  1. Wrong about the coffee. Cheapest Ground coffee is from around 25 DKK. But there are a lot in the 40'ties in standard prices. BUT they are on sale A LOT for 25-35 DKK.

  2. The potatoes are not really "pickel" they are good for fast cooking and for making those sugary brown ones.

  3. Thats why I by my grosier in gernamy the taxis is simpel to hig her in denmark, but just Living 20 km from gernamy

  4. i know this is old but maaan you really should have gotten some cocio, they are some of the best in the world served cold ofc

  5. Dane here… Just want to say, this is probably the most sucky and incoret video about shopping food here I've ever seen 🤦🤦🤦🤦 We weigh most of our greens BTW 🙄

  6. Kødboller are meat balls in english, love the enthusiasm thinking it's small burger patty balls but no they are regular meat balls sadly

  7. denmark is way cheaper then sweden, swedens take tripes to fill up on food in denmark. lol

dude knows very little and is just saying random shit like an american would.

  8. next time you will be here in copenhagen give me a call plz…you can stay with me and wife for a few days and you are welcome to use the kitchen or eat with us or alone^^

  9. YO I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS A FULL FLÆSKESTEGSSANDWICH KIT IN FØTEX?? THATS SO FIRE TBH, THATS GONNA HELP ALOT WHEN I MOVE OUT :3

  10. Salling mostly has supermarkets but they are from Northern Jutland, where they also have a luxury department store (in Aalborg) with a very nice rooftop terrace that not many Danes seem to know about.
Carlsberg used to cost about 3kr a tin back in the mid 90s. And price even now is still very reasonable. When I hear about grocery prices in the USA (I have a Danish friend who lives there) it just makes me laugh. Also there is VAT on food here – and it's still often cheaper than the UK where there is no VAT on food. We have it good here.

  11. Dude, as a Swede we have to pay 160 Swedish krones for 100 Denish krones. Ex: a car for a million in sweden is 1.6 milion in denmark if I get paid in Sweden and want to buy it in Denmark I say that is expencive if on get paid in Swedish krones. Bad currency is what it is, monopoly style all the way.

  12. Insider here. Salling is just a brand name the store company slaps on pretty much every product. They buy from other producers and often sell them for cheaper as they have the infrastructure to make it profitable. The 2 main egg brands in Salling stores are Dava and Salling. The Salling ones are made by Dava as well though!

  13. You just pointed so many NONE HUMAN food sections. Horrible choices that are poisonous for your body. From chips, canned food, seed oils, white bread or toast, pre made food etc. You need to learn making your own food from scratch without pesticides or junk that will ruin your body.
And…. Carlsberg beers are plain awful. Try an east European beer and you will understand

  14. Salling is actually not so much a brand as a company. Some of our stores like Føtex, Bilka and Netto are owned by Salling.

  15. Listing a lot of prices only makes sense if they are compared to peoples income/wages. For example how long do you have to work in order to buy some specific grocery. The prices alone do not mean much.

  16. As a Dane, I get very excited when we find different kinds of liver patés in other countries.

So I get the excitement for the ketchup flavored chips. 😂

  17. Box wine here in Denmark MAGAtards are commonly called "Chateau-du-pap"… Now you know! HEIL TRUMP! 🫡

  18. cocio is ver old and is very expensive because of the ingredients and its danish duh

  19. Hii as a dane i love seing this and you dont rly put leverpostej on crakers more on rugbrød and thats like very helthy Bread so yea
Hav en god dag og rød grød med fløde😂😂😂😂😂

And btw sorry if my typing is bad 😅

  20. Wait they dont have cocio in America???? I thought it was like one if those huge things like coke or redbull but for chocolate milk

  21. it was spidskål not hvidkål/rødkål, way different taste and we have both variants but the spidskål is quite popular because it is milder in the taste
and she called leverpostej for FISH… NO! That is LIVER… a sort of paté… and we eat it on BREAD sourdough rye bread aka "blackbread" rugbrød… crackers we usually use for "cheese"

the chocolate milk is NOT sirup in the bottom… that is the actually chocolate part… and it's obviously heavier than the milk part so they can separate… and no they are not in the fridge since it is not needed… they can be served both cold and warm depending on taste.

Salling is the STORE BRAND… KIMS is more of a country brand.

  22. The price you pay is per item yes, but the prices per kilo is usually displayed in fine print on the price tag so you can choose whatever is cheapest per kilo.

And liverpaster/leverpostej, goes on smørrebrød lol, not crackers. Smørrebrød is made with the ''seedy'' ryebread you found, topped with various meats, fish, condiments and veggies. Traditional lunch option.
The cocio is only made with highly sterilized milk, cocoa powder and sugar, nothing else, no syrup.
Salling is the owner of the big stores, føtex, bilka and if im not mistaken netto aswell. The Salling ''brand'' is the no-name brand

  23. Wonder when you go to Norway? The food is fantastic if you find the right place to be in and try to buy direct from the fishermen at the harbour

  24. Coffee is very expensive all over the world because of transportation issues and inflation. Also chocholate is very high priced now. Its not a danish price issue. Its worldwide.
