Salaryman TOP GUN in Australia
A once-in-a-lifetime trip to fulfill a once-in-a-lifetime dream
I flew on a jet fighter plane for more than 100,000 yen! What were your dreams as a child? pilot A boy grows up and encounters a film. It was… TOP GUN MAVERICK He became an ordinary office worker and went to a place on his day off. He flew to Australia to fulfill a once-in-a-lifetime dream. We drove several hundred kilometers in a rental car to one of the airports near Sydney. He grabbed 1300 AUD (about $130,000) to fly a jet fighter and be the Best Guy! Today, I am accompanying my friend, the captain, on a valuable experience! He is going to do a Bucket List. An ordinary office worker rides in a jet plane (fighter plane) of his dreams. How do you feel now, flying monkeys? That’s Major Yashiki style calling second lieutenant Hideo Kajiya of Best Guy. LOL! Well then, Pete Mitchell, are you feeling great? You call Maverick by his real name, are you going to call him Charlie or Penny? LOL! How did you get to fly the fighter plane of your dreams? He researched the Internet for places around the world where he could ride in jet fighters, and e-mailed around asking. (The following is a summary.)
Russia: Mig-29, Su-27, about 1.5 to 3 million yen.
U.S. L-39, T-33, etc.: 600,000-1,000,000 yen.
Europe: L-39, T-33, etc., 700,000-1,000,000 yen.
South Africa Buccaneer: unknown.
New Zealand L-39: 300,000-600,000 yen.
Australia L-39: 150,000-600,000 yen. I really wanted to go to the stratosphere on a Mig-29 in Russia, but it is not possible now.
In the past, they used to be able to fly Phantom and Draken in the U.S. Is it dangerous to fly fighter planes? Can I get insurance? There are some overseas travel insurance policies that cover mountain climbing and flight training, but they are expensive (e.g., more than 10 times more expensive) and therefore not covered in this case. GOKU-san, are you afraid of flying a fighter plane? LOL “I’m developing an overcoming spirit to conquer fear…” (Best Guy style) After a three-hour drive from Sydney on the highway, we finally arrived at the airport! I was so scared because it was my first time driving in Australia. LOL! Australia has wide roads and is very friendly to driving. Not only are the prices low, but there are more than 10 places in Australia where you can ride in a fighter jet. The weather is nice, the temperature is not too high, and today is a great day for flying. Don’t you want to fly? That is if you are in the Iron Eagle during the Snake Race. Doug, that’s Masters’ line. But I still call him Mr. GOKU! LOL! The airport is in sight. “I’m on my feet! Oh, my God! Oh no. Even if I say Goose’s line, I will call him GOKU today. LOL! We arrived at Bathurst Airport, a suburb of Sydney. At the time, the Fly Pelican Jetstream 32 was in operation. They do not have it now. Let’s see… where is the fighter jet office? A little late. Support us by subscribing to our channel! This is First Jet Adventure Flight, who will be taking care of you today. Briefing on emergency egress, etc., which I had learned about in advance materials. Borrowed a flight suit and off we go! Kyaaaah, the flight suit is so cool! What is this? This is amazing! There are all kinds of aircraft that I have never seen before! Ah! That’s the L-39 Albatross, the jet fighter that flies today. Hey, GOKU’s name tag is now Maverick! L-39 Albatross (Abacus).
The L-39 Albatros is a trainer and light attack aircraft manufactured in former Czechoslovakia. 2,800 aircraft were produced from 1971 and deployed mainly in Eastern European countries.
