Tiger’s Nest Monastery in Bhutan
You must have seen in a video clip, the receptionist whom I met, she told me her name was Kriti. Kriti is a Hindu but she follows Buddhism religion. Her entire family said that in my entire life I have never been to a Hindu temple, whereas they are Hindus, pure Hindus. Good morning and welcome back to the new blog. I am Ansh and right now I am in Paro city of Bhutan, that is, Paro. If you search Bhutan, then the first image that comes up is of Tiger Nest Monastery of Bhutan, which is also known as Takshang Monastery. So today we are going to do that. Around 4 to 5 hours of moderate hiking is said to be and the altitude is around 1020 feet above sea level. It is around 8:00 in the morning and this was our hotel Yang Bhutan Hotel. So we just had breakfast and now we are ready to start our day. The rest of it is beautiful. So Paro city, Paru town, friend, today is Saturday, so on Saturday you can see that all the government offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday, so due to this I think all the shops etc. are closed here, Paro city is very nice, friend, very lovely, anyway the whole of Bhutan is nice, but still as compared to Thimpo, Finchling and other cities, if you go there, you will find much more peaceful and comfortable here, brother, you will not find traffic lights anywhere even in Paro, Bhutan is called such a safe, so secure city and country, so the Tigerness Monastery is showing a distance of around 7 km from here, so let’s go, friend, as I told you, to travel in the whole of Bhutan, you will have to take a tour from the proper authorized tour agency and after paying the SDF fee, there should be a guide, there should be a car, there should be a booking of a three-star hotel, then By going there you will be able to travel the whole of Bhutan in a very good way. So I have arranged all these things through the tour kingdom, these are their details. So far the experience has been going quite well. My tour was of five nights and six days. If you want, you can plan your trip according to your budget and time. This is our car, I think we have shown it to you in many previous videos. The car is also very good. In this way, whatever big vehicles you will find in Bhutan, the maximum 4 by 4 vehicles or such big vehicles are allowed to you for tours etc. [Music] So guys, now we have reached the main parking base point of Takshang Monastery. This is the parking area where all the vehicles are parked. And this is the ticket counter in front from where we will have to purchase the ticket. The entry fee here is around Bhutanese ₹1,000 per person. Then you can go and visit this place. You can and the price which is currently 1000 Numerals, Bhutan has changed its visa policy in 2023, since then all these things have been implemented here, otherwise the entry fee etc. before this was not very low, almost at many places you can see the vehicles, how much footfall has come here, so brother, for those who say that tourism is less or limited in Bhutan, this is one of the biggest examples, I think so many vehicles are parked in this section, many vehicles are parked below because there is not so much space here, rest this is a base point from where people start hacking etc. So friend, look here, if you want a stick like this to do hacking, then you will have to rent it, you will have to pay 100 Bhutanese Numerals, you can select any one and after hacking you have to return, you do not have to take it, you have to keep this in mind, so this is the starting point and enter As soon as I did this, I saw this prayer wheel, the water was very fresh, natural and cold too, friend. Let’s start the hacking slowly here, friend. And my guide told me that the entry fee is only for hacking here. There is no entry fee for the monastery which is above, i.e., Takshang Monastery. There will be no entry fee there. Only for the amount that you are doing, in a way, this fee goes to the government. See, here, in this way, there are all these houses, horses, etc., so if you want to hire them, then it will cost 1400 Bhutanese Nutrams for one side. These people take them only till half way, then you will have to hire them again and if you come at the time of return, then they will charge you around 2000 Botanical Nutrams. So, you can hire any of these that you find useful. The rest of the monasteries that we want to go to, Friend, you should look at this at the top, from almost here to the top, this part of the monastery which is visible, we have to climb here. My condition is getting worse just by looking at it, how can it be done so high, friend. But really, how has it been built so high, I am still amazed to hear and see this. I have climbed for hardly 5 minutes and my breathing has started getting heavy and at 8:50 we have started our climbing. Let’s see in how much time I will be able to reach the top. Brother, it is not going to be easy, I have understood this and now maybe I must have told you friend that my health has not been good for the last few months. Anyway, there is a deficiency of vitamin D and B12 in the body. Anyway, I am also taking injections etc. after