【京都旅#1】嵐山から始まる大人の京都観光王道モデルコース 京都らしいグルメも満載!
Kyoto 1 night 2 day trip #1 to visit classic sightseeing spots. I don’t know how long it’s been this time. We will visit famous tourist spots. Sometimes I only go to one tourist spot. I don’t know how long it’s been since I visited Kyoto in 2 days and 1 night (^^). I’m looking forward to my first trip to Kyoto in a while. First, let’s take a walk around Arashiyama (^^). The autumn leaves are almost here. Walking from Hankyu Arashiyama Station. There is Nakanoshima Bridge. The scenery seen from here gives me a nostalgic feeling of Japan. I can’t help but stop. It is a calming scenery. Arrived at Arashiyama Park. You can see the Katsuragawa River in front of you. During the cherry blossom season, this area is also in full bloom. Togetsukyo Bridge also came into view. When you walk all the way here, you really feel like you’ve come to Arashiyama (^^). The view from here is beautiful no matter how many times you see it (^^). The bridge currently in use is said to have been completed in June 1934. That is! . Long line! . % ARABICA Kyoto is a famous cafe. It’s very popular in the morning (゚o゚;. From now on, I’m going to have breakfast. The cafe I’m going to is also very popular, so let’s hope it’s empty. Yoshimura, who is famous for soba, is also a very popular restaurant. .No matter when I go, there’s a huge line. What’s that!? I think it’s probably the ship headed for Hoshinoya.Maybe the coloring is different. You can see various idyllic scenery.Arrival.A cafe where you can have breakfast . Bread, espresso and Arashiyama Garden. Good atmosphere ( ¨̮ ). Bread, espresso and Arashiyama Garden About 15 minutes walk from Hankyu Arashiyama Line Arashiyama Station Business hours Cafe : 8:00-18:00 (LO 17:00) Irregular holidays. Approximately 5 minutes walk from Randen Arashiyama Station. The building is 210 years old and is designated as a tangible cultural property by Kyoto Prefecture. It is a renovated “former Kobayashi family residence”. Come inside. It has a nice atmosphere! Thatched roof! The building alone is worth seeing. I wonder if it’s empty. Looks delicious ! I came early in the morning, so I was able to sit down without lining up (^^♪. When I looked up, I saw a very nice beam. Edo period It has the style of an old folk house from the late period. That area was very stylish. I wonder if it was decorated with a hanten. The stove ! It’s a bright vermilion stove. I also saw it at the Akafuku main store in Ise. There seems to be a menu. This area is a set menu.It ends as soon as it is sold out.The popular matcha French toast is available from 2pm.And there is a plate set. This also ends as soon as it is sold out.Drinks in the set are There are various options, and you can order other drinks for 100 or 200 yen.The drinks are like this. All orders are made using the QR code.First, the cafe latte arrived.Egg sandwich set 1500 yen.In Kyoto I chose this set because I had an image of an egg sandwich (^^).Egg sandwich with camembert cheese.Prosciutto with mortadella ham.Salad and granola set.It would be a shame to ruin the latte art. It’s packed with eggs . It’s packed (^^). The surface of the bread is baked to a crispy texture. When I ate it, the inside of the bread was fluffy and moist. There’s no denying that the bread is in the store’s name (^^) .There was an overwhelming amount of eggs, probably because the inside of the bread was hollowed out.The eggs had a light texture. The other cheeses and ham had a strong taste.Perhaps it was balanced with the egg sandwich. I don’t know. The cafe latte was delicious, with rich milk and a slightly sweet taste. It didn’t feel like the coffee was that strong. The display taste was also outstanding. The egg sandwich is very popular and seems to sell out quickly. I’m glad I was able to eat it (^^). I didn’t notice it when I arrived. There was a system for reception. Next, we will head to Tenryuji Temple. It is about a 3 minute walk from here to Tenryuji Temple. Almost there! . It’s still early in the morning, so it doesn’t seem that crowded. Now let’s go inside. There is an admission fee. Just the garden costs 500 yen for high school students and above. A set of various halls (Daihojo, Shoin, Tahoden) costs 800 yen. Take off your shoes here and enter. It’s mysterious and powerful. It was drawn by the chief priest of Tenryuji Temple. Let’s go see the garden. You can get this part for a set price of 800 yen. Wow. Nice view. This garden is registered as a world cultural heritage site. There is also a cloud dragon