Engine: One Iuchenko AI-25 (1,720 kg thrust). Armament: 23mm machine gun and 4 pylons on some aircraft. Short-range air-to-air missiles R-3/R-13/R-60. Maximum speed: 405 kt (750 km/h), Mach number limit: M0.8. Range: 944 nm (1,748 km). Crew: 2. It is famous for its use by the “Breitling Jet Team” in acrobatic flights. It is currently the most used jet fighter in civil aviation worldwide. A towing tractor is used to take the L-39 aircraft out to the taxiway. Mr. GOKU was so moved that he shuddered at the time! So this hanger was a maintenance center. We will now board the L-39 Albatross. We are being instructed on how to climb up to the canopy. He~. Pilot/owner/mechanic Charlie is on board. Charlie-san climbs up easily. He is a very kind man. I didn’t know there was a place to put my foot in to open it! Sorry for the much hemming and hawing. LOL. When I got in, I didn’t know that you put your right foot in the middle of the seat. I rode carefully not to kick off any instruments or switches. GOKU also has experience flying with Pitts S2-B. He is a senior of Mr. Muroya’s one of the Red Bull Air Race. Seat belts, canopy open/close, and emergency escape levers were checked. They act cheerful, but the cockpit is more and more closed and scary. Practice making the confirmation sign with your hand is also done at the briefing. Ifchenco AI-25TL turbofan engine start! The sound of a jet engine starting up is moe to hear again and again. The L-39’s engine was made in Ukraine! The engine is started and various checks are performed. I will show you from a pilot’s point of view. Other than the turbine engine instrumentation, it is not much different from a Cessna or other aircraft. It is an analog instrument, but the warning lights are cool~. Nasamin is taking pictures from outside. Output is rising. Moe, moe, cun, cun 💖. Since it is a double-seat aircraft, it can be piloted from such a vantage point in the rear seat. Enjoy the engine start of the L-39 from my camera outside. L-39 Albatross Cool, and I want it! Captain Charlie owns one L-29 and two L-39s. I am really jealous. I hear the L-29 is in the Reno air race. They have offices in the US and Australia. Nice! The aircraft is being checked by the person on the ground and the captain. Check the flaps. Check air brakes. Oops~~ and it worked. Check brakes Oh, it’s gone. Have Nice Flight! I was so impressed to see the engine start and taxiing at such a close distance 💖. So many twin-engine planes. Australian airports are so free! Wow, amazing dust! That’s a jet engine. Now we bring you the L-39 in taxi from inside the cockpit. Still, I wonder why there are so many twin-engine planes, is it because Australia is a big country? Today the aircraft will take off from runway 35. Speaking of fighter planes, is takeoff still a high-rate climb? GOKU There was a small grasshopper inside the left side of the canopy … It doesn’t have an afterburner, so it’s a normal takeoff. LOL! The tower has instructed Taxi Into Potion an Hold. Now I will bring it to you from my external camera. How could you shoot in such a place and not get angry? LOL. “Hey, that sounds good,” said second lieutenant Hideo Kajitani of Best Guy fame. Rotation, positive climb! Next, we bring you from the cockpit. My first fighter plane takeoff experience. The captain, Charlie, asked me if I was okay. He kindly asked me, “Are you okay? Tension is maxed out by gripping the seatbelt to avoid switches. Calm down cougar, it’s a walk in the park (Top Gun Maverick style) Lifted off! As one would expect from a jet plane. The altitude is rising rapidly. Fighter planes also sway quite a bit in small increments under the influence of the wind, don’t they? Straight out of departure. Gs are suddenly applied in a high G steep turn. My feeling is that the G’s of a jet plane are heavier than those of a propeller plane. The moment you enter the turn, it feels like something heavy has fallen from the sky. Wow, I heard the sound of the engine of the aircraft with GUKU on L-39. There was a confirmation that everything was ok as we were starting the maneuver. This is the left aileron roll while ascending. And an aileron roll on the right. The opposite in a way is Hook Manuver. Aileron rolls are fun because they do not require G Right turn from left aileron roll. Hi-G turn with deep bank angle. The internal organs become heavier in this area and begin to gray out slightly. Finally, a blackout! The devil has fallen from the sky. Charlie is always gently concerned about your physical condition before a maneuver. The moment I entered the rapid ascent, I heard a wind noise I had never heard before. Vertical ascent and during Immelmann turn. Wow, I’ve reversed. Blood rushes to my head. Perhaps because I didn’t get much sleep yesterday, it got dark around me during the rapid ascent. It will enter the loop after a slow descent to build up speed. This is my first time doing a loop in a jet and the view is like the devil came from outer space! I am excited, but I am getting pretty sick at this point. The G’s are tight when you put it