We’d just been through the most hectic few months of our lives. We got locked out of all our old accounts and it felt like we had nothing. All our hopes and dreams of what we had started to build with the brand, all of a sudden felt gone, just one day it was there the next it wasn’t. We realised that we still had each other as mates and enough cash in our pocket for a couple of months off the grid in rogue Indonesia. We booked a one way ticket to the north and just surfed from dawn till dusk everyday and it was one some of the best times of our lives. When we arrived back to civilisation we decided the best idea was to drop everything and put all our time and effort into restarting, this was first base.
