Therefore, I bring rice balls and apples to save money. I don’t hold back and eat a lot when I’m traveling 😋 This time, my destination is Austria. The purpose of the trip is to look for antiques and vintage items. I also want to eat Sachertorte, which originated in Vienna, Austria 😋 This is my first time using Austrian Airlines. Major airlines distribute snacks during the flight. This time, the snack is chocolate 😋 I arrived in Vienna. A large suitcase is a necessity for bringing back vintage items. I’ve been using it for about 10 years, so it’s worn out 😂 I bought a train ticket to the city center 🙌 I’m taking this train [ÖBB] S-Bahn. I arrived at Vienna Central Station, where the hotel is located. This time I’m staying at an apartment hotel. There is a kitchen, so I can make simple dishes. It’s nice to have a microwave. There’s even a refrigerator! It’s a nice, clean, and stylish room. There’s still time before sunset, so let’s go out into town. There are colorful buildings lined up. At that time, they were used like taxis. Now they can be used for sightseeing. They are also protected as part of the landscape and cultural heritage. The sound of horse hoofs seems to have a healing effect. Vienna flourished as the capital of the Habsburg Empire, so there are many buildings with high artistic value. The lit-up buildings are beautiful and it’s fun to take a walk at night ♪ Now, there’s another place I want to go to today. A sausage stand that is very popular in Vienna. You can experience the traditional Viennese street food culture. I ordered a cheese sausage called Käsekrainer. It came with bread. It’s a big, hearty sausage 😋 with a rich, rich taste that goes well with alcohol! In fact, many people were eating it while drinking alcohol. Even the electric lights of Vienna are beautiful. The bells are ringing. It’s time to go back to the hotel. I returned to the hotel. I made a detour to the supermarket and bought some food for tomorrow. Tomorrow I will visit the flea market. I’ll take the train and bus to get there. I like riding trains and buses in unfamiliar places. I often get on the wrong train 😅 but I’ll get on the bus at the end. A glass chicken figurine 🐔 I kinda want it, but it’s heavy so it seems like it would be difficult to carry. I like the carriage in the back. I’m going to buy this carriage figurine 🐎💕 Let’s take a look. I found a picture from an old botanical encyclopedia. It’s fun to choose your favorite one by one from the many. I came to the Prunksaal. Austria’s largest and most important library in Vienna. It was completed around 1730. It originated from a library founded by Rudolf IV in the 14th century. The baroque-style great hall is said to be one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. It’s beautiful and mesmerizing. The ceiling is decorated with a fresco by Daniel Gran, a famous 18th century court painter. It depicts the deified Emperor Charles VI. Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI. He is the monarch who ordered the construction of the library in 1723. It is filled with ancient documents and books from the 16th to 18th centuries. It is a very valuable facility from the perspective of culture, history, and architecture. I feel like I have traveled back in time. Recently, I’ve been buying magnets when I travel. The last one is a wooden plate. Austria has a long history of woodworking culture, and many items are hand-carved and hand-painted. Especially in the Alps, there is a tradition of hand-painting wooden products with floral patterns. There is a clasp on the back so you can hang it on the wall. Each pattern is hand-painted one by one. Each one is unique and wonderful. A simple and warm pattern. I also like how the painted parts are slightly uneven.
