【フェリー旅】寒すぎて凍える…東京九州フェリー「それいゆ」で 新門司→横須賀 21時間の船旅【旅行におすすめ】
On this cruise, we boarded the “Tokyo Kyushu Ferry Soreiyu” in the snow as we departed from Shin-Moji Port. The view of the sunrise is exceptional. There are lots of events on board! There’s a delicious restaurant on board 🍜 Let’s set sail Hello, thank you for always watching. This is JR Kokura Station in Fukuoka Prefecture. Today we will take the Tokyo Kyushu Ferry “Soreiyu” from Shin-Moji Port in Fukuoka Prefecture to Yokosuka Port in Kanagawa Prefecture for a 21-hour cruise . There is no charge from Kokura Station to Shin-Moji Port. You can travel by Shuttle Bus. Kokura Station ranks second in Fukuoka in terms of average number of passengers per day among JR Kyushu stations. The first place is Hakata Station, but as it is the next station, it is a very large station. The shuttle bus stop is on the way to Kokura Station’s north exit bus stop, and we meet the conductor of the Galaxy Express 999. The shuttle bus stop is so elaborately built that it really makes you feel like you’re there. Next to the conductor, who feels as though he is walking, is the Shinkansen exit.If you go further from the Shinkansen exit to the north exit, you will see Maetel sitting on a bench.Tetsuro is also standing next to them.If you look next to them, you will also see Captain Harlock.Compared to the south exit, where the imposing figure is very cool , there are fewer characters at the north exit. If you walk along the side and go down the stairs to the bus stop, you’ll arrive. It ‘s so close that it takes less than a minute’s walk from Kokura Station. The bus to Shin-Moji Port arrives on time. After boarding the bus, we leave Kokura Station. It takes about 40 minutes from Kokura Station to Shin-Moji Port.En route , we stop at JR Moji Station.Enjoying the night view of Kokura, the bus sways as we approach the port. More and more trucks are arriving at the Tokyo Kyushu Ferry Shin-Moji Port terminal, where we can see the Soreiyu we will be boarding today. We are happy to be able to see the Soreiyu from such a close distance.Passenger capacity: 268 passengers Total length: 222.5m Gross tonnage: 15, 515 tons Navigation speed: 28.3 knots Load capacity: Approximately 154 trucks/approximately 30 passenger cars Considering that the maximum length of the Sunflower series is just under 200 meters, it is a very large ferry that is suitable for connecting Kyushu and Tokyo.Let ‘s enter the terminalThe terminal is very cleanThe Tokyo Kyushu Ferry terminal is a three-story building with one floor. There is a model of “Soreiyu” and an information bulletin board vending machine Today, I have already downloaded the e-boarding ticket, so I went straight to the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor is mainly used as a waiting room.Although it is small, there is also a children’s space , so it is safe to bring children. On sale of powerful products, I bought a souvenir of Hakata-only rice noodles Apparently, I was the last customer of the day. After about 10 minutes, it was time to board the ship. I went up the escalator to the 3rd floor, showed my e-boarding ticket to the staff, and headed inside the ship. I boarded the ship safely under the guidance of a crew member. Tokyo Kyushu Ferry is famous for its very long corridor, “Soreiyu.” Floating ring monument to commemorate boarding This is the entrance hall Very luxurious decoration First, I went to the room I booked this time to put my luggage. I arrived in front of the room I booked this time . To my delight, I arrived in a corner room. The room I booked this time was “Tourist A.” Then, the usual room introduction. The mattress is thick. The pillows are a little thin, giving a soft impression . The appearance of the leg side Other than the pillow, the equipment other than the pillow is a quilt blanket and sheets. There is a ventilation fan on the wall . There is a small storage space on the leg side. There is a hanger, but there is no hanger. A handrail in case it shakes. A small box next to the pillow. A bed lamp outlet and a USB outlet on the small box. Curtains are roll type. Fixing method is magnetic . Don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of space, so be careful not to make your own bed.It ‘s a bit clumsy, but the bed is already made. The ceiling of the bed is low, so it might be a little difficult to make the bed… On the same floor, on the 5th floor, there’s a restaurant. The restaurant is open for late-night snacks at this time, but first of all, when you go up the stairs to the 6th floor above, there’s a man. Entrance to the Women’s Observation Bath After boarding the ship, I would like to take a bath, which is open until 1:30 AM , but before that I head to the observation deck.It ‘s very cold outside, so I prepared for the cold weather.Apparently , I’m the only one here.It ‘s snowing at the Shin-Mojiko Terminal, which I was at earlier , and it’s very cold… Part of the floor is transparent. Unfortunately, entry is