring is the best time . In September and October, during the summer heat, they either go on vacation or go to the festivals, summer resorts, and resorts in their own countries’ coastal areas . Now, you can’t see a single person in the city during the day. When evening comes, everyone pours into the streets. They’ve built a little artificial Venice called Little Venice right here in the park I’m in, next to the carpet museum . I came to see it, but I want to show you something else. Look , I’m going to get a cola or water from the kiosk. A cola is only one manat. Look, friends, just one. Hello. Can I get a water? Still water? Still water. Okay. But the cola isn’t too cold. That’s fine. Lukewarm is fine too. It doesn’t matter . I mean, it’s not boiling. Okay. How much is it? 1 manat. Is a cola one manat? Yes. It’s small. Dubai is very cheap. It’s convenient. So be it. Yes. Can I pay with a card? You can. Uh-huh. Let me give you something else. I’m in Little Venice, which was opened in 2012. It has a very interesting story. In the 1950s, the mayor was inspired by Istanbul and then went to Venice and said, “Oh, I can do the same thing in Baku,” but nothing really fancy happened. Then, in 2012, they restored it again, and it became one of Baku’s most famous destinations : this place called Little Venice. People, look, it’s actually an artificial pool, with restaurants around it. They ride these motorized gondolas. This is how they experience romance. [Music] Behind me, you see the world’s largest and first carpet museum. This region is Iran, Azerbaijan. Carpets are very famous. The first such museum was built in the 1960s during the Soviet era. But it wasn’t in this building, but in the inner city center. In the 2000s, an Austrian architect designed an architectural structure like this because it looked like a rolled-up carpet. There are thousands of carpets inside. In fact, one of the oldest carpets, dating back to the 17th century , is being exhibited. I won’t go into that here. I’m not particularly interested, but if you come, you can visit. It’s known as one of the most important stops and museums here. You might want to see it while you’re here. It’s one of the most famous museums in Baku, and one you won’t see in many other places. This is the Carpet Museum. I started walking along the waterfront at night. Did I show you? You walk from side to side from the museum, and at night, those three skyscrapers, those famous flame towers, are illuminated like this. Suddenly, they’re adorned with the Azerbaijani flag and images symbolizing fire . You can walk for kilometers along the waterfront from here. There’s a half-moon-shaped skyscraper there, and beneath it, there’s a very famous luxury shopping mall. I’ll tell you about that in the next sections. Because it’s a whole different world. Now, you’ll be asking why those flames? After the flag, because this is the land of flames, and Zoroastrianism is a pre-Islamic religion. Azerbaijan is one of the places where religious shrines still exist . Another is Iran. I showed you that in Iran. Another is India. To symbolize this land of flames and flames, they illuminate these famous towers. I loved this place. It became a completely different world at night. If you ever visit Baku, I recommend walking along this waterfront. I’m so hungry. It’s dinner time. We’re going to a great restaurant. Look, I told you everyone goes out at night. All the places are starting to fill up. When the cool weather starts, people throw themselves onto these traffic-free streets. Now I’m going to wander around and eat somewhere. It’s beautiful in the evening, too. Look, all the buildings are lit up. They’re selling chestnuts and corn on the street, just like here. You can eat them at your leisure in the evening. Now I have 34 restaurants on my list. I have to choose one of them. I can’t go to them all , after all. I’ll tell you more in the next sections if necessary. I gave one more chance. Many people recommended it on Instagram. I’ve just shared stories about each one. You can follow them. Let’s see if it’s as good as they say? I’m so hungry. Let’s go. [Music] There was no one here during the day. Everyone took to the streets. There’s a restaurant called Firze somewhere over there. You can eat really good Azerbaijani food . I hope I can find a seat. Because it’s Friday, it might be a little difficult. Apparently, most of the seats are full. This is a restaurant that’s been operating since T6. And most of the famous restaurants here are underground, like a cellar. Let’s go in and see. People are waiting in line. We’re definitely not going to find a seat. I found a seat. Let’s see. It’s like this. It’s like being in a cave, like in Cappadocia, but it’s very airy and clean. Thank you, brother. When you say you’re a YouTuber