Arrived at HOTEL WIVA, a 15-minute walk from here to the inn . ¥14,848 for 3 nights (breakfast included) A room for 3 people, just under ¥5,000 per night . Bought water at Migros, a nearby supermarket that is spacious and has a refrigerator, for 15 TL (60 yen) (I later learned that it was expensive) Yogurt 90 TL (360 yen), Orange 33 TL (132 yen) Breakfast Chai, sweet chocolate bread, not sweet buttery bread This day is sightseeing First , walk for about 20 minutes to the Blue Mosque.Admission is free.This mosque is also called the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, and is located across from the Blue Mosque , which was built in 1616 by Sultan Ahmet I, the 14th generation of the Ottoman Empire.The Hagia Sophia was originally a Christian Orthodox cathedral built during the Eastern Roman Empire.The entrance fee is 25€ (4,000 yen). Skip it because it’s too expensive Topkapi Palace The palace where the monarch of the Ottoman Empire resided The entrance fee is 2000 TL (8000 yen) It’s too expensive, so we skipped it.We moved to Gulhane Park, which is close to Topkapi Palace.Gulhane Park is a nice park full of tulips.We walked down to the seaside.We walked to Galata Tower.We walked over there.It ‘s crowded with anglers as we cross the Galata Bridge.We can catch a lot of fish.Galata Tower.It was built as a watchtower by Genoese merchants around the 14th century.The entrance fee is 30€ (4,900 yen).It’s too expensive, so we skip it.The name of the mackerel sandwich shop for lunch is Sokak. Lezzeti Tarihi Balık Dürümcü Mehmet Usta mackerel sandwich 200TL (800 yen) The salty taste is not too strong with herbs such as oregano A little expensive for the quantity It is just a modern shopping mall waterfront that came to Galataport where Istanbul Museum of Contemporary Art is located and has a nice atmosphere. Take the cable car from Kabataş station near the mall, Arrive at Taksim Square , which is well-equipped with a cable to get to Taksim Square.It is famous and crowded, but there is nothing special to see.A monument to the founding of the Republic of Turkey.Retro tram line 2.Transfer to Egyptian Bazaar by metro line 2.Get off at Halıç station on the bridge over the Golden Horn.Walk towards the old city side.Egyptian Bazaar The mall is clean and there are a lot of souvenirs on sale. I didn’t see the prices, but I think they are probably expensive. Walking from the Egyptian Bazaar, I headed towards the Grand Bazaar. Arrived at the Grand Bazaar. The entrance had a nice atmosphere. Inside , I got the impression that it wasn’t very crowded and there were many accessory and apparel shops. I returned to the inn and had dinner nearby at Pratik. Self Servis roast chicken half, rice 160TL (640 yen) The chicken was freshly grilled and the skin was crispy and delicious.There was no seasoning on the chicken, so I sprinkled it with seasoning from a sachet for breakfast. Chai, coffee, sweet chocolate bread x 2, mysterious sweets (I didn’t eat them) Today I took the tram to the boat terminal for the Bosphorus cruise.I got off one place before my destination.The road was closed and there was a marathon race at the ticket office.The price for the Bosphorus cruise was 250 TL (1000 yen). July 15th Pass through the Martyrs’ Bridge and turn around just before Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge There is a famous mackerel sandwich boat near the ticket office.The price at all shops is 225 TL (900 yen). July 15th Martyr’s Bridge Passing through the Galata Bridge near the port on the new city side where the Galata Tower is located , exiting from the Golden Horn to the Bosphorus Strait On July 15, 2016, soldiers blocked the bridge due to an attempted coup d’état staged by a section of the military. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge The name comes from the Ottoman Emperor Mehmed II, who conquered Istanbul. At this point, turn around and go back the way you came. It’s a quadruple room with a kitchen and a dormitory bathroom with a beautiful balcony . Lunch at Haydar Usta Döner, which is a little cheaper at 130TL (520 yen), but this time I ordered HAMSI TAVA 150 TL (600 yen) The fried sardines, lettuce, and pan fries have no seasoning, so put salt and sauce on them. Another triple room with water, tea, and coffee . No partition between shower and toilet. . . Nevizade Kokoreç going out for dinner – Erdal Usta Midier dolma and Midier taba (fried mussels) are being cooked in the back Midier taba (fries) 100 TL (400 yen), Midier dolma (rice) 60 TL (240 yen) Bread Free Midier Taba has a mild sauce taste. Midier Dolma is a curry-flavored pilaf, mussels, and authentic Turkish ice cream sweets eaten with a squeeze of lemon. A famous WET BURGER shop. Kızılkayalar WET BURGER 90TL (360 yen) The taste is as good as the reputation. Taksim, the mosque in Taksim Square. The tram was running through the crowds going to Taksim Square at night, which was modern with built-in Mosque lights.Today was the last day to check out the hotel.We took a bus to the Harbiyeh Military Museum.In the garden of the free zone, weapons such as cannons are displayed.There is a huge rotating artillery battery and a T-26-B F104 fighter plane.By the way, the exhibition inside is 600 TL (2400 yen) too expensive, so we skipped the nearest metro Osmanbey On the way to the station, I stopped at a fancy gelato shop. Strawberry 95 TL (380 yen) Pistachio 95 TL (380 yen) Fairly expensive, but refreshing and delicious. Arriving at Osmanbey station on metro line 2. There are countless grilled corn stalls in Istanbul. I had been curious about it since the first day, but I bought it here. Grilled corn 50 TL (200 yen) It was a bit undercooked and lukewarm , but the taste was relatively sweet and had a grainy flavor, which was better than I expected.I headed towards Istanbul Airport on Metro Line 2.
