北海道立流氷科学センター「GIZA」は、オホーツク海の流氷について楽しく学べる施設だよ。場所は紋別市にあって、流氷の仕組みや生態系についての展示があるんだけど、最大の目玉は「流氷体感室」！ここでは本物の流氷に触れることができて、室内の温度はなんとマイナス20℃。めちゃくちゃ寒いけど、流氷を直接触る機会なんてなかなかないから貴重な体験だね。
ほかにも、流氷をテーマにしたシアターや、クリオネ（流氷の天使）を間近で見られる水槽もあったりして、子どもから大人まで楽しめる感じ。オホーツクに行くなら、流氷観光とセットで寄るのもアリ！

Here you can touch real drift ice, and the temperature inside is a mere -20°C. It’s really cold, but it’s a rare opportunity to touch drift ice directly, so it’s a valuable experience.
There’s also a drift ice-themed theater and an aquarium where you can see sea angels (drift ice angels) up close, so it’s fun for both children and adults. If you’re going to Okhotsk, it’s a good idea to stop by in combination with a drift ice tour!
