I was watching the drama *Danchi no Futari* starring Satomi Kobayashi and Kyoko Koizumi, and thought, “Alright, let’s visit a danchi.” So over the weekend, I made my way to Kirigaoka Danchi in Kita Ward, Tokyo. Interestingly, the drama was actually filmed at Takiyama Danchi, which I’ve visited before. My route took me from the now-dilapidated Kirigaoka Chuo Shopping Street to M’s Town Akabanedai, located within the newly rebuilt Nouvel Akabane-dai complex.
