We had many recommendations to try Manam the last time we visited Manila and totally missed out. So, I’m glad this time around we had the opportunity to try Manam. Trying this elevated Filipino comfort food was an amazing experience.

I’ve said how Filipino food is very underrated and should get more attention. So, if you are visiting the Manila and want to truly get an appreciation for Filipino food, visit Manam. This Filipino comfort food restaurant totally blew me away. They put their own spin on the popular foods of the Philippines, making a simple dish like sisig into a flavor bomb in your mouth.

    Tbh I've only tried sisig once and it might've just been the restaurant I tried it in. It really put me off so I never tried it again but next time I must!!!! El Nido is so beautiful honestly 😍