taking advice from the doctor. So in this situation, should I climb or not? This was also a tough decision for me. But the guide said, everyone said that friend, now that you have come here, a Go there again and again, I don’t know when you will come back to Bhutan again. At least this monastery is said to be the most visited temple of the whole of Bhutan, that is, the monastery. The rest of the route is something like this, you see , it is a completely rocky road, friend, big stones are all lying in the middle, like you have to do high on a mountain path, it is almost similar, and brother, everyone has moved ahead, I am the only one behind, what’s your name, my name is Shanu, Shanu Sukhda, okay, so guys, this is Shanu, and just now I thought, I met a family here on the trekking, all of them are also from Mumbai, friend. Aunty ji is also tired, by the way, what should be done, friend, the trekking is something like this, and now you think, this trekking is said to be of around 5 km, and some take 1 1/2 hours, some 3 hours, some 5 hours, it depends on person to person, friend, I have started panting right now, so now see, we have reached the first stop, so this water that you are seeing on top of the mountain The whole proper is coming from there, there is a prayer wheel in front, wow the water is very clear friend, you see it, look at this , it is very cold friend, it is very chilling, absolutely very chilling and friend, look there is a prayer wheel in front, the sound of it is quite good, that sound is coming properly friend, so now friend, the proper steep stairs, the steps, have started, now see, as we are climbing up, the steep stairs have started, oh my God Kamal Brother, come come, you are my inspiration and this brother Kamal Bhai has done this around more than 60, 70 times, now you can guess [Music] [Praise] [Music] [Praise] So guys, after doing hai for around 1 hour, I have just reached this Tiger Nest Monastery, which is midway to do hai, the half point there, so when you come here, look, there is a prayer wheel etc. here, where it is called half midway in a way, this Takshang Monastery There are some singa arrangements etc. here as well, so for those who are not able to go up from here, for them, from the ancient times, this used to be a midway where people used to come and pray at this prayer wheel and then go ahead. And the monastery, even now, you see how high it is, so high up on the hill, this monastery is more than 1000 years old, it is called, now you think that a 1000 year old monastery has been built at the top, it is a big thing in itself, I am still surprised to think that how it must have been built at that time, but literally it is a whole mountain, you can see it and this part is for horses, that is, if you come here on a horse, then this is the midway point and the horse can come only till here, the normal tourists who come by horse have a different route, if you see, two to three stop points have been made in between, like all the halting points, like you have darshan at Fashion Devi etc. in Jammu. Or at any hiking point, there are stopping points in between where people can sit and rest etc. Bhutan is anyway called one of the highest countries in the world because its average elevation above sea level of Bhutan is considered to be around 10,700 feet above sea level . You will definitely find this on an average above sea level in almost the entire Bhutan. And the entire Bhutan is also called one of the most mountainous countries in the world because 98.8% of Bhutan is surrounded by mountains. You will see only mountain terrain all around and literally when you come to this beautiful Paro Valley, now think where is Paro city, the entire below, whatever you are seeing below, this is the entire Paro city, we have spent around 1 hour there till now. It was, see, in the same way, sitting arrangements have been made at many places along the way where you can sit and rest Hello Hello, how was it, so far it is very good, I am getting tired as well, yes a little but I am feeling good, where have you come from, from Jharkhand, I am from Jharkhand, from Mumbai, well and your first time in Bhutan, yes for the first time you people are with the entire family, family means a group, well it is a complete group, yes and half of the journey is still left, half of the journey is left, let’s enjoy, yes thank you, thank you, so look friends, all the people, I think I think small children, families, here also almost I think 80% I have seen Indians, the rest 20% foreigners mixed, people from different countries have also come here to hike, rest brother my entire jacket got wet due to sweating, I took some rest, we drank water etc. here, so if you want to rest down, take a little rest and want to eat some drinks etc. then you can go to the cafe down here, first we go Yes, coming up later we will take you to the cafe and show you here, you will find prayer flags like this everywhere Hello, how was your experience so far, are you enjoying or yes, how difficult is it a little difficult, your age is not nine, think 9 years, I saw many small children here, think five, six-six