35 minuti devastanti per vedere lo spettacolo delle linee di Nazca in Perù – ep37 – s3

I also have the impression that someone lives right here by the sea and has these wooden houses it’s one of those extreme places that Francesco loves to photograph etc. that make me feel uneasy and a part of me would like to continue without stopping this is the view that surrounds us [Music] this is a stranded area what are they doing collecting sand [Music] here there are some butta inside [Music] you can’t smell it from home guys but there’s a devastating smell then there’s the wind that in theory should also blow it away besides wondering how they manage to live in these conditions sometimes it’s harder than usual we are in Yauka the river has helped create this green oasis full of olive trees in fact Yauka seems to be as it was written at the entrance to the pueblo the ciudad de las Aitunas the city of olives the taxi [Music] [Music]
toll that we will probably exceed as usual let’s see maybe we are not exempt nasca 112 km Lima 565 we are traveling with a strong wind from the left to the right then from the sea towards the interior this area besides being desert also has a constant very strong wind and as usual our position worsens every time a truck passes by precisely because of the tail blow of the air [Music] now that we have taken the direction of Pennatska the cars have increased a bit but we are exactly 103 km from Natka the context around has always remained the same [Music] [Music] [Music] at this point after about 200 km that you have also seen in part if you ask us Francesco and Sara what the Cosmic nothingness is we have it ahead let’s say that this area of Peru reaching Naza is very similar to corridors on the day of August 15th the void nada de nada for hours that is for the whole day of August 15th with the only difference that every now and then a truck passes which then regarding the day of August 15th the South Americans the Argentines with whom we have spoken about it do not understand why Italy on the day of August 15th or the days immediately before or immediately after stops how is it possible that a country on those days it stops and then Italy is not South America eh but it is like this and these that we see all together are the first wind turbines that we have seen here in Peru maybe we are almost there this should be the outskirts of Nazka even if for the structure the navigator tells me still 19 km and in any case Natskaa welcomes us with a very small sandstorm m mamma mia so if you want a cold drink do not hesitate which you always find at the entrance of every town usb of scarga music crazy crazy things I think that behind this curve you should start to see the city archaeological area here there should be Kawacci dating back to the Nasca civilization between the 10th century and the 600 crist a small plane above us that will surely be flying over the lines and geoglyphs of Natka crazy heat at the moment in Nazka [Music] here we have to stop positive the traffic lights have seconds for both red and green customized vehicles [Music] this should be the main avenue even though Nazka is very famous precisely for the lines of Nazka the poverty situation is broadly the same as in southern Peru I’ll leave you with the visor open at least you can breathe a little maybe I made a mistake before this is the main street with the heat and the fact that it never rains here you can imagine what a good smell and what a pleasure to breathe deeply Maria Reich the German scientist who dedicated her life to studying the Nazka lines [Music] our structure should be located along this avenue maybe we’ve reached our destination guys even today great cutie uh arrived hello guys good day today we’re going really fast to a crazy place [Music] luis perfect a pleasure good morning good morning good morning ok let’s go we have our transfer that will take us to the Nazka airport we got there at the airport but as you can see we are always very lucky in the sense that today there is a bit of fog so visibility is not the best we should wait maybe an hour before taking off so we can see maybe what we need to see that is what we hope to see anyway this is the airport and there at the end there are two crazy vehicles [Music] now passport control just like we were in an international airport ready to fly yes they told us that this airport was lost around the 70s so before Nasca was declared a world heritage site in 1994 probably some studies had already started obviously they lent us because the plane is bad I weigh 85 kg in the last 4 months I have lost 3 kg I have gained two okay you understand who is the pig of the two but above all shut up here anyway two taxes to pay the second Ministry of Culture these are the two things to do 77 soles so we are talking about about €19 which would be practically airport taxes obviously you have different airlines we will take the Phenix plane hoping that everything goes well they make us fill out this form manually yes it is a sort of registration for the Peruvian Ministry of Culture we have check-in at 10 hello we are on a Nazca culture site pre-Inca civilization from 100 AD to 600 AD the last plane is ours the airport we take off from is named after Maria Raik German scientist listen to that engine guys honestly they don’t give me much confidence he was assistant to the American Kosoc scholar who in 39 flying over the area saw some lines traced on the ground ok less yes surely they will calculate the weight amig together they began to map them hypothesizing their relationship with astronomical events we in the first row since I’m a bull better to put it in front no need for a second pilot ouch and a minute comes otherwise I would put myself there for what I could do we also have earphones so maybe while we are in flight they will give us some sort of guide and now we wait for the second pilot in the meantime I’ll show you the cockpit good good Italy Italy Germany and Uruguay I don’t fit in perfect perfect Uruguay Argentina Chile and the moment of Peru here they communicate with the tower warm feeling security that is close to zero so pray for us I’m safer on the Terona on a ripio on a I ford everywhere but I’m more confident on the Tenerona also because with his feet on the ground Richik convinced the Peruvian air force to help him make photographic aerial surveys it looks like an open exhaust to Krapovic working alone from his house in Nazka dedicating his entire existence to their study petrol we have it I saw it