Japanese flea market : Kobo market/Held on the 21st of every month / Kyoto JAPAN
The Kobo Market at Toji Temple near Kyoto Station is a popular event that attracts 200,000 people every month. There are about 1,000 stores selling antiques, paintings, food and drink, clothing, and original products by artists, and it can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Kobo Market is held on the 21st of every month at Toji Temple in Kyoto. This temple is a 15-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The market is held even in rainy weather, and starts at 8:30 AM and stays open until 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM depending on the season. The temple opens at 5:30 AM, and when I went there at 8 AM, all the shops were already open.