years old, they are also completing this hike in a very enjoyable way Where are you from Bangalore Bangalore so this is the first time for you in Bhutan right yes oh great and you have been to Thimu or okay then you came you went to Punaka also or I went to Punaka and now you came to Paro or great your name is Aditya Aditya so Aditya friend, this too is from Bangalore with his entire family, look, bored of Orissa I think from whole part of India right now because the vacation is going on, so brother all the people oh oh friend, now I am turning off the camera oh I am short of breath brother, now you all have seen this Tashang Cafet Cafet Area Unit of Bhutan Tourism Corporation Limited, so this was in front, I had told you about Cafet Area, so if you come there, then from there you have to go up like this, by following this road you will have to go up, rest friend Kamal is saying that it is a plain road, but a plain hike seems almost impossible right now, to come up sir, well there are many small shortcuts like this here, if you want to go directly, then you can go up by following all these shortcuts, but mainly, this is the main proper route, see almost hi enjoying oh god brother, I took the stick, but till now I have not used it even once, in between like this, look, they have made a proper wooden ladder, etc., so this is also quite good, a good thing, at least it is not raining, water , water [Music] So guys, now we have reached the first view point of this monastery, so look here, as soon as we come, it is written, please respect the sensitivity of our secret Temple photography in appropriate clothing is prohibited in this area, so you have to pay attention to this very well, it means that you should come in proper clothes and only then take photos and videos from here and here also inside I think the monastery inside the fort is not allowed for photography and videography and you can take it only from outside and the clothes should be proper, so see this is the first view point , the view from here looks very beautiful but because there will be so much crowd, everyone waits for their turn, I will explain and show you the whole view, so guys, now we have reached the first view point and this is the Takshang Monastery in front, that is, the Tigers Monastery looks very lovely, very beautiful, friend and literally you think that the city of Paru is below, I will zoom and show you almost from here, you think its lower base point, this is the part from where we started this whole hacking, so you can see as I told you I think In the previous video also, you must have told that in almost all the religious places in Bhutan, wherever you see the yellow shade, that means it is a religious place, so it is a very lovely, very beautiful view, the entire mountain, mountain cliff, whatever part you are seeing, this is Paro Valley, so guys, here you see, this is also a different one, in this way, there are many view points made, to experience this beautiful Tigerness Monastery, i.e. Taksang Monastery, so brother, it takes me around 750 to 800 stairs, maybe even more. Most of the deep down stairs are made like this, you can see it, from here after completing it like this we will reach the monastery, it is a very beautiful view friend, its view is quite amazing, the rest friend, now gradually the height is getting a little normal, so now here almost the more we go down, the more we will have to climb up and reach the monastery, I think this is the best place, the best view point to experience this monastery, it is surprising, isn’t it, just think that since such a long time this temple has been here at such a highest peak, around as I told you that it is situated at around 100, 230 or 80 feet above sea level, brother, now see the stairs are quite narrow, but brother it is a steep climb, it is very easy to climb up, it is very easy to go down, but when we have to climb it again, then the condition is going to be bad, you see, this cliff, I think, is the biggest cliff and above it, this is the biggest cliff on which this entire The monastery is situated oh wow so guys we were in the upper part, now see this from there, through the stairs, you have to hike all the way down and come here and then there is this midway point, in a way this bridge is built here and this beautiful waterfall, friend, the entire waterfall is water flowing down from the top of the hill, the water is quite cold, anyway the flow is not as much as it should be because it is not raining that much here right now, due to which there is so much flow of water, but you will get to see this very beautiful view, this is the entire waterfall, so this water, this entire proper water flows from here, the Paro river, actually which is called Paro Chhu, so this water meets below in Paro Chhu, right now I think it must have taken me 1 and a half hours to reach here, I have reached here in 1 and a half to 1.75 hours, I was thinking that maybe we would not be able to reach here, but friend, if you muster up courage, then you will be able to reach here, why Kamal ji, we thought that we We will not be able to climb but we will climb in one