Hi guys, @pie_aerts back again. Besides only allowing a selected number of vehicles into the parks, there’s more reasons to visit Botswana. Where many African countries most of the times chase the big five by tracking radio collared animals, the Okavango region requires decent, very decent guiding in order to spot those few needles in a haystack.
Thanks to the epic bushman skills of our guide Kane and some mad ancient tracking methods, we came accross these lions on the second day already.
It’s absolutely nuts to tell by the tracks of an animal its sex, age, speed, physical condition, time of passing and even whether it’s hungry, angry or lonely. Wanna know more about that? Check out the stories. Ill be puttings up some mad video’s later. Or check out @pie_aerts to see more footage.
