hi guys it’s sh Japanese local tour guide today I’m going to show you Kamakura which is only 1 hour away from Tokyo by train [Music] so Kamakura used to be political about so there there are a lot of shrines and temples also a lot of natures if you’re coming to Japan and don’t have time to go to kotto you can just come here Kamakura just only one hour away from Tokyo just a day trip the best place to day trip and I also like a people who don’t have any plan of more like spontaneous you should definitely come here stay tuned for more deep side of a local Kamakura let’s go so first place I will show you guys is a Sasuke inited Shrine which is top of a shrine and way you can see a laboratory gate like Fushimi in Shrine in Kyoto is the most popular most popular Shrine for a lot of T but here in Kamakura there is a similar one and less people not to at all so you can take great photo out there there so before you get in the shrine you have to take a bow show the respect to the you culture Shrine and [Music] God a lot of people going total for this alate but only just one hour of a here you can see this [Music] right and also you when you get out the shrine you also have to take a bow to show the and do you know guys any differences between Shrine and Temple that one I just went to was the shrining it’s for shinton ISM which is Japanese indigenous region and Temple is for Buddhism it’s different region I mean the reason why like those kind of two region have coexist is thanks to the Shintoism and shinton concept okay so Shinto believes there are over 8 million Scot here in Japan Shinto believes every little thing has got spirit so we believe in a water trees and the Rock it’s more like a nature warship so uh each Shrine has different God the one I went to has good business luck and good relationship so if you want to success in business and also if you want to you know get some girlfriend or boyfriend or future wife or something you have to go there and uh pray for the god next place I’m going to take you guys is B where you supposed to wash the coin with a purified water and you get a good money luck let’s go [Music] so after I wash the coin you can keep it this one in your wallet or something but uh usually you’re supposed to use this one for the making of wish over there so when the paper is immersed in the dragon water the letter will appear so let’s like this is only in Japanese so you’re maybe you should have hired the guide to understand what he says or something and if you get the bat lock you don’t want to bring that bat lock with you you can tie your fortune paper on this line next place I’m going to go to see the great Buddha statue H and in Kamakura there is a local train called enoden so you can take the train to go um but if you like to walk and a feel more nature I recommend you to take a hiking course like a hiking trail it’s not that hard it’s more like 20 30 minutes walk it’s really good exercise so if you like walking like hiking and also F of nature you should definitely hit the hike [Music] [Applause] Trail in the hiking trail if there is a two-way to go you got to check the the sign is over here it’s also in English too so we are going to go the dutu The Great bu statue so we go that way that way not this way no no no not this way this way [Music] when it’s rain I’m not recommending you to come here cuz uh you know the trail getting so sleepily and it’s hard to walk and a bit dangerous so you can come here when it’s rainy day or the rainy day before something not good in Kamakura some players accept the credit card but definitely you have to bring the cash around some Temple and theur needs entrance fee and some are only cash and some restaurant they don’t accept any cars so it’s better bring the cash around so this is the end of the hike Trail it takes a 20 minutes was good walking not hard more like exercise and from hiking trail to the Buddha sat is only 2 3 minutes away so it’s very close [Music] so this stpes right here Kamakura graa statue this D statue is really unique because like this one used to be covered by Gold Leaf you go uh you get closer and you will see the right cheek and you’ll still see a little bit Gold Leaf on his right cheek and also unique thing about this Buddha statue is you can actually go inside of the Buddha statue so let’s go and also the reason why why he’s sitting open the air is he used to be housed like you know he used to be in the temple but long time ago there was big earthquake and a tsunami came and tsunami washed off the temple itself so that’s why he sitting open air still and it’s only 5 minutes of it from here to to get to the beach so later I’m going to take you guys there but first I’m going to go one more Temple I mean one of the most famous temple in Kamakura let’s go temple in this H Temple there is many things to see and inside of this Temple there is Golden Buddha statue but I’m not allowed to take a picture on any videos so I cannot show you guys but here and you will see great views from the deck and you can see a lot Japanese houses and also ocean you can see ocean up there and also here in this Temple there is there are three smiling little statue in three different location in this Temple if you find those little statues like every three like three statues you’ll get good luck when you come to here you try to find that one one more unique thing is in in this Temple there is a cave and in the cave there is a little statue like jizel statue which is super cool so I’m going to show you guys so let’s go [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] [Music] and in Kamakura actually like kamakula is located the beach area so you can go to beach actually from H Tempo to the beach it’s only 3 minutes away walk so when are you going [Music] even if you are not interested in any history or nature you should come to Kamakura in summer in summer there are many restaurants on the beach and where you can drink and eat and a mingle with local and also you can swim out here so yeah even even if you are not those kind of person you can just come to kakuru and enjoy I forgot to tell you guys but in Kamakura it’s famous for fireworks event it’s very big firework and it’s coming up I think it’s July 17 this year or something so if you’re interested you have to look up it’s huge and it’s an event everyone come down to Kamakura from even Tokyo or something but my hometown is around here so I can see from my [Music] home so now I’m back to the kakur station and I’m right next this is kamak station and I’m right next to the kamak station there is a street called kti Street where you can try uh tral Japanese snacks like sweet thing and even like a trendy snacks out here and also you can buy some souers in here so I will show you my uh some recommendation [Music] so this is the one of the most famous Ramen in Kamakura I mean even in Japan this this one called kagar it’s actually from Ginza and this one I got the mishan star uh like a few years ago maybe yeah and which is really good if you come to Kamakura I want to try some fresh seafood we called shirasu I look up in English and I it’s a white bite I don’t know if it’s true on not but like a white small fish that roll with rice and stuff which is really good so I want you to that I want you to try that one so this road called dangat you know Tre Bome season which is like March to April this road is so beautiful like full of CH brome and so a lot of people come in in here and take a picture I mean Kamakura even though like you can enter summer like a beach and AUM you can you can see AUM trees and leaves and uh winter yeah winter is cold but yeah still you can enjoy it in winter to visit um The Strand Temple cuz like a less people out here and yeah or spring like the triome season is so beautiful kamaka has a lot of stuff to see and do and then now I’m heading to the main Shrine called kimangu the a shrine of G of the big tree so let’s go [Music] This Is My Den and this used for like Japanese wedding like Shintoism wedding so uh sometimes if you’re lucky you can see the winning ceremony out here which is super beautiful the last place I want to show you guys is uh the C be bar so in Kamakura there is a brewery for beer and it which call like kakra beer and actually this bar this bar not only kakra beer but also a lot of type of Japanese crust beer you can try so I’m going to try shaan beer today shonan is this area name so you know local cross beer [Music] after walking around Kamakura it’s bit tired so why don’t you drink IPA come so good and this CB name is Neighbors so and it’s a just 1 minutes away from kakur station so if you get tired of like a walking and and thirsty you got to visit here and uh get a few drinks and I head back to the Tokyo maybe I got it here in Kamakura this morning like a 10:30 and I walking up night now it’s more like a 3 300 p.m. it’s I think yeah it’s more like 5 hours or something um if you want to see Sunset that you have to stay here until like 600 or something but if you want to avoid the Kow like the train you better leave kamak Runner 3 and after four or five it’s going to be like in a rush hour so so busy so I recommend you to leave ma around three if you want to avoid the crowd so thank you for watching to the end in Kamakura there are many things to do and see even if you’re not interested in any history you can enjoy here CU Kamakura has a lot of good seafood and drink and a beach especially in summer you can go there and swim and you can uh there a lot of the restaurant on the street so which is really good and people who like nature like walking around kamaka is the best place cuz like I showed you guys that there are hiking trail people who don’t have time to go to Koto those kind of historical tone Kamakura is the best place cuz it’s just only one hour best it’s a best place for day Tria from Tokyo and uh straight from shinuk and shuya and then people who are spontaneous like you know no plan um when I do the tours some customer don’t have any plan for next day and they ask me like hey what should I do and I goes I always goes like you know you got to come to Kamakura because you can avoid a crowd and a more like a chill like a layback so here’s heads up if you think thinking of coming to Kamakura I would not recommend you to come here um weekends weekend is so crowed cuz like I mentioned Kamakura is a uh best day trip uh location from Tokyo so we can a lot of tourist and also locals coming down here so I recommend you to come here like a weekdays um today is Tuesday Yeah Tuesday but still like a little bit people but you know compared to the weekends uh it’s it’s much less so and I would recommend hire the tour guide when you come to Kamakura when you go into the Historical Area I recommend you to hire tour guy cuz you can just go there and walking around by yourself but so there’s a lot of like a behind the scene like history of the area and Shrine and Temple so if you want to enjoy 100% the area I mean history cown especially Kamakura you should hire the tour guide of course we do have Kamakura tour
