French diver Jacques Mayol, who is also known as the model for the film “The Big Blue” was taught how to free dive by fishermen in Higashi Karatsu, and it was in the sea of ​​Karatsu that he first encountered dolphins. Listening to the soothing sounds of rain, we walked through the sea of ​​Karatsu and the town of Higashi Karatsu. The wind was very strong on Maizuru Bridge, and it was a bit scary as my umbrella was about to be blown away.
唐津湾を挟んで唐津城と東唐津（虹の松原）を結ぶ舞鶴橋を越えて雨と風の強い東唐津を散策しました。映画「グラン・ブルー」のモデルとしても知られるフランス人ダイバー、ジャック マイヨールは東唐津の漁師に素潜りを教わり、初めてイルカに会ったのが唐津の海でした。心地よい雨音を聞きながら唐津の海と東唐津の街を歩きました。舞鶴橋の上は非常に風が強く傘が飛ばされそうになり少し怖かったです。