and a half to two hours. Now, brother, the stairs have started, you can see this. You can see the people of every H brother. So guys, it is around 11:00 now. We had started climbing at 9 o’clock. It took us almost 2 hours to reach the top point. And this is the main part of Takshang Monastery. So a registration room has been made here. There is a locker room. You will have to show your entry ticket there or your guide, whoever will be there, will take it with you and get you entered there. And whatever stuff you have, you will have to take it there and submit it. If you want to use the restroom etc., then you can come here and use the restaurant etc. This entire segment has been made for sitting and the local police etc. will check all the entry tickets etc. and registration slips etc. properly and then you will be taken to the top. So this is the main monastery, Tashang Monastery, Tigerness Monastery, which are known by different names, so inside around I think it may take 40 minutes, 30 to 40 minutes to explore the whole complex, so guys, I have just come to a point after visiting this monastery, so I will tell you a little deep history of this whole monastery, so this whole rock formation that you are seeing behind, this rock formation is called around millions of years back, that is, when the earth was formed and this temple is called Tigernest Monastery, the meaning behind it is because Takshang is also called Tigernest, so due to this, its Tiger Nest or Tashang Monastery both have the same name, apart from this, there was Guru Rampoche in the 8th century, who is called Guru Padma Sambhava, who brought Buddhism to Bhutan country, he reached here by riding on a female tiger and he meditated at this place for 4 months and 4 days. Actually it was built for the first time in the year 1646 and later this entire complex was rebuilt around 1692; the entire temple, as I told you, the main four temples that are present here, now it is called eight temples, that all the temples are connected to each other through interlinked steps and in some parts, mostly all the parts that are there now, in some parts, all of us, whether they are from outside or local people, have permission, rest if you see in the back part of this mountain, there are some other temples as well where only local people have permission to go inside, in between there were fires etc. here many times two to three times, due to which Some parts of this monastery were damaged, but the main idol kept inside the main temple, the idol which is called the idol of Guru Rampoche, did not suffer any damage. So, when Guru Rampoche came here for the first time after riding a tiger, a female tiger, especially, the first place where he reached is called Tholpho and the upper part where he meditated is called Pepho. So, these are the two most important parts. And if you look above, then after that, many Buddhist monks used to come here and meditate etc. And even today, it is considered the main meditation centre of the Buddhism religion of the whole of Bhutan. It is a very religious and spiritual place. It is also called the cultural icon of the whole country of Bhutan. Especially, regarding meditation, all the monk monks come here and meditate etc. since the earliest times. So till today if we talk about the experience then the overall experience was quite good, we had a great time spent and I think it will be one of the best experiences for the whole country of Bhutan, if you come here and trek and reach here by trekking, so this was my own experience, I think it will take around 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the base point by trekking again, so let’s see and guys, we left at 1:00 pm, it’s 1:30 pm and now we have reached this cafe area, cafe area or restaurant area, so it took us around half an hour to reach down from the monastery point up to here, in between we had taken a lot of stops, took photos, videos, etc., did photography, so this is a mid point, look at this in front, you must be able to see the monastery and here, there is a very nice fine dining proper restaurant, you can eat and drink, you can rest. You can do this and if you also need to access the washroom etc. then you can do all that here. So guys, this was the Takshang Ministry and almost we have reached the base point. This is the parking area in front, i.e. the base point from where we had started our trekking. So the current time in Bhutan is around 2:10. We had started our trekking around 9:00 am. So in total, this entire trekking lasted for 5 hours. As on an average, everyone says here, it took us 2 hours to go and around I think it took us 1 and a half hours to come back. In between, we spent 1 hour inside the monastery. From half an hour to around 40 minutes, we must have done photography, videography and all this. And we rested at one or two points. While going, I rested only at the half midway prayer wheel area and while coming back , I rested at the point at almost the starting point with the stairs and steps. It will be called a medium hike because some patches will appear quite difficult to you, specially there are two patches in