in Azerbaijan, doors open. They really prioritize social media here. Because the country’s new expectation is tourism. Just like the Gulf countries are saturated with oil and gas. Countries like Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai, and even Saudi Arabia are completely focused on tourism. I think Azerbaijan is striving for that too. In fact, they’re currently expecting 2 million Chinese to come this year . The new generation’s expectations are shifting to tourism. That’s why I said I’m a YouTuber. They immediately changed my table. It’s too dark in there. I couldn’t shoot. The menu arrived. I was confused. There’s a world of food. But let me tell you this. The best part is that they’ve included photos of everything . You can at least get a sense of what you’re going to eat. The prices, I think, are very reasonable. The website I went to before was Kahal. I went to the most expensive restaurant in the city. We got a little burnt there, but it was worth it. It was very good. For example, the soups here are 78 manat, or $5. For example, if I get stuffed vegetables, it’s 12 manat. For example, let me show you a 1.5-kilo one. They call it Shah pilaf with rice. It has meat in it, too. It’s only 60 manat. I think 34 people could eat it. Because it’s 1.5 kilos. The kebabs are about 10 manat. So, about $5. It’s incredible. They recommended this dish to me the most here: Kız kalası (Girl’s Kalası). This is meat. There’s peppers and onions. It’s something with eggplant. For example, it’s 23 manat. So, it’s like $10, $15. And the börek we have. I had this the first day , but I thought, “Well, there you go,” and I wasn’t wowed by it. They call it kutap. They make it with cheese, spinach, and greens, and it costs, say, 13 manat. I’ve already said something. Let’s see how it turns out. We’re waiting. Look, there’s even live music inside. Let me show you there too. [Music] I loved it, I ate shir, I love you, my darling, my darling, shock, so much, I’m so sorry, I’ll get it, I was born this month, eyes, eyes, gas, Brother, now dolma has arrived. They recommended this one the most. They bring it like this. They bring it like this. They wrap it not thinly like ours, but more squarely , and they bring this yogurt on the side. There’s lamb in it . It’s more like beef for us, he said. That’s what he said, brother. That’s why it might be a little different for you. Let’s taste it. I’ll add a little of that yogurt, too. Let’s see how it is. Very good. Very, very good. I love it. Let the next one come. I love this. It’s really, really good. I mean, the first country in the world where you will never go hungry is Turkey, for Turkish citizens, Azerbaijan. You know, they never had a second argument. How did they do it so well? I really want to eat this entire plate right now. I liked it that much. I ordered a watermelon juice. Actually, I ordered narsu, but they didn’t have it. It’s very good. I think it’s a great summer drink all over the world. When I mention this, it’s a dish called Made Tower, or Maiden’s Castle. They’ve tried to make it resemble Maiden’s Castle. It’s small on one side and large on the other. It has meat inside. And they add sauce to many dishes here. It’s not as plain as ours. Keep in mind, it has a meat dish that resembles a tandoor. It’s surrounded by something like this. I’m looking at the meat. It’s a dish with a nice sauce. With eggplant. It’s a flavor I’ve never had before . H. The eggplant is delicious. Good. Bon appetit. I was stuffed. In fact, I couldn’t even finish the second dish. It cost 50 manat. The portions are huge. I was full even with that dolma. So, if you ever come here, you could easily eat those dishes for two. It’s worth mentioning, and it’s underground like this. Good restaurants. There were a lot of other options, but I’ll leave it to the ones I know. You can find out from there, or if you watch my previous or subsequent episodes, you’ll see other alternative restaurants. Now, since it’s Friday evening, I’m a little curious about the streets. Let’s see what people do on a Friday evening in Baku. Come on, let’s see. Look, there are women right there, rolling out yufka börek (a type of pastry) right before your eyes, just like here. There’s Turkish delight in the background. Everything is the same. Only the names of the two countries are different. That’s been my observation so far. There’s a nightlife area there. Let’s go there and see what they have. Everyone’s at festivals right now for Justin Timberlake’s concert, but I still want to see it while I’m here. Even the street artists’ music is our music. It’s exactly the same; our songs are playing in every venue and on the radio. You experience that on the streets too. Look, the night is so beautiful. They’ve nailed the lighting. See? It’s sparkling. Just