map here. From here, it’s a step higher, so you can see the whole thing. There aren’t many people paying 800 yen, so it’s empty. Let’s go look to the back. There is Tahoden in the back. There is also a babbling river around here. Beautiful scenery is spreading. Nice atmosphere (^^). We have arrived at Tahoden. A statue of Emperor Go-Daigo is enshrined in Tahoden. In spring, the weeping cherry blossoms in the front garden were in full bloom and it was very beautiful (^^). Let’s go back and go down. I came down. If you look at it from close up, it looks different. Most of the people who come here are foreigners. Let’s go deeper. Tahoden from earlier. Various flowers are blooming from this area and it is a sight to see. The leaves were gradually turning red. That’s pretty much it for now. From now on, go through the north gate of Tenryuji Temple. Head to the bamboo forest path. It’s a bamboo forest from around here. This is the north gate. I have a feeling that he will be an amazing person. amazing! It’s about as crowded as New Year’s visit. The bamboo forest path passes through the north gate of Tenryuji Temple. This is a approximately 400 meter road that leads to Okochi Sanso. It is said that it was a villa area for aristocrats during the Heian period. When you come here in the summer, it feels quite cool. The sunlight filtering through the trees feels great! . It’s only 10 o’clock. It was very crowded. Next, we will head to Jojakkoji Temple. On the way, I saw a trolley train station. I would like to ride it for just one section. Whoa. There was a big lotus pond. Summer is so beautiful, isn’t it? From here it is a 4 minute walk to Jojakkoji Temple. There is a cafe along the way where a doll artist works. The scenery looks like something out of a picture book. We have arrived. This is a Sanmon gate made in the late Edo period, made of thick square timbers arranged in a lattice. The entrance fee is 500 yen. let’s go. Jojakko-ji Temple has moss and over 200 maple trees on its grounds. When the leaves turn red, the contrast of colors is so beautiful. You can see this kind of scenery during the autumn leaves season. And then there is the Niomon gate with its thatched roof. Waraji are dedicated to the left and right. There are stone stairs after passing through the gate. This is a hard mode with a fairly steep slope. However, there is beautiful moss growing next to the stone steps. It’s fun to climb while observing (^^). The main shrine came into view. When I look back, I realize that I have climbed quite a few stone steps. The view from here looks beautiful during the autumn leaves season. The main hall is also very splendid. It is said to have been relocated from the guest hall of Fushimi Castle. There is a place where you can see a panoramic view of Sagano, so let’s go there. From here, it feels like you’re climbing a mountain. Along the way is the Tahoto Pagoda, an important cultural property. It is a beautiful, well-proportioned tower with a total height of about 12 meters. Although it is not open to the public, Shakyamuni Buddha and Tahobutsu are enshrined here. We will soon reach the top observation deck. It’s a tough journey for old men… We have arrived. From here, you can overlook the entire Sagano area. It was worth the effort to climb up. I felt refreshed (^^). Go down. I went down to the bottom. This is a place you definitely want to visit during the autumn foliage season. Next, I’ll go to a store specializing in eggs. Rakugakisha was visible in front of me. Let’s walk past. Oh, persimmon! . There is only Rakakisha (^^). I went here a long time ago, and it was a nice place with a nice atmosphere. Specialty egg specialty store Tamagoya 7 minutes walk from Torokko Arashiyama Station 10:30-16:00 Closed on Wednesdays. As for the location of the shop. It is about a 6 minute walk from Jojakkoji Temple. There are many things you can eat while you have a break. Whoa. Curry and rice too! . The shop looked like a tea shop on a mountain pass. I bought some red radish. Also, the iced coffee was 300 yen. Ninuki is a word that means boiled egg in the Kansai region. In kanji, it is written as “boiled.” Red ninuki was 100 yen each. Easy to peel! . The shell was easy to peel. If you try to cut it open. The yolk was reddish in color. Sprinkle with salt. delicious ). It’s a little harder than half-boiled and has an exquisite texture! . It has a rich flavor and a nice moist texture (^^♪. The staff also like to talk. I was able to ask various things about Sagano. It was a perfect restaurant to take