well good morning ladies and gentlemen uh welcome back to another uh exploring local Tokyo uh today we’re in the K senju area which is the north kind of East area of Tokyo right above weno right above asakasa we’ve been here about 2 years ago um but I found something special ladies and gentlemen when you are exploring make sure that you explore both sides of the station I’ve only ever gone to the west side today we’re starting out on the east side and I found a showen guy which is actually pretty pretty cool so um yeah I thought that would be uh kind of interesting and bring out the replay here see if I can get the replay anyways and uh I do have the sun in my eyes so sorry about that but uh yeah good morning to Mike Hawk Ramsay silent Tyra uh hi Mom how are you um spider fresh we will east side never been here never seen this area at all and um kind of surprised that uh there was a lot to do so yeah let’s just get going right away and uh well look at that my first Super Chat of the in adachi city as you can see here K to sju uh we are I guess basically on here we’re going to be checking a little bit about here moving in and around here and then checking out a shrine that I’m something to show you I just found a store with a crazy ass name on it and I thought that was kind of uh interesting make sure you smash that like button oh I got to smash my own like button hold on I am Lake number 23 yay for me this is an actual High School the adachi educational institute probably a high school of some sort kind of weird how they have it just set back off the street that’s what Japan is all about build wherever you can oh our first Emoji Club of the day ladies and gentlemen we found the macas the McDonald’s the Roni Rons the Mickey D’s we need a vending machine of course I do need coffee hey foresight how are you good morning hakaya now you must make it your mission to eat cheap in Tokyo and if you’re going to eat cheap in Tokyo you might as well come to hakaya it is my favorite uh cheap eats and uh you’re not going to go wrong really uh you’re not going to get Gourmet Michelin star stuff but you sure as hell are going to get food like like look at that katayaki soba usually I get the devil guza set they don’t have it on display here lots of different Ramen absolutely amazing definitely definitely cheap Heats cheap Heats nice little isaka and pubs along the way here of course you’re going to have your family Mar as we walk around I haven’t seen a vending machine or my blind don’t answer that cobat vending machine no vending machine okay I’m going to turn around in a minute here it looks like it’s starting to thin out here more local again uh stores it seems you got your rental agencies for the neighborhood you got your hair cutting places you got your convenes of course oh look at this we just found a capsule thing creepy babies or something right up there I’m not getting any capsule stuff though but yeah the addiction is real ladies and gentlemen I don’t get the idea but I I understand if you want to collect little figurines or little whatever you call them yeah why not right but to me I’d rather collect Royal Dalton dolls okay that’s what my grandmother did but anyways it’s really weird when you want a vending machine you can never find one this is coffee con I you know I never thought about toast like uh cheese toast cheese bread Japan really does like having their uh things going on 20 I’m going to go to the next vending machine I like the plastic bottles yeah thank you all for being here hey Adam how are you eight weeks baby eight weeks I I I I even have my money ready I still can’t find a vending machine that has my coffee where is a vending machine when you need one well I guess we’ll uh keep exploring yeah I don’t see nothing either you’re using Google streets oh well Tak in the Morning View yeah so it looks like uh on the east side here it’s just just um the Shon guy just finishes up just up over there uh it’s about I know you can see the building of ke sju way at the end there so probably a 10-minute walk you know leisurely 15 20 minutes if you’re doing shopping you know so on and so forth oh good morning oh my I didn’t even realize it’s a sandwich shop ladies and gentlemen cuz I’m blind well thank you atie Moa when I see bread like that remember yesterday I was talking about the $10 loaf of bread yeah but got to keep the carbs down keep the carbs down come on vending machine where are you oh well so yeah this is a little showon guy I’ve never actually know I didn’t think anything was on the other side of K to sju because the west side is so you know delightful and busy you know we hit a a coffee uh Place couple years ago as we always seem to find coffee places but I should just go in there and get a coffee but I won’t all right hi Mouse how are you yeah that’s really weird you know you don’t you have like a a showen guy here here and I guess if you support local like coffee houses and things like that but everybody needs a vending machine that’s kind of cute the mural over there looks like mous is uh wishing us all well thank you for that yeah that’s weird anyways yeah hit aaya just look for the the restaurant with the white with the circle and uh you can enjoy some you know decently priced cheap food don’t expect the best like I said or you can go to McDonald’s you know who would go to McDonald’s when they visit Japan oh wait I have no I don’t see anything all right well we’re going to head into into the uh station and uh the station’s actually pretty filled now a lot of stations around Japan as you know and probably seen and experienced if you’ve been here so many stores um lots of shopping done you know people are grabbing again last minute omag gifts uh food you know if they’re going to go on the train and of course this is a local station um it does house the uh Jr line jobon line I believe the Chota line on uh on the for yeah for the subway um it also houses the hiia line uh which would take you up into the satima area so