I visited the Scarecrow Festival in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. While Ebina has now become a popular town with tower apartments rising from the redevelopment, just a bit away from the station lies the old rural countryside.
This year’s Scarecrow Festival focused too much on children’s art projects. I preferred how it used to be before. I think having more impressive works would attract more attention.
Minor spot walking. Mostly, I walk through ordinary, nothing-special areas. Although Night Walk videos are trending, I prefer the wholesome Daytime Walk.

日本、神奈川県の海老名のかかし祭りにいってきました。今の海老名は、再開発でタワマンが立ち並ぶ人気の街になっていますが、ちょっと駅を離れると昔ながらの田園地帯です。
今回のかかし祭りは、作品が子どもの図画工作発表会が主流になりすぎているので、ちょっと前くらいの方がよかったかな。すごい作品を揃えたほうが話題性を喚起できると思います。
マイナースポットウォーキング。主になんでもない普通の地域を歩きます。Night Walk動画が流行っているようですが、私は、健全なDaytime walk派です。
