most Tokyo tourists aren’t aware of the adventures that await in the nearby coastal areas but here at Malo point you can stay by the ocean hang with the friendly crew and take a surfer sub tour I did exactly that starting with a surf lesson with XPR Surfer and local Legend USA ensei things are off to a somewhat rough start but thanks to his expert instruction I was able to catch some waves and have the Time of My Life Next was a subtour with local instructor Nick it was a blast exploring Katura Bay and doing some snorkeling too we even saw some fish in the reef after that was back to the shop for a shower an ocean view bath some refreshments and a chill session with uchan the resident tortoise many guests off for the garden barbecue plan but Malibu also offers to introduce you to their favorite local restaurants like my girl which has tons of old Malibu Point photos then for dinner they helped me score some fresh sashini we made one last visit to the shop to check out the western style room which is next to the Japanese style room I stayed in at last it was time to go back to the train station Jr cuta station is just 90 minutes from Tokyo Station