two tanks will have to warm up the engine for sure [Music] perfect [Music] [Music] he never convinced scholars with his theory that the lines were for astronomical purposes but in fact he brought attention to the area declared since 1900 194 Unesco Heritage other studies came to the conclusion that the lines had to do with rituals connected to water the water supply in fact played a fundamental role throughout the desert region the Panamerican highway flows to trace a clear sign in the interminable plain as we approach the over 13,000 lines and 800 geoglyphic signs that develop over an area of 750 km² [Music] [Music] the lines they were traced by removing the stones from the surface leaving a contrast with the lighter gravel below the non-windy plain and the rather stable climate meant that the drawings remained intact for hundreds of years the whale 30 m long the astronaut of equal length the hummingbird 94 m x * 66 wide the Condor 130 m * 113 the tree 75 x 77 m the parrot 84 x 220 m wide the spider 45 x 28 m the dog 49 m technically the Natkaa lines are perfect straight lines in kilometres drawn with very small angles of deviation the most realistic hypothesis about their construction is that they made small scale drawings subsequently brought enlarged to the ground with the help of rope nets yes [Music] we returned to the ground safe and sound not exactly in the safe sense yes safe a little less so thanks Francesco francesco thanks minotito flight certificate fotito frente Yes yes and after an hour this is the situation ouch but after 2 hours of recovery we are recovering I’m still alive come on you had hoped now pro let’s see if he can resume his role as a teacher let’s try to take you to another very interesting place let’s see if we can do it quick update taxi called takes us waits for us and takes us back to the structure all for the modest sum of converted into euros €15 [Music] we arrived we arrived the ticket for the entrance 20 soles about €5 our driver waits for us we have disoles but the rest sculpe but sculpe thanks we are in the direction of the entrance and in the meantime you see this canal yes because we are taking you to one of the most extraordinary engineering works of the entire pre-Inca period namely the Cantal aqueduct and now look with us at what they had thought barra built 1500 years ago some lithic holes with a hole inside but to make you understand a little what they were for look at this image in overlay basically they made a slightly inclined hole under the ground that went to take a layer and these huge holes that we often see built at a distance of 15 20 30 m were inspection holes in fact as if we go along a spiral path we can gradually descend until we reach the level of the water table so from this perspective you understand well that the water flows underneath us to flow into a point established by them which was used for the irrigation of the surrounding fields furthermore these holes were not only used for inspection but also for a pressure issue and here we stop otherwise we transform this video into a long speech it is clear that in such a desert area this technology this engineering was fundamental and it still is today because they are still in operation because they are part of a system of 30 aqueducts present here in Nazka even if we are under the municipality of Cantao furthermore with the fact that the water flows underground there is also a function of cleaning the natural water going up towards the north we practically have five inspection holes [Music] and another characteristic the rocks that you see around from containment did not have and do not have a sort of cement mortar that held them together let’s go back along the road so you can also see the curve that these inspection holes made think that these holes are over 1500 years old think about the place think about the technology used is something really crazy the technique as you can see is that of the CANAC of a canal that was dug and made to penetrate the aquifers for this and for the lack of writings some object that they are not the work of the Nazca culture but of the Spanish therefore in a later period not even the Spanish left any writings nor did they say that they had made these very advanced engineering works for the time all this to tell you that in practice we do not have the answer just as there is no answer for the Nasca lines now however we literally flee from this place as you can understand the humidity present and consequently a truly hallucinatory quantity of midges this is the last inspection hole surely here below us the water flows which then comes out there at the bottom in fact here we can go down in level have another small inspection hole and see the water come out come with us right at this point and flow to where the designer had thought it could be useful for the community this water was in fact essential both for irrigation and for domestic use and I do not deny that walking right here thinking about the years thinking about the history thinking about the place is truly truly almost exciting finally the canal flows into a collection basin now however write in the comments what you think but above all how fascinating these things are guys good morning today we leave again from the Panamericana at the point where the road cuts one of the very famous figures of the Natka lines practically that infinite plain that you saw from the plane is this in fact we see the planes flying above us the figure unfortunately to be cut by the Panamericana Sur is that of the lizard there at the end there should be a sort of observatory to be able to see the lines without taking the classic airplane even if obviously the view will be much much more restricted and here it is closer obviously also for this miradoro you have to buy a ticket but we recommend even if you then saw how those airplanes ended up there look he flashes at me because he has to pass understood for love go all for love we going for love for be heart the ch love go all for love we going for love baby going for love for love you get it right but don’t get me wrong say what you got Go [Music] what you got say what you got say take the take for hope and Go long

Molto bravi. Avanti tutta.

  10. Ma dove ci portateeee…..
Posti incantevoli, misteriosi e quasi mistici
Francesco, non ti facevo così timoroso per il volo; io e mia moglie abbiamo utilizzato un aereo simile al vostro ( un Fokker appena più grande) da Flores (Guatemala) a Belize City ed è stato divertente