a short break in Sagano. Next time. Let’s go see the trolley train. There aren’t many tourists in this area. You can take a leisurely stroll. The trolley arrives at Arashiyama Station. I’d like to take a ride just for the section to Saga Station. The station building also has a retro feel. .From here to Saga Station, it seems like it’s only a 3 minute ride on the JR line.I’m just running through a residential area, so I’ll stop. This is what it looked like when I used to ride during the autumn leaves season.Seeing the Hozugawa River I remember how beautiful it was.The fare is a flat rate of 880 yen for adults regardless of the boarding section. They stop along the way and have time for photos. You can also make reservations, but they are almost full. You can also buy tickets on the day at each of our stations. There is a limited number of tickets sold on the day. Walk back to the center of Arashiyama. The bamboo forest path is beautiful. The bamboo grows straight. Center I returned to the area. Now I’m heading to the lunch spot I reserved. Is this a popular photo spot for foreigners? We’ve arrived. Since it’s Arashiyama, I had boiled tofu for lunch. Nishiyama This is Seizan Sodo. It is the oldest tofu shop in Sagano, located inside the sub-temple of Arashiyama Tenryuji Temple, “Myochi-in.” As for the location of the shop. It is right across from Randen Arashiyama Station. I chose this place . The reason for this is that you can make a reservation. When it comes to lunch in Arashiyama, you have to line up quite a bit to get in.It’s a little pricey, but I chose this place. The hot tofu set meal is 3850 yen.Let ‘s go.Nishiyama Close to Sodo Arashiyama Station (Keifuku) Business Hours: 11:30 – Closed as soon as tofu runs out Closed Wednesdays Irregularly closed once a month. After checking in, head to the main entrance. The garden is also well- maintained . It’s worth seeing. There are also trees with beautiful autumn leaves. The inside of the restaurant has a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Time seemed to pass slowly here. It’s full of Kyoto characteristics. Lunch in this atmosphere is I’m getting excited (^^). The hot tea is delicious (^^). The food has been brought out. Sesame tofu. Hiryuzu. Yasun . Deep- fried vegetables. Rice, pickled vegetables. And boiled tofu. Medium It’s simple with just kelp.Hassun was eggplant dengaku, tofu sushi, and chestnut kinton. All of them were lightly seasoned and delicious. The sesame tofu was served with grated ginger. It also has a rich sesame flavor. It had a sticky texture. The flying dragon head. It is fried with a mixture of mashed tofu and grated yam. There is also a lily root inside and it is elaborate. There was also ginkgo in it. The seasoning is light. You can feel the flavor of each ingredient. Deep-fried vegetables. There were yams wrapped in seaweed, yuba, and shishito peppers. I think the other dish was tofu. The fried yam was especially delicious. Next, prepare the main sauce for the boiled tofu. The tofu is Saga tofu. This is tofu made by Moriyoshi in Sagano, Kyoto. It is said to have been introduced in the works of Yasunari Kawabata and Ryotaro Shiba. The texture is smooth, chewy and slippery. You can also feel the flavor of soybeans. It has a slight sweetness and is very delicious (^^). The sauce wasn’t too strong and I could really feel the flavor of the tofu. The tofu is also large and quite filling. Sesame tofu, Hiryuzu, Hassun, vegetable vegetarian fried rice, and pickled vegetables. I was pretty full (^^). What is it like to eat boiled tofu in an elegant atmosphere? It was very good and most like Arashiyama. It was a very satisfying lunch where I was able to enjoy the luxurious boiled tofu course (^^). You can make reservations from one month in advance. I recommend making a reservation. The atmosphere around here is also great (^^). This entrance is closer to Arashiyama Station. When I arrived at Arashiyama Station, the silence from earlier seemed to be a lie. I came to Sanshoryuen, which is right next to the boiled tofu shop I mentioned earlier. This is a spot where many long-established stores that represent Kyoto are gathered. There’s a sweets shop I’ve been wanting to try, so let’s go there (¨̮). Honke Nishio Yatsuhashi Arashiyama Store Close to Arashiyama Station (Keifuku) Business hours: 10:00-17:00 Open every day on regular holidays. I was curious about the soft serve ice cream made by Honke Nishio Yatsuhashi. This Kyo Matcha Premium looks good (^^). There are also various other soft serve ice