Chris and I are taking an overnight trip to Nagahama in Shiga Prefecture to try craft beer and locally distilled whisky. Founded in 2016, Nagahama, the smallest whisky distillery in Japan, has been operated by Roman Beer, which has specialized in beer brewing since 1996.