the beginning which are steps, you have to pay a little attention there because one has to walk by lifting one’s legs a lot and the rest of the steps with stairs, especially while going there won’t be that much problem but while going also there are around 740 stairs, probably you have to go down them and then climb up and similarly while coming back also you will have to come back by doing the same way so this part which is a patch is also considered to be quite difficult but overall if you see, you will do it at a little slow pace, some do it at a high pace, everyone has their own pace, according to that there will be hiking there, on an average if seen then five to six hours total is considered but some people who have a very good speed will take 1 and a half to 2 hours, minimum 2 hours are required to reach the top and around one to half an hour to come back and in these Between you, it depends on you how much time you spend there, so this was my experience, rest I must have told you that in 1998, this monastery caught fire, so at that time there were a lot of issues, there was a lot of damage, but the king of Bhutan spent around 135 million Bhutanese Numeraries in restoring this entire monastery, because of which you can see this beautiful monastery now, you can go and have darshan, so this was the experience of building this entire monastery, see, we have come back to the horse point, here some cafes etc. are being made like this and right now, friend, I am tired and lunch I haven’t even done it yet so I am thinking that first I will go to the hotel and take some rest for about half an hour, I will relax, take a shower etc. and then after that we will have lunch etc. and then after resting for about 1 and a half hours, let’s see what we will take you around in Paro city today and look, this is our MH vehicle, it is Maharashtra’s vehicle, so if you want to bring your vehicle from India, then I think on an average, you will have to pay ₹4500 per day permit in Indian currency as a tax, so you can bring your 4 by 4, I think the bike is also almost around ₹2.5 to ₹3000, if you want to travel in Bhutan country by bringing your own vehicle, then it is possible but you will have to pay the tax per day, so guys, it ‘s around 3:30 in the afternoon right now and I have come to my hotel room and I haven’t even eaten food, so I have ordered lunch in my hotel itself, so lunch What I am going to have is this vegetable thupka, so I think he has given it with noodles and some vegetables garnished like this and along with it I have ordered a masala tea , their chillies are very spicy, friend, it is very dangerous, I add lemon, this is a different combination of mine, so guys, it ‘s around 5:00 in the evening right now and after resting for around 2 hours, I am leaving from my hotel to explore this Paro city, so the weather is quite nice right now, lovely, anyway the weather of the whole Paro city is always lovely, so you can see this, right now I think the wind is blowing very fast due to which the wind is blowing very fast, so I thought that let’s go out a little and take you around the other part of Paro city where I have not yet visited and see and yesterday also I had gone out to buy Subeniyan, so I was able to buy only one magnet, so let’s see if I get anything else to buy, then we will purchase that too and along with I will also tell you some information related to Bhutan country which I have not been able to share with you till now. So, I told you that my overall tour was of five nights and six days which I took through Tour Kingdom. It was a very good experience with them. Their owner and his entire team together organized this entire tour in a very good manner. So thanks for that. The official language of Bhutan is Jakha and Jakha also has three different regional dialogues in which Laya Lunapa and Ada are spoken. You will find mainly local people of entire Bhutan talking among themselves and this is spoken in South Tibetan language from where it was actually derived. Because of which you must be noticing that all their great yogis and gurus all came from the South part of Bhutan or Tibet side. I have come out a little and here also you will find electric charging points everywhere in Bhutan where these vehicles can be charged in this way. It is free of cost, it does not cost any money, I think you will get to see this in the whole of Bhutan and this is also a taxi stand like this, see, if you start seeing horses etc. then this whole is a farming land area, I mean the town is very small, I think it will hardly be 2 to 3 km, the rest of this whole town is a part of Paro Valley and here you can see a very green environment and now see the crops etc. also, some people are still doing farming, the farmers who are local here, they are working in the fields etc. In a video clip, you must have seen that in the hotel where I am staying, the receptionist whom I met, she told me her name was Kriti, one thing here, friend, these people speak so softly that even if you put a mic near them, the voice is still very low, so Kriti is a Hindu but she follows Buddhism religion, her entire family said