今回は、都電荒川線沿線の妙行寺近くから西巣鴨の街を午前中に歩きました。
国道17号を隔てた西ヶ原よりのエリアからスタートし、静かな住宅街を抜け、良感寺・善養寺・妙行寺といった歴史ある寺院を通ってます。
その後、国道17号を渡り、新庚申塚駅周辺を通過して西巣鴨2丁目・1丁目方面へ歩きました。

This time we walked in the morning from near Myokoji Temple along the Toden Arakawa Line to the Nishi-Sugamo area.
We started from the Nishigahara area across Route 17, passing through a quiet residential area and passing historic temples such as Ryokanji, Zenyoji, and Myokoji.
We then crossed Route 17 and walked toward Nishi-Sugamo 2-chome and 1-chome, passing around Shinkoshinzuka Station.

Nishi-Sugamo is a quiet residential area near the border of Toshima and Kita wards.
Along the Toden Arakawa Line, there remain old temples and downtown alleyways.

The area around Shinkoshinzuka Station is adjacent to the Sugamo area and offers a charming townscape with a mix of lifestyle and history.
