I was at the temple to attend the door opening ceremony, but the experience was so much more than that. I also spoke to many different people in Kedarnath to bring a wide array of stories from the place – my plan was to do more, but maybe another time now…

I hope they fixed the broken drainage. Last year, it was pouring on the stairs towards the temple, and everyone was going through the drainage water, even those who visited the sanctum sanctorum, before touching the main idol.

But let's get the history right please.
The history recited in the video is not quite right!!
First Pancha pandavas they went to down south to Madurai (~in Tamilnadu) and meditated Parasakhti Parvati Maa who is preset as Goddess Meenakshi at Madurai …upon receiving the darshan of Meenakshi.Meenakshi Maa instructed them to go to kedarnath where they will get darshan of her Pati Shivji…they travelled back to north on the way stopped at Madurai of North (~ present day we call Mathura ~Mathura dham) …upon meditating on SriKirshna there…. SriKirshna appeared before them and told you will get darshan of Shivaji but he might appear in any form ….after that they reached Kedarnath…upon meditating Shivaji for several days….a bull appeared before them running here and there crossing them…upon which Bheem realised the words sirKrishnan instructed them and he ran swiftly to catch the bull…he managed to catch the tail of it and the bull was trying to enter a cave into a rock….as soon as the brothers jumped in to pull the bull out and caught its tail … immediately tail become shiv ling…and remained till day
Later years …Sri Adi Shankaracharya who is the incarnation of Lord Shviji idenitwfd the place …. Was instrumental in building a temple there

Totally loved this video for it's different take on Kedarnath yatra. The waste management project is a must and credit to the whole team. As believers we also need to take responsibility and manage our own waste have respect for the beautiful surroundings in which our beloved Babaji resides ❤🙏🕉️.