prohibited from here onwards and we move again to the starboard side where the terminal is Departure scene inside The ship gradually moves away from the terminal Unable to bear the cold, I regret that I still lack the courage to go inside the ship… Here, I would like to introduce today’s cruise. We departed from Shinmoji Port at 11:55PM, sailed across the Pacific Ocean, and arrived at Yokosuka Port at 8:45PM the next day.It was a very long voyage of approximately 21 hours. On this day, we had dinner. Since I hadn’t eaten, I went to the restaurant for a late-night snack and ordered using a touch panel. Water and tea were self-service. The food I ordered arrived. The price was 1,000 yen. The fare was Tokyo Kyushu Ferry. Well then, I ‘ll have a feast. I’m already past the date. It was much more delicious than usual. The restaurant was more crowded than I expected. You pay by yourself. You can pay by credit card even on the ship. After dinner, head to the public bath on the 6th floor. Please note that you cannot take photos from here on.The concept of the public bath is “Spend a relaxing moment while looking out at the majestic ocean.” ” There are 11 washing areas for men and women. The locker rooms are also very clean and easy to use.The open-air bath that Tokyo Kyushu Ferry is proud of is equipped with a full-fledged sauna where you can feel the sea breeze and look at the scenery. In addition, there is a shower room that can be used 24 hours a day, so anyone can feel at ease.It is very comfortable and I took a long bath.It has already passed the date, and the inside of the ship that has just left the port is very nice. Facilities such as shops and information desks have already closed. It ‘s about time for me to go back to my room and get ready for bed. Tomorrow ‘s target wake-up time is 06:30 AM. Good night . Good morning . Even though I didn’t overslept, I’m still tired from my short sleep time. Now that the ship is sailing through the southern part of Shikoku , I take the elevator to the 6th floor. I prepare for the cold and head to the observation deck! It’s a shame that we can’t directly see the bow side of the ship as the sun rises in the east , but the reflection on the sea is still so beautiful. It ‘s hard to believe that we left the port last night in the snow.We had a blissful time enjoying the spectacular view of the blue sky. I was getting really cold, so I went back on board and took a rest in my room until breakfast, as the restaurant was n’t even open yet… When I woke up, it was already 10am… The restaurant had already closed for breakfast… For a change of pace, I went to the observation deck for a spectacular view! This is the second time today, but thanks to the warm sunlight, it doesn’t feel as cold as it did in the morning. It’s the second time I’ve visited it today, but I’m thankful that the sun doesn’t feel as cold as it did in the morning.A ship approaches from a distance , passing by another sister ship, “Hamayu”, also a sister ship of Tokyo Kyushu Ferry , is a ship lover. A big event The contrast between the sunlight and “Hamayu” is very beautiful When I boarded “Hamayu” before, the sea was rough and I suffered from seasickness, but now I can say that it was a good experience and good memories. The URL of the video of “Hamayu” boarding is posted in the summary column. It is the video with the most views on this channel, so please take a look at it as well. “Hamayu” After seeing them off , we had some time to go back inside the ship, so let’s take this opportunity to take a walk around the ship.On the side of the observation deck on the 6th floor is the sports room.On the opposite side of the sports room, which is very busy today, is the entrance to the men’s and women’s public baths. At the end of the elevator hallway, which connects the 4th floor to the 6th floor , is the entrance . In the clean room, movies and planetariums are shown. Movies are shown 3 times a day. Similarly, “Hamayu”, which we passed just a few minutes ago, seems to be showing a different movie. The guest rooms on the 6th floor are deluxe rooms and state rooms.Unfortunately , only guests are allowed inside.I would like to stay there someday. With this thought in mind, we headed to the entrance on the 5th floor. There is a kids room on the 5th floor, so it’s safe for those with children. At the entrance on the 5th floor, there are resting spaces on both port and starboard sides. There is a smoking room next to it.As you proceed through the cabin area on the 5th floor toward the bow, you can enjoy the view of the front of the ship. The forward salon is luxuriously decorated and very comfortable. It’s stylish because it’s all decorated in green. The horizon line that you can see from the forward salon is truly spectacular! Please be aware that the curtains will be closed after sunset.Currently , the restaurant is not open, but it can be used as a free space. You can access the 5th floor deck from the door at the back of the restaurant.Depending