  1. What an incredible room! I don't know why, but when I saw your pics from this experience on Instagram, I assumed that this place was some sort of Japanese Airbnb equivalent and that you had a family living in the house with you. 😂 Come to find out it's a legitimate hotel with concierge, room service and a private hot spring…the cultured traveler's dream! Do my eyes deceive me, or did the room include a separate set of slippers specifically for the bathroom? The onsen had an incredible view out into the garden. Lookin' good in those yukatas, guys! There was a lot on the dinner table that I did not recognize at all, but I will never not partake of Miso Soup 🤤 Chad's reaction to the sour dish would have been mine as well, I am not a fan of sour candies haha but I love chestnuts! Great info in the debrief, too. I think it'll be quite awhile before we build out an itinerary for any future trip(s) to Japan, but it's good to know that you didn't really run into a language barrier…makes it more accessible to those of us who would reeeeeeaaallly struggle trying to learn Japanese haha great video, you two! ✨

  2. What an incredible experience. This is such a great resource for tourists who want to visit this historic town. I think I would also do the dinner and town and breakfast option. Love that you two put on yukatas. The Hana onsen was beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
