Karuizawa is my second hometown. I grew up in Niigata Shi, but we had a summer house in Karuizawa and spent every July and August there when I was growing up in the 70s. We actually had a house on Kumoba pond at one time, but it was sold, and we moved into another across the street and up the mountain a short way. I had an amazing childhood. 😃
i love hokuriku, specially karuizawa and kanazawa. Been there for two times, still waiting for another trip. I'm from indonesia and Japan Always amaze me, even after 3 times going there. my next trip will be november, i hope i can go to hokuriku arch
