Families display Hina dolls leading up to the festival and take them down promptly after, as an old wives’ tale warns that delaying might delay a daughter’s marriage! 😲
One of the most unique and heartwarming customs of this festival is the floating of paper dolls on a pond, a symbolic act to wish for children’s health and happiness. 🕊️💖
