【欧州1ヶ月周遊#20】ニース最終日|旧市街と海岸散策&名物ソッカ食べ歩き|コートダジュールのんびり旅 Vlog|50代ひとり旅Vlog|

Hello. I’m Inomata from Neige. This channel features travel and daily life vlogs. This video shows my sightseeing in the old town on my last day in Nice . I had some time before my flight to Helsinki, so I was able to enjoy my final day to the fullest . I hope you’ll join me on this trip. Let’s begin the main story. Good morning. I bought a croissant at a bakery near my accommodation. I bought a croissant and a chocolate. I think it was 2.7 euros for two, which I don’t think is that expensive. Today is my last day in France, so I did my last bakery shopping. I wonder if I can eat it by the beach later, since I can’t eat much in the morning. I went to a chocolate shop that was recommended to me. The lemon dried fruit and jam are delicious. I’m offering a tasting and will buy some to take home as a souvenir. A follower recommended it to me, so I went. It’s a shop that combines a chocolate and fruit factory. The top looks like this. The staff member is Japanese, so I asked if I could take a look, so I went. It’s like this! I’m so glad I came! I didn’t know it was a workshop ! Oh , the thing I just bought is there ! It’s Sunday, so there’s no one there, but it’s nice to be able to look around. Wow, it looks delicious. This is cute. I went shopping. I think I’ll take a picture here, it’s stylish. I went shopping, and it looks like this. They have tastings here. I didn’t see much of it on YouTube, so I’m glad my followers told me about it. I’m so glad I was able to come here and get some advice from the Japanese staff . I ‘m leaving today, so my luggage will increase again, but it was nice to be able to ask the Japanese staff about various things, and what they recommend . The lemons are what they’re famous for. I usually can’t eat chocolate-coated fruit, but I had some yesterday and they were delicious, so I’m buying them as souvenirs . They’re delicious. You can sample them here, so it’s fun to be able to check them out before making a choice. I finally found a great souvenir at the very end . I finally understand what they told me about the flowers yesterday, so I went shopping because they’re edible flowers . I’m so glad the staff are Japanese, and I can shop with peace of mind. It seems they’re located near the flea market merry-go-round, so I’ll go there. I’ll go back to my room for a bit to buy some chocolate, so I’ll leave it there and then come back again. It’s my last day in Nice. The sky is a little cloudy, but the ocean looks like a cream soda. It’s so beautiful. I’m thinking of asking the shopkeeper a few questions and exploring the city a bit. I only have about two hours left, so I’d like to take my time and enjoy Nice before heading to Helsinki. It feels great. I got so close. I ‘m glad I brought my skirt and these Crocs. This is the ocean in Nice. It’s so beautiful. I underestimated the Mediterranean sea . The sand from the mountains and the muddy water make it look like a cream soda, so I don’t mind getting a little wet. My feet are soaked, so I thought I’d try getting them wet . Oh, it’s cold. It’s cold. I’m swimming even though it’s pretty cold. But yesterday, I was talking to a follower and they said that mornings are better because there are fewer people, it’s not too hot, and the waves are calmer. Maybe that’s why everyone goes in so early . Nice is a real resort, so there are people from all over the world, but it was fun. I went to so many different places and had a great time. It feels so good. I’m back on the road again. This is a really wide space, but it seems to have been built by the British. I’m walking on a wide street built by the British. There are no cars, so I can walk slowly. Like this. If I keep walking from here, I’ll head towards the old town, so I’ll go there. But before that, I’d like to stop by a cafe. I’ll go downstairs while looking at the beach. The umbrellas are open again, and it feels like the beach, a vacation spot. This is picturesque. I ‘ve been walking for a long time. It’s amazing. The sea is so amazing. No words needed. It’s wonderful. In the end, I walked all the way to the very end of Fromnade . My legs were pretty shaky, but I actually wanted a coffee, so I ended up sitting on a bench and eating the croissant chocolate I’d bought that morning. The view was so nice I didn’t even need to go into a cafe, so I was just relaxing when an Italian called out to me. He suddenly sat down next to me and started talking to me. He seemed so familiar with me, I was really surprised. But I was going home, so I cut the conversation short and left, but I only had about an hour and a half left, so I thought I’d take one last look around the square. When I got here, there was this place where the seawater was coming in from the beach. It felt a little strange, like sailing. It looked so nice. I’d like to try it someday. I hope I can come again with my family when the yen is strong. I wonder if they go all the way there, and if they land there, it’ll be fun. I actually wanted to have a coffee here, but after drinking alone here, I might come back. It’s so close, so I was looking forward to it, but I think I’ll go to the square one more time . I wonder how much Nice’s cute tram costs. But there aren’t many. It says 12 euros, 6 euros for children. There aren’t many buses. There were some big ones, but they seemed sparsely populated. This area is the old town. I haven’t bought any souvenirs yet, so maybe I should go and buy some now . I wonder if there used to be a fountain here? Construction is currently underway. The right side is the new town, and the left