香港エルメス🇭🇰観光客でも枠バッグが買えるって本当?全6店舗回ったエルパト体験談🍊
Hi, I’m YURIE, a travel writer. This video is another Hermès hunting vlog—this time from Hong Kong. I’m here in Hong Kong for 3 days and 2 nights. There are 5 Hermès stores in the city—2 on the Kowloon side and 3 on Hong Kong Island. There’s also one at the airport, so you can visit six in total. Let’s head straight to the Harbour City location. The Hermès window displays change with each season and collection. I always look forward to checking them out. I’m taking the minibus from Harbour City to Elements. It was a bit tricky since I don’t speak Cantonese. Regular buses or the subway are easier. Now heading to the Hermès inside Elements mall. It’s been a while since I came to Elements, so I had no idea where the store was. Elements is located directly above Kowloon Station. Anyway, I’m going to try and find the store. The Hermès here seems to be next to a St. Louis shop. If you navigate well from Central/Hong Kong Station, you can reach it through the indoor mall. Now I’m heading to the Hermès in Central. The Central store has a unique design inspired by bamboo scaffolding, which is very Hong Kong. I couldn’t navigate well and ended up entering from outside. OMG—I got it! (Sorry for the loud traffic signal.) I can’t believe I got a bag! I’m heading back to the hotel now. I’m going to visit the last two stores at this pace! Pacific Place is directly connected to Admiralty Station, so it’s super convenient. I’ve arrived at Causeway Bay Station! Time for the final stop. Just visited the last Hermès store in Causeway Bay. They had more than just display-only items. They even had some well-known, popular bags. (More in the second half of this video.) The store is three stories tall and really impressive. Since I already bought a bag today, I can’t buy another one in Hong Kong until next month. Apparently, you’re only allowed one bag per stay and no more than two per month? That wraps up my store visits—cutting the video here. Lastly, I’ll report on the airport store too. Come to think of it, Hong Kong doesn’t have duty-free, so the airport store is treated the same as those in the city. I heard that the bag limit likely applies citywide—including the airport store. This video is about my Hermès shopping in Hong Kong, and I’m going to start the unboxing. First up—I got a Twilly. In my Hermès vlog from Hawaii, I showed you a Twilly I bought, but since a Birkin has two handles, I actually wanted two. So I bought another Twilly in the same bandana pattern as the one I got in Hawaii. Hawaii only had one left, so I couldn’t get a pair then—happy I found it now. And the next one—yes, this is also something I’d been searching for. I already have a Kelly belt in Etoupe with gold hardware, but they had it in stock, so I got one with silver hardware. Now I think I’ve finally collected all the Kelly belts I wanted. Apparently, Kelly belts are hard to find in Japan too. And finally, the big one this time. I bought a bag, but something feels different about the box. Let’s go ahead and open it. This is the bag I’ve been searching for forever. It’s packed with tons of cushioning. It’s a Picotin in the color Craie. I’ve been looking for one in Nata, but it rarely comes up. I figured Craie or Béton would be fine too, but I was firm on wanting gold hardware and the 18 size, so I kept searching. They told me, “We don’t have Nata, but we do have Craie,” and I finally got my dream white Picotin with gold hardware. It’s my first time getting a bag in Craie, but it’s such an elegant shade—I pretty much fell in love at first sight. Nata is slightly more yellow-toned, while Craie leans beige. Béton is a bit more grayish, and I already have a Birkin in Béton, which I also think is cute, but I never imagined I’d actually get a Picotin in Craie. Actually, I was offered other bags this time too— one was a Birkin in a super vivid color, and another was a Kelly Élan in a grayish tone. They seemed to have a decent amount of stock then. The Kelly Élan was really cute, but it didn’t seem like it could hold much. The structure was quite slim. Then they told me, “We have a Picotin in Craie,” and since I’d been searching for a white one with gold hardware, I thought this was the time. The SA was also really kind, so I went ahead and got the Craie Picotin. That wraps up the three items I bought. As for the prices: The Kelly belt was 9,700 HKD. The Twilly was 2,000 HKD. And the Picotin 18 (in Clemence leather, Craie) was 28,200 HKD. Since Hong Kong has no tax, those are the final prices—no additional duty. Next, I’ll summarize my experience at the Hermès stores in Hong Kong. As I mentioned at the start of the video, there are five stores in the city. Two are on the Kowloon side, which connects to mainland China. One is in Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, and the other is inside Elements mall. Across Victoria Harbour on Hong Kong Island, there are three stores. The first is a large street-level shop in Central—maybe two or three floors. The second is in Pacific Place, directly connected to Admiralty Station. The third is inside Lee Garden in Causeway Bay, which houses many luxury brands. This one’s surprisingly spacious too—probably three stories. There’s also a store at Hong Kong International Airport, making six in total. Now for what I saw in stock and what was offered to me during this visit. Stock changes daily, so please take this as a rough reference. The first place I went to was Hermès in Harbour City. A fluffy shearling Chaine d’Ancre bag was out on display and available for purchase. There was also a new striped fabric Picotin freely displayed on the shelf. A Nata