in the loop and when you put it back in the level. Turn left from level flight and continue the maneuver. It is a four-point roll after putting in a slight rise. The aileron roll is a technique that stops the aileron roll at each 90-degree angle, and the strain on the body is small. Move from the right aileron roll to the left turn. Iron Eagle’s Snake Race-style low-altitude flight The scene in the movie Iron Eagle where the bad kids race each other on motorcycles and in Cessnas. The scene in the movie Top Gun where they fly over the valley to lock on to the instructor. It is flying low on the Albatross. Amazing! Amazing! S-turn at low altitude at 90 degree angle. The vastness of Australia is perfect for flight training. The flight lasted about 30 minutes, but it was really a lot of fun. I feel like I’m flying about 500ft above ground at the lowest altitude. I almost blacked out during the flight, but this flight is bad! We entered the Snake Race-like valley at low altitude. The mountains and hills are so close. That’s right. The shadow of our plane is so visible on the ground. People driving by would be surprised to see fighter jets flying at low altitudes. True L-39 I bought Albatross and now I want to live in Australia. I was a little sickened by Charlie. I told him that the devil came down…. An etiquette bag is always available at the left front of the cockpit. At any rate, the next shot was taken from the cockpit. This is the view from the cockpit of the L-39. By the way, you usually have to fix the camera to take pictures in the cockpit. The camera cannot be taken out to avoid damaging the cabin during the maneuver. GOKU is also a pilot and has given us permission to do so. We are back at the airport. I wonder if they will return on the combat pitch. Bathurst Airport is close to training airspace and has low traffic. No way, you wouldn’t do a fly-by to the control tower, would you? LOL! Kya~ GOKU and the others have come down. I will shoot the landing scene from the cockpit, which is perfect. If you look closely at this helmet, it looks like a member of the Blue Impulse. The return trip was changed to runway 17. I am entering Left Down Wind. This camera is in left turn to download from the pilot’s point of view Enter the abeam number from mid-downwind. I really appreciate GUKU for taking such a nice flight 💖. Turning Left Base Runway 17 You can see the shadow of the plane on the ground. Now, let’s get to the final approach. By VFR, of course. If I had gotten a manual and studied the instrumentation, I might have enjoyed it more. This is Turning Final 17 from a fixed camera. Lower altitude, final approach. That’s the moment when pilots get nervous. Good luck Charlie! It seems to have overshot a little, but will soon return to its course. There were a few bumpy spots at lower altitudes. Throttle throttled. Nice landing! It’s a jet plane and there is no reverse, so it’s hard to stop! Some old fighter planes would not stop after landing, so some aircraft would open their parachutes. The fixed camera had landed with this view. We have come to the end and we are OFF The Runway17. Two action cameras did a great job. LOL! We hurry back to the hanger because we are wasting fuel and time. Did you check the after landing while taxidermy? GOKU and the others came down safely. Safety first! Eh! They also have a Soviet-made Mig! L-39 is back. Was it the best flight ever? After all, this is a once-in-a-lifetime flight. In fact, the G made me sick on the way there, and the sky darkened and the demons may have descended. But maybe next time I’d like to ride Dassault’s Alpha Jet! Then next time I have to go to Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. I was a bit cool at the end. Mr. GOKU was really very cool. I would like to ride it someday too! But it’s an impossible task. The last one is from my external camera. Awsome! Too cool! L-39! Chalked in. The engine also stopped easily. It eats fuel, you know. You can hang the headset on a pitot tube. Thank you so much Charlie for a wonderful flight. It was a lifetime memory for me. When the canopy is opened, it gestures to the ground personnel. Unfasten the four-point seatbelt and get out now. L-39 Albatross It was great! At the debriefing, we all had a cup of coffee and reviewed the flight. Why did you choose this place? I was sent a manual for boarding in advance. I was able to learn about the safety aspects and risks in advance. The pilot is a former mechanic in the Royal Australian Air Force. They competed in the famous Reno air race and were reliable. Many other companies did not even reply to my emails. Looking at their blog and social networking sites, Charlie and Tammy are the real Maverick and Penny! I decided to go for it. How was it? Salaryman Top Gun this time. It was really great to fly! It was a once in a life time experience. I have grown to love both Australia and Albatross 💖. A pig that can’t fly is just a pig. Hey, Mr. Porco Rosso. You!You are still dangerous.
You can be my wingman anytime ! Bullshit! You can be mine !! NASAMIN PLAZA