that in my entire life I have never been to a Hindu temple, whereas they are Hindus, pure Hindus. She and she follows Buddhism religion in Bhutan so I asked is it only you or do other people also do this, she said that you will find many people here who are Hindus but follow Buddhism religion and practice it in the same way in their homes, you will find them worshipping Buddhism, Lord Gautam Buddha, their gurus, so I must have told you in many of my previous videos also that the main dominating religion here is Buddhism, around 74-75%, Hinduism comes second which is around 22-23%, around 1-2% might be Christians, rest remaining are some indigenous people and Islam So here it is zero% among the ethnic groups, there are three categories in them too, one is Galo, which are called Bhutanists, you can also call them Bhutanists, they are proper, all the Bhutanese who follow Buddhism religion, they all come under Galop and the Hinduism here is mostly from Nepalese community, and the third category which is called Sharchof is also Bhutanist, that is, they follow Buddhism religion only, but their number is a little less, so by combining these three ethnicities, the population of the whole country of Bhutan is seen, rest my friend, my feet are paining a lot because I did so much hiking and if you come here after hiking, then hot stone is quite popular, if you want to do it, you can do it, around 1500 Bhutanese nutram charge is levied, that is, ₹1500 is considered good, it will relieve the fatigue of your feet and there is massage etc. at a couple of places, spa etc. also if you want to get it done If it is, they charge ₹4 to ₹5000, so you can do that, right now I am also feeling like it, let’s see if I get time, then we will do that experience at night, otherwise I thought a little bit that you should visit Bhutan as much as possible, today is my second last day because guys, tomorrow our trip from here is almost going to end, there are no traffic lights, why not in Bhutan because there is no need here, the normal traffic police manually control the whole country of Bhutan and its different aspects, if you want to rent a bike here, then you can rent it, there is no problem, you can come in that case also, but you should have a guide, this is mandatory, means if you want to do overall travel in Bhutan, then you have to take a guide, you have to pay SDF, you have to stay in a three star hotel at least and if you have your own vehicle, then it is good, then you will have to pay tourist tax, if you take a bike, then bike rent and plus fuel etc. You will have to pay for all these things and in travel inside the country is not as expensive as it is for tourism i.e. tourism cost is high but local food and drink and a little entry fee is expensive everywhere if you see because if it is below ₹5000 then nothing is going to cost but food is cheap local vegetables are cheap fruits are cheap all these items are quite cheap brother public transport is quite cheap for the local people inside their country so that is also a good option here rest see if you don’t have cash then you can also withdraw money from all these ATMs like Visa card or American Express Master card well I had withdrawn at the place itself this is also a very big stupa in front so in the whole of Paro you will get to see around 155 i.e. 155 temples and stupas mix some of them are also present around 14 century and there is also religious city because you will see all around in the mountains also people have gone The monastery etc. has been built so high up, so this is also a shop, let’s go and see if we get to see any souvenirs etc. So I have purchased some souvenirs here, I already got it packed, the name is I think Bhutan Sove Souvenir, Paro town, Kingdom of Bhutan, contact number, one more thing I want to tell you something unique, the mobile numbers here, see, are of three, six, eight digits, starting with one and mostly I have noticed that they start with one only, and so here are our souvenirs, we have bought all these things from here, so I purchased a lot of things yesterday as well and before this, when I was in Thimu, there also I had shown you that we made a lot of purchases from their organic products, so this total bill that came out to be around ₹1700, one more thing is that all the souvenirs in Paro are quite expensive, so I When I asked them the reason for this , they said that they bring it from outside, from Timpu and other different places, so the cost is a little higher here, due to which, as compared to Thimu and Panakha Paro, whatever items you purchase, their cost is a little higher as compared to these cities, and the difference around is also you will see a difference of ₹200 to 3300, in some items you will see a difference of ₹100. Now the fridge magnet etc. that I bought is for 150, 200, 300, there are different qualities, different prices; here rear wheels etc. are quite expensive, friend, 1500, 1600, 1000, 1200, you won’t get it below that. I wanted to buy an idol of Lord Gautam Buddha, so that was for 8000, 14000, 20,000, 16000 and some other idols When I was small, it was available for around Rs. 3000, 