Hello everyone, konnichiwa! Thank you for watching our video. Today, we’re going to hanging around “Shin-Sekai” area. Shin-Sekai means “new world” in Japanese. The area has been a classic Osaka sightseeing spot in Japan – With local food such as Kushi-katsu, and iconic Tsutenkaku tower. Now it’s becoming famous among tourists from abroad, too. Now we are at JR Shin-Imamiya station, taking one train from Osaka station. We are heading to the lively destination from here. Enjoy as if you actually walk! You can see a tall building, Abeno Harukas, Osaka’s highest office building. You can go up and look down the view from 300m high. It is at the next station from Shin-Imamiya and it takes only 15 mins to walk. This is Jan-Jan yokocho (arcade). Here are many famous local foods. Kushi-katsu, mix juice (said Osaka’s specialty) cafe, udon noodles etc. At Shinsekai Market, each shop decorates their fronts with humorous and playful posters They make jokes related to their merchandise. That is very Osaka-ish thing. Thank you for walking with us today in Osaka.