side is the old town. The streetscape is completely different. I think the Uniqlo I went to yesterday is in the new town. This is the last sightseeing in Nice, but this is the old town. I was just told that this is the old town, and there’s a waterfall right in front of me. I think it’s the one I went to yesterday, though it’s far away so you might not be able to tell. I can see it around here. This is the Nice Opera House . A cute souvenir shop. It seems like it’s around here. There are more souvenirs than the last place. There are also restaurants around here . I went to Cours Saleya yesterday, but maybe it’s past noon, so the market is closed. The buildings are lovely. Nice is compact, so it feels like I’ve walked the same places multiple times . The city has many narrow streets like this. It’s so cute. As I was walking, I saw a long line at a restaurant serving Nice’s local cuisine, so I decided to buy some. I wonder what it’s like. They say it’s best to eat it fresh, so I’ll have some. I’ll go for a bit of food and walk around. This was only 3 euros. I paid 5 euros with my credit card, so I only have 5 euros left in cash. I wondered what SOKKA was, and apparently it’s made from mashed chickpeas. It’s pretty tasty. It tastes similar to a thin omelet. It’s delicious. It’s quite salty, but it’s delicious. I think I said “Galerie Square” ( if I’m wrong) , but it’s where the merry-go-round is. I go there often. It’s definitely a miscellaneous goods market. It doesn’t feel like an antique market . There’s a merry- go-round over there, and this place is similar. I used Nice as my base and went to Cannes, Eze Village, and Monaco, so I didn’t get to see much of Nice, but Nice is still a pretty small city, and I think it’s still enjoyable just to relax and enjoy the ocean. I was blessed with a great host, and my followers took me to recommended places in Cannes, so I had a really meaningful time. It was really fun. So I think it’s about time I head back to my room. It’s 4pm now and my flight is at 7:55. I still have a little time, but I’ll pack my bags in my room and take a break before heading out . I’m eating while I’m in, but it’s surprisingly salty, so I don’t think I’ll be able to finish it. After that, I’ll head to the airport. My host was very kind, but he didn’t say much. My checkout time was 12 noon, but he offered to let me use his room if my flight was delayed or canceled. He was a very kind man, even though he didn’t say much. I made many good connections and had a great trip to Nice. I’ll try this place . It’s rare to encounter something like that. Finally, I was asked to go to Napa by an Italian, but Italians are amazing. They’re always talking to everyone, asking for their phone number, asking to go for coffee, etc. It’s a strange feeling, even though we just met. The Airbnb I’m staying at is up ahead . The bakery I visited this morning is already closed for the day, so I checked out. He was a very quiet person, but he spoke a little Japanese and greeted me. I had to carry my suitcase up to the fourth floor, and he carried it all the way there, which was a huge help. And look at this suitcase . It’s expanded, since my luggage has gotten a lot heavier. It’s expanded. It might be a little over 23kg. I’ll have to check it at check-in. Now, off to the airport. Bye. I didn’t notice it when I arrived, but there’s an elevator, so if you have a suitcase, you should definitely use it. The return trip was a breeze. Bye. I’ll head to the airport. I’ve already bought my ticket, so I’ll be fine . I hope I can speak a little more French by the time I come back. At least next time, I’ll head to Helsinki. This will be the last place where the language changes again. We arrived at the airport. The flight was delayed, so the 7:45 AM departure was changed to 8:15 AM. After this, our luggage will be checked. Unfortunately , the lounge was full and I couldn’t use it, but I was glad I spent quite a bit of time in Nice. I’m heading out on Finnair next. This is the last ticket I’ve booked myself. Everything ‘s been going smoothly so far, so I’m really glad. I’ll be reporting from Helsinki. I’m heading to Helsinki. The person boarding was the same person who told me I could go at the check-in counter. I was a little relieved. There was a bit of a dispute at the check-in counter about not having a visa, and I was worried about what would happen, but I got on the plane safely. I just checked in for the flight and saw the same person there, so I was a little happy. I’m looking forward to Finnair . I couldn’t reserve a seat this time, so unfortunately it wasn’t a window seat. I could see the ocean off the coast in the distance. Goodbye. Unfortunately, I ended up with an emergency exit seat, so I couldn’t put my luggage at my feet. I had to open all of my luggage upwards , and the only pocket I could use was this seat. I was told I’d be able to get it out once the plane was flying, but I had no choice, so I put it up. There’s actually quite a bit of legroom. I wonder if this is the only place I can go. It’s really spacious, and since I don’t fly here often, the window seat was open. I was super lucky. Finnair already charges for seat reservations, so it was a bit of luck, but I’m happy. I managed to get a window seat. I’m looking forward to it. Yoron Island and Okinawa are no less impressive, but overseas, the buildings are also important, so it was a fun experience with the atmosphere. So, what did you think of the video about Nice, France ? I hope it’s useful for those who are planning a trip in the future . I’m heading to Helsinki next, and I hope to see you in the next video.
