It has also been selected as one of Japan’s three major Hirayama castles.
The castle ruins have been maintained as Kakuzan Park, and it is also a famous cherry blossom viewing spot that has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots.
Mori Tadamasa began construction of the castle in 1603 and completed it in 1616.
This is a video of a 48-year-old bachelor who silently visited the castle by himself.
