Remember this blue sky, it’s the only one you’ll see in this day So beautiful! I couldn’t help but walk toward the lake The weather’s getting all cloudy now It’s getting windy It’s starting to sprinkle Everything feels so chill The veggie Auntie’s packing up her stall Before the big rain hits, we decided to grab lunch at this restaurant Right after we got in, it started raining hard here we ordered Hakka(客家) foods,
stuffed tofu and stir-fried goose waffles Just finished eating, and the rain stopped too. I’m lucky calling a ride and heading to the next spot Now, let’s dive into the charm of this traditional street I am going to Shuntang Road These old run-down houses are over 100 years old Almost no one lives here now found a second-hand shop I like this, and I bought I also bought these This street isn’t just home to old locals You’ll also find lots of little shops inside these renovated old houses This house is especially old This is the roof of a house from southern China over 100 years old, called a tile roof This building is type from before China’s reform and opening up a statue of a person from that era This is a tea-drinking building, called a tea house The artwork on the wall depicts the life of locals from 100 years ago I walked to another small community, It started raining again I’m waiting for the rain to stop here It was sunny in the morning, so I didn’t take an umbrella This place is called Wild Island This was once an abandoned area Now, a group of young cultural and creative designers is renovating this place difference between the abandoned state and the renovated one The buildings that are yet to be renovated A small relaxation room has been transformed inside this house This community is also pet-friendly The shop owner is not the owner of this cat The shop owners in this community have feeding stations for cats in front of their shops While renovating this abandoned community They also protect the cats living here A couple visiting here to tour, just like me I came to a bookstore This is a quiet and beautiful bookstore Let’s go inside and take a look They are drinking coffee here, read a book, enjoying their time this is a damaged wall in the house shop owner chose to repair and decorate it with acrylic blending it beautifully this is the bar area in the bookstore I ordered a drink and a cake I still prefer the string I’m wearing on my hand The weather has turned sunny, and the sun is going down Leaving Wild Island, it’s time to head back This is Babao’s Day in Huicheng District on June 30th If you enjoyed it, don’t forget to subscribe See you next time thank you for watching!