crocodile Constance Mini was also out and available. They had a slightly larger Neo Evelyne on the shelf too, and many display items were actually available to buy. It felt like if you wanted anything else, just ask. Next, I went to Hermès in Elements. There was a customer looking at a Garden Party bag, and the SA suggested a Picotin 18 in Gold with silver hardware to me, but I passed because I really wanted a white one. They also said they had a Constance Mini in a rose-like color, but I had bought an Etoupe Constance Mini in Paris, so I passed on that too, thinking I’d want something white next. They had Geta sandals in white and Etoupe-like colors on display and available. Then I visited the Hermès store in Central. They had In-the-Loop bags, Geta sandals in white tones, and Etoupe available. The striped fabric Picotin I saw in Harbour City was there too. One rare piece I noticed was the Pochette Birkin Shadow. It looked like a clutch—super cool design. But I don’t go to parties much, so I couldn’t think of how I’d use it. It was in a deep gray—if it had been white, I might’ve considered it more. That’s about it for what was available there. Next was Hermès in Pacific Place. Most of the women’s items were display-only. There were a few men’s items that seemed available, and I saw someone looking at a Picotin, so maybe they bring things out from the back. They only asked if I was interested in the Geta sandals—nothing else was offered. Finally, I went to Hermès in Causeway Bay. They had a huge variety, and although some items were display-only, the shelves were generally well-stocked. I saw black-and-white Geta sandals, a gold Evelyne 29, and a striped Picotin in Noir. There were also Chaine d’Ancre bags in both black and white, a Herbag in Noir, and a tall tote that looked like it could fit a laptop. (Maybe a Cabas Élégance?) There was also an Ostrich Constance To Go, in yellow—probably the color was Limoncello. It was available. They told me they had a Picotin 22 in Noir, but I’m 160 cm tall, and that size felt a bit too big. I didn’t end up buying anything there, but the selection was excellent. The store was spacious and the staff were very attentive—when they saw me sweating, they brought me water right away. The store was spacious and the staff were very attentive—when they saw me sweating, they brought me water right away. That sums up my experience at each store. Lastly, a recap of Hermès shopping in Hong Kong. I’ve actually posted a Hong Kong Hermès vlog before, but I didn’t get any bags then. Even though I’ve visited Hong Kong Hermès stores many times, this was the first time I actually bought a bag. Lately, I’ve seen a lot of people on Instagram saying Hermès in Hong Kong is hot right now—same for Korea. It made me wonder if the rules have changed. Of course, timing plays a role, but it felt easier to buy than before. I bought this Picotin at the Central store, and to be honest, I didn’t have great memories from that location. I wasn’t expecting much, so I was shocked when they brought out the bag I’d been searching for. It really comes down to timing and your SA. One thing I noticed was different from last time: Even as a walk-in, I was offered quota bags like Birkin, Kelly, and Constance. Though they weren’t in basic colors, so if you’re not into bold shades, it might not appeal to you. For example, I was offered a green Birkin this time. I’m not really into green… If it had been a different color, I might’ve gone for it. In the past, it felt like residents got priority and tourists couldn’t buy bags in Hong Kong. But visiting all these stores now, things might have changed. I used to think tourists could only get Picotin or Mini Evelyne. Depending on the stock, even quota bags might be possible—that was a new discovery. Of course, I think you still need to spend for Birkin or Kelly bags. But no store gave a specific spending amount. It felt more like, “If there’s something you want, feel free to add it.” All the stores had the same message: “Only buy what you’ll actually use.” Shopping in Hong Kong feels very different from other countries. Even with the Picotin, they didn’t say “You need to buy something else too.” When I got offers for the Birkin 25 and Constance Mini, there was no talk of required spending. Since I didn’t buy a quota bag this time, I can’t say how much you need to spend to get one, but still, I really felt like the chance wasn’t zero—and that was huge. I also asked about some silver jewelry I was looking for, and they said, “Japanese customers bought them all—we’re out right now.” They asked me, “Why do Japanese people love silver so much?” It’s true—Chaine d’Ancre items are rarely in stock in Japan. So if your timing is right, you might score some silver jewelry in Hong Kong. As I mentioned earlier, there are five stores in the city plus one at the airport—six in total. It’s rare for such a small country to have so many stores in one city. For Hermès hunters, Hong Kong is a great place to move around. There are also around five Hermès stores in Macau. In a previous video, I briefly showed a bit of Macau’s Hermès shopping, but I didn’t do a full tour like this time. I’d love to go back and explore more thoroughly. Between Hong Kong and Macau, there are about ten stores to visit. I feel like they might be hidden gems. By the way, I used to live in Shenzhen, China, and I’ve crossed the land border to Hong Kong over 200 times. In other vlogs, I also share my favorite food spots and sightseeing picks in Hong Kong, so feel free to check those out too. Thank you so much for watching this Hong Kong Hermès shopping vlog. I look forward to seeing you in the next video.