on the season, onboard barbeques are held here.Even though there is a roof, the sunlight from the ceiling is bright even on the 5th floor, but you will never get tired of looking at the horizon. Smoke is spewing out from the funnel. There are no waves, and there is very little shaking. Therefore, it was a very comfortable boat trip. From here, you cannot go to the observation deck on the 6th floor . You can go down the stairs and go to the 4th floor. The business hours of the facilities are listed to make it easy to understand. In the hallway you passed through when boarding, there is an amusement room. You can enjoy karaoke for 000 yen.Further back, there is a pet area.I will visit the shop later. At the bottom of the stairs is a sign that says “Soreiyu.”In the back, under the stairs is a piano.I wonder if that piano is ever played…? There is a vending machine corner at the entrance where soft drinks, alcohol, and cup noodles are sold. There is also a water heater and a money exchange machine in the same area, so don’t worry. In the guest room area on the 4th floor, there is a laundry room. There are 4 washers and 4 dryers each.Laundry is 300 yen per load, dryer is 200 yen per 30 minutes, and detergent can be purchased for 100 yen . I guess it’s a little more expensive compared to the laundry room, but there’s a barrier-free bathroom near the entrance hall. There’s a smoking room and coin lockers on the starboard side of the entrance hall.Onboard the ship , you feel as if time is passing slowly. The ship is sailing in the sea in the southern part of Wakayama Prefecture. After you’ve thoroughly enjoyed a walk around the ship, relax in the forward salon. It’s time to get hungry. It’s time for lunch. There are quite a lot of people heading to the restaurant to order the food on the touch panel. The food they ordered arrived. We had a set of abura soba, fried rice, and gyoza.Thank you for the meal. The abura soba, of course, and the gyoza and fried rice were also very delicious. After paying and filling our stomachs, we headed out of the restaurant. We headed to the shop. In addition to selling a large number of original goods, drinks, sweets, and daily necessities are also on sale, and there is a good selection of goods on this cruise.I was able to get the Mifune Seal on this cruise 🚢 Head to the observation deck and enjoy the spectacular view with the cute Mifune Seal design with the sunflower design Many of the videos feature scenes of looking out at the ocean, but do you like sea scenes? If you like, please leave your opinions and comments! Enter the ship and move to the screen room on the same floor. The planetarium will be shown in about 15 minutes, so please wait here. There are bead cushions, so you can spend a very comfortable time.It is a very beautiful production that relaxes the minds of the viewers. It seems that some people accidentally fell asleep. The video gradually goes into the sea.Enjoying this kind of planetarium is also a fun part of a boat trip. The screening ends in about 40 minutes. It is very relaxing, so I recommend it! Lunch hours have ended, and I’m grateful to be able to relax in a restaurant with no other people around. It ‘s early evening.I walk through the quiet ship and head to the observation deck on the 6th floor, where the sky is slightly orange. The sky is very gentle and I hardly feel any shaking. There are no other people on the observation deck.In the distance, I can see the Shizuoka Prefecture sunset and enjoy the sunset to myself on the Funnel Observation Deck . We had a luxurious time enjoying the changing sky.The sky was getting darker and it was getting colder. We returned to the ship and headed to the forward salon, but the curtains were already closed, probably because it was after sunset.Afterwards , we went to the restaurant for dinner, and the “Pork Miso Mapo Tofu Set Meal” we ordered arrived.Thank you for the meal. Why do white rice and mapo go so well together? It was so delicious! This is the last restaurant I will use on this cruise, although it is not a buffet, it is a good value for money restaurant and I am very satisfied. It takes about 30 minutes until the scheduled arrival time at Yokosuka Port.I warmed up from the cold and went to the observation deck to see the arrival scene.Although it was dark, I could already see the light of Yokosuka. The long boat trip is coming to an end . We confirmed that we had arrived at the large Yokosuka Port . We said goodbye to the private room we had taken care of on board and disembarked the ship about 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time . Following the guidance of the staff, we headed to the Yokosuka Port Terminal. This is the end of our cruise! On this channel, we post travel videos, mainly boat trips, every Friday! If you like it, I would be happy if you could give it a high rating, subscribe to the channel, or leave a comment! See you again in the next video! Thank you for watching until the end!
