【柳川観光】王道コースの柳川川下り日帰り観光で過去を振り返る Amazing boat ride in Yanagawa/Trip from Fukuoka City
The first owner of Yanagawa Castle, Tachibana Muneshige and two other relatives, were enshrined at the Mihashira (Three Pillars) Shrine. It takes about 50 minutes to go from Tenjin Station in Fukuoka to Yanagawa via the Nishitetsu Line. Sometimes, snakes swim here and try to board the tour boats. So exciting! We can see the stairs that people used to get water for their daily use. The city has about 25 restaurants that serve the famous local eel dish. This memorial is for eels that went into our stomaches. Every February, the city dries the moats to clean them. These boat rides then become really short, so I recommend avoiding February trips. If you are lucky, you’ll be able to see newly-wed couples and their relatives taking parade boats from this shrine pier. This is a statue representing a children’s song, “Machiboke.” This dude is taking boats to the tour starting point. “Thank you very much!” This wonderful Japanese garden is meant to be viewed from the Grand Hall. If you order a drink at the entrance, it will be delivered to you at the Grand Hall. These hanging decorations are must-haves for Yanagawa’s Girl’s Day. “Sagemon” means “something hanging” in the local dialect. When I was a junior high and high school student, I used to come here by myself very often. My favorite place at the house is this tiny garden. I would sit here for a long time and listen to a garden-sound device called “Shishi-odoashi.” Kitahara Hakushu is known for his poetry and his lyrics for children’s songs. For example, “Amerfuri” and “Pechka” are popular songs, and I grew up with them. His songs, “Karatachi no hana” (Flowers of Karatachi) and “Konomichi” (This road), are also popular. This is a karatachi tree at his house. There’s a new museum behind the house, so you should check it out. Today, we explored Yanagawa City, where the people and the water are deeply connected. どんこ下りでみた柳川高校近くのオノ、ヨ－コ生家（祖父宅）は平屋の日本瓦葺きのどっしりした家でした。過去形
白秋好きですねえ。
白秋の思い出に出てくる六騎その言葉にちなんで沖の端にある民芸茶屋六騎は鰻のせいろ蒸しで有名ですよ。
そして山田耕筰作曲白秋作詞の六騎は声楽でよく歌われる歌曲です。難しい曲ですが！
因みに六騎は六人の馬に乗った平家の落武者の事です。
何かねぇ柳川も白秋も好きすぎてもうどうにも止まらない🎵
どんこ下りの最終舟着き場御花の前の堀割昔はとっても風情があり其処の雰囲気がとても好きでした。
白秋（思い出）のなかの水郷柳河わが生い立ち是非読んで下さい。
博多を訪れる度によく立ち寄った柳川かくも懐かしいものだと思い知りました。懐かしい思い出を有り難う御座いました。
柳川をはじめて訪れた日からもはや５０年の歳月が流れました。実に感慨深い歳月です。
