雨風防げる鉄道ビュースポット巡り

Tokyo Monorail Wow. The NEX (Narita Express) is amazing! It makes
such a sharp turn over there. That’s amazing. Oh. It’s Kintaro! So cool. And there was a red Paloma container. I said, ‘Oh,’ but it’s still amazing. It’s rare,
right? There’s only one of those. Hello, everyone. This is Ayako Suzukawa. Today, we’re doing a project for ‘Tetsu Omo!’ I’d like to visit some train viewing spots that
you can easily enjoy, even on a rainy day. I’m currently at JR Hamamatsucho Station in
Tokyo. I’m just a short walk from the South Exit. Right away, here’s the free passage that
connects from the South Exit of Hamamatsucho
Station. This is, It feels like it was made in 2024. It was built in and has a roof, Plus, the tracks are, It’s a spot where you can enjoy a pretty good
train view. I’d like to go see it right away. Oh. Amazing! Right next to us. Oh, and above that is the Tokyo Monorail. Have a good day / See you later. It’s amazing. So, now that we’ve come down here, this is
Hamamatsucho Green Walk. Which is, well, a free passage, a promenade, I guess. And if you look up, there’s a proper roof. The sides are open, so I dare to say, It’s really easy to see, or rather, like before, Just now, the Shinkansen, the Tokaido Shinkansen,
passed by. Wow, that’s amazing. I’m glad you can see it with a roof. And there are even benches. It’s a bit rainy today, but… Well, it’s perfect for this project. If anything, You probably won’t get wet under the monorail
either, right? Oh, it’s coming, oh, the monorail! It’s here, it’s
here! Wow. You can see the underside of the monorail really
well. It’s still under construction, It looks like they’re still building the path
ahead. The path is quite wide, So this area is more for resting and enjoying the
view. There’s a fence, of course, for safety, so taking
pictures… It might not be great taking pictures from this
angle. But it’s really nice to just look at it like this. It’s nice. And it’s spacious. Nice. Oh. It’s really close when it comes up here. Choo-choo. Ah, Didn’t those rails just cross each other? Actually. We just came up one escalator from the level
below. And this is another great vantage point. Well, this area has glass walls. But the fence is much lower than the trains, so you get a really clear view. You can see so much. Both the station and the trains. Oh, and the monorail is directly above us now. The monorail might be too close to see well from
here. Even from a child’s perspective, yes, you can see
it. There’s a design on the lower part of the glass, but you can still see everything clearly. It looks a little whitish because of the design, but you know, you can see it, well, it’s safe because, this is here. It’s coming, it’s coming! Wow, amazing! So close! It feels incredibly close! Wow! You can even see inside the train cars, with the naked eye. You can see it that clearly. Wow! It’s coming from that way too! Oh! It’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming, it’s
coming! Haha. Wow! Wow! Amazing! So amazing! It’s here, it’s here. Now we’re back where we started. We’ve returned to the highest point, and this is incredible! Look! It’s completely different again! This time it’s really from directly above! You can see all sorts of train tracks. You can look down on them, and the Tokyo Monorail, It just passed by a moment ago, you can see it up
close. So I’d like to watch from here for a bit. Wow, the
Shinkansen. Oh, it was shining. Yeah, it’s slowing down. Amazing. Really, If we go a little further this way, we can see it from directly above. Wow. I wonder if the monorail will come by too. Wow, oh, it’s coming, it’s coming! The Tokyo Monorail came at just the right moment. Wow. There’s always something to see, I don’t know, that’s how it feels. Wow, is that another crossover? Is it? Oh, a
crossover! I was looking for one before. I came to find a crossover point. Crossover, crossover. Oh. Wow, look at that! Isn’t that amazing? There’s one with the Fresh Hitachi livery and a
regular one. The E657 series trains are perfectly lined up,
just… They’re passing each other at a great spot. The
timing is really perfect. Whoa, whoa, that startled me! It came from below
all of a sudden. No, it’s really great. I could stay here forever. You can see trains on both the upper and lower
levels here. They just passed each other. You can see it from above, you know? I wonder what the top of the Shinkansen looks
like, things like that. You can see all sorts of things here, and it’s
covered, too. Lots of crossovers! The E657 series is nice, too. Okay, next up, we have JR Osaki Station. In front of us is something called Yume Sanbashi
Bridge. It’s a deck walkway. This one also has a proper
roof above, so… You won’t get wet, even if it’s raining; in that
kind of situation… You can see the tracks right below you again like
this, and get all sorts of train views, and… Can you see the Shinkansen way, way, way in the
back? See? Like this. It’s a different feel from Hamamatsucho. You can see the Tokaido Shinkansen in a
different way, you know? You can see it. Nice. This place is quite spacious, you know? It’s a deck, so… You can get closer than behind glass, you know? You can really take your time and look, like this. That’s what it’s like here. Oh. Have a good day. It stopped for a second. NEX (Narita Express). From above, you can really get a good, close look at
it here. You can see it well, you know? Have a good day / See you later! That’s a Saikyo Line train. Here it comes. Wow. Wow, it’s passing right under me right now! It’s going right under me. Every time I come, right above that… Every time a train comes, I move a little to the
side, right above it, you know? Shonan-Shinjuku Line. Yamanote Line. That’s a place that’s lit up over there. There’s a Shinkansen in the back, too. Oh, that’s nice! It has the same urban or city feel, but still… This place has a different feel than
Hamamatsucho, you know? A different atmosphere. It’s nice. Wow! NEX (Narita Express) is amazing! It curves so
