I visited “”Showa Kinen Park”” in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, Japan. This place is known for its spectacular golden ginkgo trees that fascinate many people during the autumn season. In particular, the Katarai Ginkgo Trees, which are about 300 meters long, look like a magnificent corridor woven by nature.

Showa Kinen Park is a vast national park that was originally built on the site of the former Tachikawa Air Base. When I look back on its history, I feel a strange sense of the intertwining of past and present. Especially in November, when the sun sets, the rows of ginkgo trees are very beautiful as they change from golden yellow to orange, and the sky turns a deep navy blue. The sight of the ginkgo leaves swaying in the wind and falling one by one makes it seem as if time itself is passing quietly by.
In addition, in the Japanese garden in the park, the sound of Shishi-Odoshi gently breaks the autumn silence, evoking a somewhat nostalgic feeling. This park is a mysterious place that offers visitors a special moment of peace, even though it is a new place.
日本、東京都の立川市にある「昭和記念公園」を訪れてまいりました。この場所は、秋の季節になると黄金色に輝くイチョウ並木が見事で、多くの方々を魅了することで知られています。特に、全長約300メートルにわたる「かたらいのイチョウ並木」は、まるで自然が織りなす壮麗な回廊のようです。