2000, 1500. Still I purchased a lot of things from Bhutan as a memory. So in a way, it is a memory for me and somewhere the local people also get some economic support in this way. I think people like us should also collect some of these things with us. Now related to this, I wanted to tell you that in Bhutan, I think I must have shared with you in the previous videos as well that everything is imported and exported from India only. 70 to 80%, especially gas, petrol, jewellery, gold, especially from India and all the equipment, iron rods, etc., like automobiles, especially cars, etc., their parts, etc. and a lot of technology-related things are imported here and some fruits, vegetables, grains, all these things are also imported by Bhutan from India and in terms of export, Bhutan gives India a lot of exports. It is hydro power that does this. I think I have already told you that it is India that buys the most electricity from Bhutan, brother of hydro power. Well, Bhutan’s relations are good with all the other countries. Apart from this, I think Bhutan imports a little bit of goods from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia as well . Its relations with China are OK, neither bad nor good. The border is also closed and whatever Chinese items Bhutan imports, it does it all through India only. So, I got to know about this also. Look, there are clouds again, so drizzle has started. So, you will also get to see a little bit of weather prediction in Paru in this way. Hello, hello, so this is it. Look in front, this is the Paro canteen. So, in this way, you will not see as many medical shops as you will get to see liquor shops all over Bhutan. I also noticed many unique things, you can see this. So, look, there are souvenir shops full of them. In this Paro city, whatever segment you are seeing in the line, all of it is related to Sonier only. There is a restaurant in front, Indian Masala Fine Dine Indian Cuisine and below that there is Hotpot, so this is also a hotpot. Well, you will find many such Indian restaurants to eat and drink here. So this is almost the outer part of Paro town, I have reached there now, so actually Vintage Club is ahead of us. If you want to drink local tea etc., then you can see this like this. Here, tea is porridge etc., some food items are also there. If you want to eat and drink in a local way, then you can come here and eat and drink. Local people come here and spend their time like this. You must be seeing Bharat Petroleum, so Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil HP, different Indian petrol tanks, you will find all these everywhere in Bhutan. What you are seeing is the local gym here, which has been built by the local municipality and the government in Paro. If you look here, everywhere you see it is written that Jak 8 Kairoke, so in terms of night life brother, Kairoke is the only thing here, so yesterday I went here at night, but brother yesterday was Friday, so there was no atmosphere, today it has been said that maybe around 12 or 1:00 in the night there will be some party etc. in the clubs etc., so if you want to experience it, you can come, there is also a Jamyang Kay Roke in front, see, it is visible right now while I was walking, I think first step is written something like this, this is a very cute, very beautiful complex, I think there are different shops of different supermarket types in it, see there is a supermarket in front as well and there is a small cafe area below, bubble tea is also available here, friend, well friend, Bhutan country is currently trying to promote eco-tourism a lot in its rural parts of areas and if we talk about it The investment and job opportunities are a little less here, friend, I have heard from a lot of people who like to go and work in countries outside Australia and they also want to, but since they have introduced tourism at this level, especially whether it is male or female, for them tourism as a tour guide, there is an opportunity for the drivers to drive the vehicles, they are getting money for that, the drivers will need a driver to drive the vehicles, so in a way, they have got a job opportunity, the guides are getting it, in a way, the hoteliers have also got a lot from this. We are getting a lot of business because of the tours, restaurants etc. are also getting a lot of business, so many vehicles etc. are coming, so many people are coming here, tourism is gradually increasing, so because of that they have introduced fuel, petrol, diesel, electric vehicles here for the local people, so all these are the main sources that are supporting the economy of the entire country of Bhutan, and in this way, if you want to buy local goods etc., then all the local people, in this way, their non-branded goods, especially I think, some of them would be Made in Bhutan and the rest would be from outside, people come here and purchase them, and what is a good thing here, see, here also a one way has been made, one has to come from this side and go from this side, and I wanted to tell you one more special thing, all the houses in the entire country of Bhutan are not adjacent to each other, you