sharply over there. That’s amazing. The red really stands out, doesn’t it? It’s nice. Okay, next up is here: JR Shibuya Station, Shibuya
Scramble Square. We’ve come to the deck area between the Shibuya
Scramble Square and Shibuya Stream buildings. Well, of course, as per the theme this time… So, it’s a train view from a spot with a roof. That’s why we came here, but… Well, this shape… Some of you may recognize it, This place was originally part of the Toyoko
Line, The platform of Tokyu Toyoko Line’s Shibuya
Station. Used to be here. So, was it more than 10 years ago? Anyway, I think this place was built around 2018. It’s been quite a while, but even now, If you look from above, you can see the arched roof. This clam-shaped wall, around here, is actually
from the old Tokyu Toyoko Line era. The shape has been recreated and preserved. And look at this! At your feet, there are even
rails from that time! To keep some of the atmosphere, there are
actually three rails here now. There are. The rails are still here, so… You can feel the history. From this deck, since there’s a roof, I’d like to
take a look. So, Thomas the Tank Engine’s, Isn’t it like Knapford Station? This roof. The good thing about this place is You can really see this station The platform, Well, from right next to it. You can see it. Oh, here it comes! Through service on the Rinkai Line. Nice. Also, both Shibuya Scramble Square and Shibuya Stream are commercial facilities
located here, So you can easily use the restroom, get something
to eat, or go shopping. It’s in a great location. You can take a break. Wow! It’s Kintaro! Amazing! Have a good day. Do your best! So many containers. Have a good day. There’s a red Paloma container. There it is. I said ‘oh,’ but it’s really amazing.
It’s rare and unusual. Right? There’s only one of those. Red Paloma. Oh! It’s a Sotetsu train! Yay! Yay! Yay! Nice, cool. It has depth. The color. Because there are through services and
connections. Ah, it’s here. It’s the NEX (Narita Express). It’s
here. Wow, it’s close. It’s nice. I want to ride it. I want to ride the NEX (Narita Express). It’s so colorful. Oh, there are more in the back. Really? That’s amazing. It’s a double NEX. And
look, we’re right by where they couple. The coupling. Right here. They’re connected. It’s like a dream come true. NEX (Narita Express) trains as far as the eye can
see. Okay, have a good day! Have a good day! Have a good day! Have a good day! Wow, it’s pretty crowded. Have a good day! Tokyu Toyoko Line Shibuya Station. It’s written here as well. The station’s iconic arched roof and
clam-shaped wall on the side… …reproduce the design, and at your feet is an image
of the former Toyoko Line track. They’ve embedded real rails, and it’s written in
white letters. The track number represents the old platform
number. Wow, amazing! I’ve been walking all the way from
the previous… …location, along these rails. As I walked along, I found… …a deck like this. There’s a “You are here” marker right here. And along the Shibuya River side… …further and further ahead… …there it is. I see, I see. So this is that number we’ve been seeing. It’s down there too. So that’s what the number meant. I see. Okay, now we’ve come down here. I’m walking along
the Shibuya River, and look at this, look at this! Look, this one has a number on it too. Column number, the bridge piers are actually
still here like this. I can really picture it now. And there’s a rail on top, but I think it was a
little higher originally. I think it was higher up, but at first glance it
just looks like a normal… …pillar or something, but if you look closely,
you’ll realize it’s a rail. Hachiman Bridge. The Tokyu Corporation Toyoko
Line overpass used to cross at this location.
When the Toyoko Line’s Shibuya Station… …was moved underground, this overpass was
removed after serving its purpose for about 85
years, but you can still see the remains of the
pillars. You can feel the history here. This is Hachiman Bridge. Hachiman Bridge. There are rails here too. Suddenly, rails have appeared. This is another photo spot here. Cute. Oh, it says “Tokyo”. That’s really cool. I’m curious about this spot. Something’s still there, you can feel it. I’m sure it is. Number 60, oh, and number 61 is further in. Hmm. It’s written there. Former Toyoko Line bridge pier Leaving some of the supports… They’ve installed an art piece that combines
steel and rails. Ah, the numbers written on the art piece and along
the promenade are the management numbers for
the overpass pillars, counted from Shibuya
Station. Apparently, that’s what they indicate. I wish we’d known that when we were closer to
Shibuya Station. Well, well, well, it was still good to find out. Here. And this is where the path intersects with the JR
(Japan Railways) lines. Wow, amazing! We’ve come this far. Oh, it’s the NEX (Narita Express)! We saw quite a lot today, didn’t we? Have a good day! / See you later! So, for this episode… Um, well, we’re exploring train-related… …spots in Tokyo that you can enjoy even when it’s
raining. We visited a few of them. Well, it just so happened that today… …it was raining. It’s stopped now, but because it was raining… …it’s easier to demonstrate… …how you really won’t get wet. We were able to visit them and show you in a clear
way. Each time, you can see things from different
angles and slightly different perspectives, so
I highly recommend checking these spots out. So, I hope you’ll all go and see them for
yourselves. And footage from this tour will be featured in
the July 1st issue of… …the August issue of “Tetsu Omo!”, so please check
it out as well. The supplement to this August issue is all about
independent research projects, and… …it includes a project where you can explore
these abandoned railway tracks. So please use the supplement as a reference for
your independent research project during
summer vacation. So that was our tour of enjoyable train view
spots. Thank you for watching. Everyone, go check them out!
