  1. If plate tectonics created it wouldn’t it look like mountains or cliffs instead of having right angles?

  2. I didn't know tectonic uplift and ocean currents could not only shape rock into a series of right angles. But, also group them together to make very evenly spaced stair steps…..while leaving the floor beneath and around it flat and surprisingly level.

  3. Just because you don’t understand why it eroded in this way, doesn’t mean it’s not the case. We have lots of examples where this has happened naturally. There’s no reason to imagine up an underwater civilization or aliens or any other crazy thing that there’s no evidence for. Maybe unicorns did it. Maybe it’s a long lost blacksmith shop for the Norse gods. Just propose anything and someone will believe it. And no matter how often people who understand the real answers, debunk this stuff, there will still be people who say “it looks like this to me so that’s what I’ll believe”.