creams. There is a food court with 100 seats in the garden courtyard. There are benches that are typical of Kyoto. Kyo Matcha Premium 500 yen. looks delicious ). The grilled Yatsuhashi is sticking out (^^). Matcha powder is also sprinkled on top. delicious! . It doesn’t have the richness of milk though. You can really taste the matcha. It was also nice that Yatsuhashi could be used instead of a spoon (^^). Arashiyama is so crowded that there aren’t many places to sit and take a break. This food court-like place was really nice. I will now head to the hotel. The hotel we will be staying at today is near Karasuma Oike. Take the Randen train to Shijo Omiya. cool! . The retro feel is always good to see (^^). The fare is the same for all lines and is 250 yen for adults. Arrived at Shijo Omiya Station. It took about 25 minutes from Arashiyama Station to Shijo Omiya Station. From now on, I’m going to go see Nishiki Market for the first time in a while. It takes 20 minutes on foot from here. It takes about 9 minutes by train from Hankyu Omiya Station to Karasuma Station. On the way there was Shijo Horikawa’s rain garden. A splendid Kifune stone. It’s fun to go around and see things like this. I arrived at Karasuma Station. From here, it’s just a short walk to Nishiki Market. I can see it! . You can see that it’s very crowded from here. The three-colored panels affixed to the ceiling of the arcade. Not only does it protect the food from sunlight, but even when the light shines on it, the color does not appear on the food. It seems that it also has the effect of making it look delicious. Is this an oyster shop? Delicious-looking oysters are lined up. There are oysters from various origins. There is an eat-in space inside the store. Oysters start at 430 yen each. It’s 1360 yen for 3 types. The store was quite crowded and there was a wait. This day was a weekday. It was quite crowded with people. It’s been a while since I came here. It was full of seafood restaurants. There are many eat-in restaurants and shops. Ochanoko Saisai Nishiki store Nishiki market business hours 10:00-18:00 Open every day. I came here to buy something delicious that I ate in the past. At the store, they will create an original combination to suit your taste. “Shichimi” is also on sale. This this! . It’s a common chili oil furikake. There is also Kujo green onion inside. It has a lot of sesame seeds. Oh, try it! . The spiciness is mild, not the harsh type. Let’s buy this and take it home (^^). This store also has a full tasting corner. This shop is famous for its Maiko Hanhii series. The world’s spiciest dish! . I want to go home early and eat it with rice (^^). The walking speed was quite slow. Crab galore (゚O゚). It seems that each one costs 400 yen. You can choose broiled or tempura. The grilled food looks delicious! . Shrimp tempura! . The next shop also sold shrimp tempura (¨̮). Shrimp tempura was 400 yen. There’s hamoten too! . Various types of seafood are also sold. The eat-in space was full of foreigners. This store had quite a variety. The last time I ate it, the cod milt was really delicious (^^). Business hours in Miki Toyomanishiki Market: 9:00 – 17:00 Irregular holidays. This is a dashimaki egg specialty store founded in 1928 in Nishiki Market. This place is famous for its dashimaki. I recommend the egg pudding. Free-range eggs are used. Because I use good quality eggs. It’s rich, creamy, and delicious (^^). I’m about to head to the hotel. The person staying here today is nol. I stayed there once before and it was great. I made a reservation in a different room. Arrived at the hotel. Another reason why I chose this hotel. I wanted to take a bath in this cypress leaf bathtub. It’s a nice hotel where you can drink as much sake as you like (^^). I’ll take a short break before heading out. From now on, I will head towards Kyoto Station. Use the subway to get to Kyoto Station. From here, it is a 6-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Subway Station. There was an Ace Hotel that I would like to stay at at least once on the way. I came to Shinpūkan, where Karasuma-Oike Station is located. This is a brick commercial complex that was formerly the Kyoto Central Telephone Bureau. Stylish atmosphere (¨̮). If you go down the stairs ahead, you will reach the station. The garden here always soothes me. When I arrive at Kyoto Station, I will go for dinner first. For dinner, we will go to Hatate-san, a Japanese restaurant run by Ryotei. Hatate-san is located inside Eat Paradise in front of the JR west exit ticket