Riding the World’s Tiniest Sea Train | Korea Solo Train Travel
Today we take a train journey to the east of Korea. There, you will find the world’s smallest sea train. Now, let’s start our amazing train trip in Korea. I arrived at Cheongnyangni Station at dawn to leave for my trip. Here you can catch trains heading east to Korea. You need to take the ‘KTX-Eum’ train that departs at 7:16. The train is waiting. Let’s board it. The ‘KTX-Eum’ train is a high-speed train made in Korea. It resembles a blue snake. Its speed is 260 km/h. Let’s take a look at the seats. Two people share one window. There are also curtains. There are wireless chargers at each seat. There are also outlets. Bag hangers Desks where you can put your things. Lighting You can also turn the chair. This is a regular room, but there is also a premium room. Let’s take a look. Premium rooms are 20% more expensive than regular rooms. They say the seats are wider apart. There is also a TV. You can watch YouTube. It’s a bit choppy. By the way, there is also a bathroom in the hallway. It’s clean. There are also vending machines. You can only buy with cards. This time, let’s look out the window. After about an hour, the ocean appears. We’ve already reached the eastern end of Korea. Now let’s get off. After about 2 hours from Cheongnyangni Station, I arrived at Donghae Station. Here you have to transfer to the next train. I get on at platform 2. The train comes in. But this train comes from platform 3. You shouldn’t get on it. It’s the ‘ITX-Maum’ Train and I’m planning to take it on my way home. The next train, which looks cute, comes in. This train is the Nuriro. It runs along the eastern sea of Korea. It’s about twice as cheap as the ‘KTX-Eum’. Let’s board. But it has everything. [Bathroom] [Nursing room] [Chair can be rotated] [Shelf for storing luggage] [Outlet] [Small desk] [Chair can be laid back] Now, we’ll go to our destination while enjoying the scenery outside. It’s time to get off. Let’s get off. After riding the Nuriro for about 1 hours, we arrived at Jukbyeon Station. Now, let’s start our journey in earnest. Get out of the station and walk for about 10 minutes. You should go in the direction of the arrow. As I followed the road, the beautiful East Sea of Korea came into view. A different kind of beautiful scenery than when I saw it from the train. I kept walking along the sea. [Beware of dogs] You have to be very careful. The dog’s name is Chorong. Sorry This is a peaceful scenery of a Korean rural village. Now, I’ll stop bothering the dogs. As we continue along the road, we come to a port. This is Jukbyeon Port. It is famous as the largest crab catching port in Korea. In Korea, crab is considered a gourmet dish. So we don’t eat it often because it’s expensive. So we eat a lot of cheap fish. If you continue along the road from Uljin Port, you will come to your first destination. The gray building you see in front is your first destination. Let’s go in. I will submit the ticket I reserved in advance. As I went up, a cute blue train appeared. This train is the world’s smallest sea train. It’s my turn to board. Let’s board. This train is the ‘Jukbyeon Coast Sky Rail’. Up to 4 people can ride. The train is small, so you can see the sea with a 360-degree panoramic view. Isn’t the color of the sea so beautiful? The price is 25 USD for 4 people. It’s about 6.50 USD per person. Beautiful scenery of the East Sea of Korea The course is 2.8km round trip. It takes 40 minutes to make one full circle. We arrived at the last stop. The train turns around and returns to the first stop we boarded. There are many birds. We have already made one full circle and arrived at the first stop. Now we are moving on to the next destination. I walked for about 10 minutes and arrived at downtown Jukbyeon. I took bus number 101 at Jukbyeon bus stop. I took the bus for about 10 minutes and got off at the Marine Science Museum stop. From here, if you walk for just 1 minute, you will reach your next destination. The huge building you see in front is the National Museum of Marine Science. From here, you can go towards the sea. As you follow the road, you will come across a deck road that extends into the sea. This is the longest sea passage in Korea, the Badamajung-gil. The view of the East Sea from here is truly the best. But if you go to the end of the road, you will find a more mysterious secret place. Shall we go and take a look? As I approached, a round building that looked like a UFO appeared. I took the elevator and went down 7 meters into the sea. When the elevator door opened,
I saw the blue seascape. As I approached the window, I saw various sea creatures. [Sea urchins] ? A lot of fish ? There’s also a telescope. It’s more fun because the admission fee is free. There’s an observatory on the ground, not underground. Let’s go up. It’s a low observatory with only two floors. But the view is really great. Now let’s take a look at the National Museum of Ocean Science. There is also a magical playground. I want to go in and play too. Enter the science museum. This is literally a science museum where you can see the mysteries of the ocean. It was only built 5 years ago. So there are a lot of magical things to see. It would be great to come with kids. Just press it Crab robot Round and round This trip ends with the National Maritime Museum. When I went back home, I took a call taxi. Arrived at Jukbyeon Station again. This time, I took the new train, the ITX- Maum. It is more expensive than Nuriro but cheaper than KTX-Eum. I recharge. Fantastic view Arrived at Donghae Station again. Here, I took the KTX Ieum and went to Cheongnyangni Station. This was Happy Solo Travel. I will visit you again for a more fun travel destination.