walking around here is a joy. I mentioned Nizami Street as their Istiklal Street in the previous episode, but I’ve never shown it at night. Look, they’ve lit it up like this at night. This street stretches for miles. I understand better why people go out at night. It was scorching hot during the day. It’s blowing a breeze right now. Even walking around here is so enjoyable. [Music] God damn it. The song “Araçım Daça” is playing. Don’t do it, for the love of your eyes. I ran away from this and came here just to avoid hearing these songs. How do people listen to this music? It’s amazing. Don’t get me wrong when it comes to music in Turkey, but aren’t 99% of the venues really bad ? They listen to songs called “Araçım Daça.” Our taste in music gets worse every year . Sorry, young people, sorry. That’s why those are still the British, or our English songs, or our old songs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are more valuable, but the new generation loves this too. What are you going to do? I have the utmost respect. I don’t like it at all, but I can’t stand it either. So, here’s Demet Akalan’s song. As I said, our songs are playing everywhere. It started moving around here. If I see anything, I’ll take a picture and show it to you. This is how the nightlife begins, just a few streets behind the places I just showed you . It begins with traffic , and there are bars and such in between. Now I’m walking past these beautiful buildings , heading there. This is supposed to be the calmest traffic. That’s what they say. They even told me to see you when the festival is over. Maybe if I can find a ticket to Justin Timberleck’s concert, I’ll go too. By the way, there are some places around here, but of course, it’s early. Aren’t the buildings beautiful? How are they doing? Oh, they’re ten times better than us in terms of buildings. In terms of urban planning. It’ll happen. Shoot, man . I’m shooting. Yes. Let the memory remain. Let it remain. Okay. Brother , I hope you’ll watch yourselves on YouTube. Is there anything you’re trying to say? Watch you in Turkey, have a safe trip. Always travel. We’re watching you. Thank you. Congratulations. You have great content. Thank you. Thank you. Good evening. Goodbye. Goodbye. Wow. They love our videos in Azerbaijan. I said it at the beginning of the video. Greetings once again to all. You are good people. You are truly warm-hearted. You know, beyond being a brother country, you are human beings. I felt that in my bones after being here for four days . Greetings to everyone. Now, around this neighborhood, there’s a world of nightclubs and live music venues. I went into one, and I didn’t even smell it. They smoked so much, my head was spinning from the smell. The inside was covered in such fog. There’s a place like that, right there. What is it? Eçelon, I don’t know. It’s a world of entertainment here. There are nightclubs, but I don’t feel like having any fun. My jaw has been tired since morning. I want to go to the hotel and read a book. I’m slowly heading home now. There used to be a world of nightclubs here . You’ll see them if you walk around Tarkovo Square, but I didn’t really like it because of FOMO. Mahmut Orhan even appeared there. They had one of the best nightclubs. It was the best. Maybe I’ll show you in the next episode. If I have another night like this, I won’t be able to get up the next day. I don’t want to be a complete mess, so what am I going to do here alone? I can either stay in the city center or stay in one of the fantastic, star-studded hotels. I ‘ll leave it all to the explanation, but you can generally get a room for $30-40 per person, or $70-80 per person, and have a very comfortable vacation. I told you how you’d spend a day in Baku if you had $100. Of course, spending more or less is up to you. Ultimately, I made an updated video . You can make your own guesses based on it. Thanks for watching. I’m going to go to my hotel now, and in the next episode, by the way, I just went to a cafe called Friends. I met the owner. They were very sweet people. I showed you that street while walking this morning. You can have a coffee there too. The coffee was very good. I’ll be up in the morning too. I’ll prepare a great Azerbaijan video for you in the next episode. You’ll learn some great information about this country’s history, economy, and current situation . And right there in Baku. That ‘s all from me for now. Thanks for watching. In the next episode, we’ll pick up where we left off in Azerbaijan . Bye-bye. Presented by Aura Sebilon Uni, Turkey’s leading water purification brand . [Music] Birth per purchase. I’m in trouble. Oh my eyes, oh my eyes. A violin is bought and filled.

  14. Azerbaycan hk söylediklerine hayran oldum. Çok güzel bir değerlendirme. İnsan olmaları. ❤️🧿
