A FESTA MEDIEVAL MAIS INSANA da Europa! Ep 207

which is here every year in February and the city is completely full of people just like the medieval ones, God. The last few days here have been a lot of walking. Duda and I walk around 17 km a day within the cities. We passed through the city of Zaragoza, where we stayed there for three days. The city offers a very large place for you to stay with a motorhome practically within the city, but you have to walk about 3 km to get to the center. And then Duda and I walked every day. There was a really cool restaurant that I had seen on Instagram and I wanted to visit, which is like entering the world of the Hobbit, you know from that movie? So we went there, but it was kind of disappointing because I had seen a lot of influencers on Instagram talking really good about the place, and you know… the expectations and the reality were pretty bad. The reality was not as expected. That’s why I say: never trust these influencers who go to restaurants, especially to eat for free, because they lie to you, okay? The food was not very good, it arrived completely cold, horrible service. The decor was really cool, you know? Very pretty. If you want to go there to take photos, take videos, go there, but don’t go with the expectation that it will be very good food, which you won’t find there. Now we arrive here in Teruel. These last few days we have been taking the opportunity to rest without recording much. I think I’m in a recording burnout, because we’ve been recording practically every day since we bought Jube back in 2021. And now I’ve lost it, you know? But then I see so many cool things that we do, and we love having our history recorded for us to see when we’re really old, you know? At home, having a chimarrão, eating popcorn, on Sunday, Duda and I were there, two white heads, looking at our videos and saying: “Wow, remember, old man? How cool it was that time, that trip to Teruel!” Yesterday we went for a walk around the city. When we got here, the parking lot — it’s not camping, okay? — parking that the city provides for motorhomes was 11 am, and then there was no one here. We think it’s strange, but it’s okay, right? We left Kong, walked half an hour to the area, and when we got there, you have no idea! We didn’t even take the camera to record, but we couldn’t help it, right? He pulled out his cell phone and took some images. We arrived at a party! It’s very famous here in Teruel and part of Spain, it’s called the Lovers’ Festival. So, every year in February there is a celebration and the entire city turns into a medieval city. People dress in those clothes, you know? Like Vikings, medievals, lots of animal skin coats, people with makeup… man, it feels like we went in, pressed the little button and entered another dimension. Very cool! Now we’re going to take a look there and see if there’s anything there. We also ate some churros here yesterday, my goodness, the best churros I’ve ever had! Very good! Kong is here, look, in this vacancy, the only vacancy he had yesterday. As you can see, lots of trucks pass here all the time, it’s noisy, but it’s worth it to visit the city. And as you can also see, Duda didn’t buy the shoes for Kong, he’s there wearing the chains. He went there to see if he could find a straighter spot. That’s it, we’re going to stay like this, everything is crooked, everything is crooked. At least these chains that I put on the tire here provide some relief. We only have, I don’t know, a gap of around 1.5%, almost 2%, but that’s what we have today, okay? Okay, okay, Kong behave yourself. Oh, and for you who might be thinking: “Oh, but why don’t they buy a [ __ ] for Kong?” We can’t find it. The Kong weighs 12 tons, and the shoes we can find to level the motorhome, the truck, anything, are about 8 tons at most. And actually, there’s one you can buy that looks like tiles, it’s a super heavy stone. I went to see the weight there, exactly almost the same weight as the chains I have there. And at least I shape the chain, it looks perfect, it solves the problem. So, why put yet another heavy business there? Isn’t it true? Yes. It’s not even that, it’s because we can’t even find it. We ‘re looking, I mean, we’re not finding any motorhome store for us. we buy the “coquinho” there to put in the poop. The “little poop”, wow, that was a big leap, right? I bought it from a pet business, because you can’t find it in motorhome stores. Oh, as you can already see here, oh, everything is deserted, oh! Lots of land. There’s a martinho that is a semi-arid desert, right? So, have you ever watched that “Vikings” movie on Netflix? The scenario is exactly the same! It’s very similar, arid, right? Yes! I can’t wait for us to go into these mountains with Kong and stay for a few days. Because this camping thing in the middle of the city, look, it’s cool for visiting the city, but hey… Want to speed up the point? It’s a racket! Truck passing by, garbage truck, tractor, uncle with a two-stroke motorcycle. Relax, relax, tomorrow we’re going to Cânion Vermelho, Cânion Rojo, and I think you’ll be able to speed up there and stay calm. We’re going to the middle of the woods, cool! huh, this is a very small city in the Aragon region, in Spain. It is in eastern Spain. It is very famous for the legend that exists here, which is compared to Romeo and Juliet, which is that of the