will notice this, you can see it yourself, see how much distance is there between this house and this house How much distance is there in this house which you can see in front, there is a good distance in it, so I liked this thing quite a lot, that means you are not going to get the feeling of congestion here at all, well you will say that why would there be any congestion when the population is so less, but I liked the concept of making stills, here brother you can see one behind the other, that means if you climb up one house, then from its roof, I think you can climb and go around the entire neighborhood, so friend from back I have reached almost close to my hotel, the momo corner is visible in front, so let’s go and eat a plate of momos first, so the way to order here is that this entire menu is displayed, whatever you want, you can order them, so vegetable momo, yes, okay this is jhol, this is soup, good soup, in vegetable vegetarian soup, so if you order veg momo, then you will get this veg soup along with it, so friend, I have seen this for the first time and along with it I think this would be their chutney, this is just Bhai sahab also I just met him I talked to him he is in third class right now and studies in your house where is your house it’s far how far from here 19 kms the soup is good friend it’s tasty absolutely wow I liked it one thing is that hot soup in cold food is fun no it’s good you please try at least one I am offering it again and again but he is not taking it friend so this is it brother the first bite ok so friend we had just ordered veg momo here which was very yummy so now I have ordered this second dish from back and its name is Potato Kiva with Fried Soup this one I have ordered it has potato stuffing inside it now is it mashed potato or what kind of potato it is so you will get to know after eating it I liked the chutney also very much friend ok nice to meet you lovely to see you yes a video for you or sure any time so friend this is quite cute and around this we sat and ate together and I think more than We talked to each other for 40 minutes, it was quite nice and this was his family, I think where he is going with his family, it was quite nice, the good part is that think how small a child he is and he is still in third class, okay bye-bye take care and is able to communicate in proper English, friend that’s the beauty, I liked it very much, rest this was our momo corner shop from where we ate momos, the bill came for two plates of momos was around 170 Bhutanese notram, so I still have some Bhutanese currency left, well I can use that in future also, otherwise I will have to go to the border and get it changed or we will purchase some other souvenirs etc., rest I will definitely recommend this, friend, I think if Paro is coming, you must come to this shop and try the momos, well you may find many other good shops also where you can try, like this one small shop is good if you want to have fine dining If you want to have an experience then you can come here as well, but local people come and eat here where I have eaten, so guys this is the view from my hotel room at night and now it has started raining a little more, due to this I have come back to my hotel room, so guys this was my overall experience of today, which was quite good, I am also very tired, my legs are paining a lot, so I am thinking of taking some rest, so this was my full day today and overall my second last day of five nights, six days tour ended today, so we have covered almost all the things, we have to travel from here tomorrow. Yaar all the way fencing and we will enter India country again, so I hope you guys enjoyed the whole video, so whatever you liked the video, please do share your feedback by going to the comment below and for live status you can follow me on Facebook and Instagram and if you want, you can also support by clicking on the thanks and joy button, you guys please do subscribe and do share your feedback once, whether you liked it or not, right now in this journey, I have used a microphone throughout the journey, so I have checked my voice, it must be coming quite good in the videos, a little bit when I am talking to these people, because they speak so softly, sometimes even when I take the mic close, the sound is slow, so maybe that could be an issue, what do you people have to say about that, you should also tell me in the feedback, rest I told you that you will have to take a tour in Bhutan, so my tour was complete, overall in every video, I have probably shared information with you through the tour kingdom. So if you also want to take the complete tour and travel to Bhutan, then their details of Tour Kingdom will be available on their website, their reviews etc. are quite good, so you can discuss with them within your budget, whether you want to do a solo trip or a family trip, whatever you want to do, your entire package will be organized with good service, our entire tour till now has been quite good, so you can contact them, that’s all in this video, now I will meet you friend in tomorrow’s video, until then bye-b take care from Bhutan Paru [Music]