gate. Hatate Isetan Annex “Eat Paradise” 3rd floor 11:00-22:00 (LO 21:00) Open all year round. arrival! . There was a ticket machine waiting in line. It was still 6:00pm, so there were two groups waiting. As for the menu. It’s a Japanese restaurant that serves rice bowls and boiled noodles. The main dish is a rice bowl set. There are various sets that come with boiled noodles, rice bowls, and one dish. I did this today ( ¨̮ ). Golden sea bream set 2937 yen. looks delicious! . Grilled golden sea bream, squid, and cod roe bowl. Golden sea bream Tatsuta fried boiled noodles. Koya tofu and spinach dip. It came with pickles. Adding sansho and soy sauce seems to enhance the flavor. First, let’s have the golden sea bream. delicious! . It has a very elegant taste. It’s roasted so it has a nice aroma. Pickles for a little accent. The pickles also had an elegant taste (^^). Tarako also came out. It’s an elegant bowl, but it would have tasted better if it had been stirred. It’s boiled noodles. The golden sea bream in it is very large. Although it is noodles, it is served with a warm soup stock that has a gentle taste. You can eat it smoothly. It’s a classy and mildly flavored soup stock. Mixing it with the oil from Tatsuta-age makes it a better seasoning. delicious! . The golden sea bream is also large and the noodles are very luxurious. The key point is that it’s fried, and you can also feel the flavor of the fat. Pickles are useful when you want a little accent (^^). This is where the Japanese pepper soy sauce comes into play. delicious! . With a tangy taste. Adds the scent of Japanese pepper. It turned out to be a completely different type of boiled noodles. Let’s try this too. delicious! . When I added sansho and soy sauce, it became a completely different bowl (^^). It was a pretty voluminous set. I was able to complete the meal with the elegant seasoning and Japanese pepper soy sauce (^^). I was very satisfied with the deliciousness that lived up to its reputation (^-^)/. Next I will go to Kyoto Tower. I wanted to buy a one-day subway and bus ticket for tomorrow, but they were sold out. Kyoto Tower seen from below is also beautiful (^^). There is a ticket office on the first floor. The price is 900 yen for adults. Advance tickets at the online store are 850 yen. The observation room is said to be 100 meters above the ground. First, go to the observation deck elevator platform. Inside the elevator, there was an explanation about Kyoto Tower. Arrived at the observation room. There were far more people than I expected. Looking down, you can see Kyoto Station. I was also able to see Toji Temple lit up. When you look down, you can feel how tall it is. I was also able to see the autumn illumination of Shosei-en Garden. Telescopes are free to use. The observation room can accommodate around 400 people. There is also a tourist information touch panel. You can search for information on tourist attractions. The observation deck is the highest in Kyoto city at 100 meters above ground. It is the best place from where you can see the entire city of Kyoto. There is also an observation room at the bottom, so let’s go there. The first floor below was quite empty. Because I’m always looking up. It was great to be able to see the entire city of Kyoto from the top. Let’s go down. You were up there just now, weren’t you? Next, let’s go to a place with beautiful illuminations. The inside of Kyoto Station is also beautiful (^^). Oh! . beautiful. It’s been a while since I saw it. It’s so beautiful ( ¨̮ ). Is this the autumn leaves version? Approximately 15,000 LEDs are used. I tried to get to the top. There are spots where you can see Kyoto Tower beautifully, so let’s go there. There are still many places to see illuminations at Kyoto Station. (7F East Plaza) projection mapping. There is a 10F aerial route, etc. I came to the 10F aerial route. beautiful. The Aerial Pathway is a glass-walled passageway that spans 45 meters above the ground. There is also a space in the middle where you can see Kyoto Tower. beautiful. Everything in this area is free, so it’s a recommended spot (^^). I came to the east plaza on the 7th floor. This area will be the venue for projection mapping. Above you can see the aerial route you just took. You can also see the graphical illumination Plus that you saw first. The illumination at Kyoto Station is a highly recommended spot (^^). Then we’ll go back to the hotel. Thank you for watching this far. The next Kyoto VLOG will be Kinkakuji, Higashiyama, etc. See you in the next video! .
