The Nintendo Museum, located in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, opened its doors on October 2, 2024. Housed in Nintendo’s former Uji Ogura Plant, where the company once produced playing cards and repaired toys, the museum offers a comprehensive journey through Nintendo’s rich history, from its origins in 1889 to its current status as a gaming industry leader.

  1. A lot of the stuff you filmed you weren’t allowed to. Which was weird cuz most of it was stuff people already owned (consoles, game boxes, etc). It was fun and the nostalgia was cool, but it’s not really a must-visit. It’s a nice to visit, okay at best. The tickets are hard to get, so if you don’t snag one, you’re really not missing out too much.

  2. I was in Kyoto twice and did not win the lotteries 😅 Must visit? Yeah, only if you are lucky to get picked 🌚

  3. Nintendo Needs to make Video Exhibitions for the display explaining its History Why Nintendo is a Japanese Legend. Also if You Bring a sWitch or NS2 a Video UPLoad Plays to explain the Tour. Right Now it Looks More Like a Store needs to be for Historical Educations in FUN.