Lovers of Teruel. That party we were having yesterday, which is held here every year in February. The city is completely full of people, just like the medieval people who dressed up at the time. There’s a theater there in the square, they cook in the middle of the street with gigantic pans of food, paella. It’s very cool! This city here was a surprise for us. And there is also something that is very famous, which is Jamón de Teruel. Everything is closed today, Monday. Will we find a little jamon there for us to eat? This region here in Spain is very famous because several dinosaur fossils have been found here. So much so that right next door, where we are with Kong, there is a place called Dinópolis. It’s like Jurassic Park. Duda doesn’t even know, right? Dinopolis! There are a lot of dinosaurs there. I already looked to see if we could go today and see. There are some very large, very cool replicas, but it is closed today, Monday. Many things don’t open, so that’s for another time, right? I was impressed how quick these guys are here to clean and dismantle the medieval city. It feels like a different place today! Yesterday, when we passed this bridge here — we’re crossing over a very large bridge — it was like, look, we couldn’t even walk properly with so many people. It’s not like I was looking at any women, okay? But let me tell you: there were some super typical, pretty girls, with cool things in their hair, eating a chicken leg, looking like Etruscans, you know? Not afraid of dying, no! But it’s true, he ‘s serious. I agree with him. There were some characterized women, you know? Those medieval women, with tupetes, super beautiful fur clothes, sitting on the stairs, all dirty, eating like Shrek. If we’re around here, I’m going to buy a little medieval outfit to dress up! It seems like there was something similar to this last night. The people even came with a torch, they turned off all the lights in the city and were left with just a torch, truly living medieval life. It was better than Disney! Next year, if we have Kong around, we’ll make a point of coming and dressing up, just like we did at Oktoberfest. Let’s put on medieval clothes! Now, magically, you will be transported to a medieval village. The question that doesn’t want to be silenced: where are that pile of people who were here yesterday? The buses I saw leaving the city said Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona… In other words, the whole of Spain came here to see what was happening. And I believe it, because it was so full, so full! Here in Teruel there are several UNESCO heritage sites. There’s this tower in front, called Torre de São Martim, super beautiful. It’s a very different architecture, they call it “mudéjar”, which is a mix of Christian and Islamic architecture. So you see here several towers, some things that even resemble mosques. When we were in Morocco a couple of years ago, we saw a lot of this style there: tall towers, lots of green, blue and white. Very different from other places in Spain. I had never heard of that. It seems to be typical of this region here, Mudéjar. If I If I’m wrong, someone correct me, please, because I don’t speak any Spanish, ok? It’s for this little tea, you know? I like little flowers, we like churches too. Every church we pass by, we always go in to see. I love little flowers, but I also like church, right? We liked going in to see the architecture, the difference between the churches. It looks like the ceiling here is listed by UNESCO. It must be really beautiful, let me go in there and see it too. Let’s go into the church… It’s closed! He said it only opens at 4. Now it’s 3 in the afternoon. You have to pay €6 to enter. What a joke, right? In church you can’t take photos, you can’t film. So let’s go back next year, dressed to the nines. It’s closed! For sure! Today the tour around the city was very quick, right? There was nothing, everything is closed. Wow, what a difference! I’m glad we came yesterday, because it’s a different city, a different atmosphere. Now it’s time to go back to Kong and plan our next destination for tomorrow, which is a place I’m really looking forward to visiting. It reminds me a little bit of Jube’s time, you know? When we went to the state of Utah, in the United States, which has several canyons, red and orange rocks. There’s one called Cañón Rojo, we’re going there tomorrow. It’s a little far from the city, a little close to the desert. I think it’s going to be really cool. How long from now? Is it 10 minutes? 10 minutes from here? So you don’t need to plan anything! Let’s stay in this city a little longer. Oh, let me tell you something very important for those who enjoy this type of tour in canyons and remote places: always keep an eye on the time. The idea was to go tomorrow, but talking about it now, I remembered that rain is forecast tomorrow. And when it rains in these places, it’s not very good for you to be there. You’ve heard of “waterheads”, right? Those storms, sometimes it’s raining further up and then when you see it, you’re stuck in the water. Tomorrow there is a forecast of heavy rain up there, said the weather woman. I challenge you: we will go tomorrow! No, no, no, go Wednesday! Seriously, I thought Kong was going to fall, he took a turn like that, oh, I’m even sweating cold here now.

So apertar o botão e nivela sozinho 🤌🏻