there’s a few trains uh along the way here oh thank you ram appreciate that brother St being cheap and get a coffee from a shop well the reason I don’t do it is cuz I don’t want to put a camera in people’s faces that’s pretty much why okay where’d it go oh I passed it guys like seriously the name of this place Taco high this is what I saw earlier and I was like what on Earth it’s kind of weird to see a place called Taco High might be worth it though you never know hey guys that was just weird hair salon what do they got here steak place a, Yen for steak but it’s probably very small cuz then the bigger the steak the more expensive it’s going to cost you I don’t I don’t like those places I’d rather cook my own steak my favorite snack store across the way here and then we’re right back to uh the station here now I came out of here oh yeah this would be the underground pass over to the west side if uh you don’t feel like going upstairs but we’re going to go upstairs pretty big escalator that taco high or taco High exactly AR you hi acne how are you hi Lee sorry I didn’t see you there where are all those 100 cup coffees when you need one I know right cobat I could not believe when we were in yaka Ginza the guy wanted $100 for that cup of coffee insane I’m sorry but no coffee in the world is worth that all right so we’re coming into uh K senu we’re just going to walk over to the West Side uh this is the toou Sky Tree Line area got a nice little udon place here that would be uh a good thing to grab a quick snack of course like you can’t go wrong look at this look at that you got choa and different uh shrimp that would be good that would be good oh hell yeah love tempera quick and easy now you’ll notice here because we’re not in the Jr Park Kino Cana uh is one of the uh stores here and Family Mart they’re going to have when you hit the Jr area then it would be uh more news days so we are Crossing into the news days I mean into the Jr now and I can see the news day off to the left which is the Jr convenience store and you still have ticket Gates oh they got scuba Express here too I forgot about that imine a taco taco stand that’d be kind of funny then they have the department stores Lumin very popular with a lot of stations and you you could spend again shopping we know how old the ladies are or some of the men you probably spend a lot of time in Lumin it’s a a good department store and they also have a lot of independent stores [Music] inside and now we’re coming out to the West uh area here at least I think so I’m probably lost inside the station already TB good morning Drew I hope you’re feeling better bro I am thank you TB and uh thank you for joining our community um and uh for the well wishes thank you so yeah when you come out of uh out of the area it opens up onto the second floor prominade or whatever you want to call it um so again I’m I’m leaving the kind of like Lumin building and then you got the uh the marui or the ooi uh building over there great great places we’ll explore in the back streets in a minute I can see the Hub sign [Music] already what a beautiful day ladies and gentlemen an absolute cracker of a day hey Jim and Harriet how are you oh and yesterday I got demonetized due to the music so I ended up cutting it out out I can see this screen hear this screen playing music already God damn it one thing about filming in Japan live streaming you got to be careful because they play video boards and music and you know everything else so that’s okay so today we’re going to start off on the North side over here uh there’s another little Street um going up that way and then we’ll finish up in all these amazing back streets over here that we’ve explored uh many a Time many a moon ago I guess you could say oh Grandma looks pretty hip yeah that is basically the Lumin I mean Lumin there the marui on the other side and then you can see so many signs with all the different businesses there’s the Hub you got gaku you got real estate places you got a Pachinko you got an isaka Doma up on the fifth floor and then it just opens up to so many amazing things yep I’m demonetized already ladies and gentlemen where’s the damn vending machine man first one I get doesn’t matter so yeah we’ll start off down this covered little uh shopping area here we’re going to come back the other way over there little local shoe stores 100 bucks for those my God half oh what’s this Dango and Moi Sweet Shop look at that my favorite right there my favorite maybe we’ll come back and get one later right now we’re looking for a vending machine ladies and gentlemen it is just weird it is so weird we cannot find a vending machine got 70 people in have a desk only vending machine oh they got donkey hot here the donkey hot is right over there so that’s pretty cool and yeah I wanted to walk down this street a little bit here at least I think it’s this street oh thank you jam Harriet for the vending machine fund wow got a 2 468 468 2 I remember last time I was here I missed a store down and uh hidden stores in the back Alleyways oh thanks cool Ry how are you brother have to go now so I’ll watch later get a drink on me well thank you appreciate that but you can see all all the way down hidden sometimes in places Lush coffee they have take out but the counter is all the way in the back I would love to go inside you know what I’m going to put the camera down guys and uh I’m going to get a coffee if that’s okay with you um I will kind of give you the view from the other way here Oops why did I do of the uh window and the girl making the coffee I’ll be back there you go Ram I’m going in iced coffee El size it it oh it’s nice and air conditioned in here wow it’s a very nice looking um place inside here uh wooden tables wooden chairs with uh rot iron uh very very very comfortable they actually have a coffee rooster I think it’s on display only maybe well maybe not not sure hey I got those all right coming back out guys all right so here it is so this is the coffee I got a nice coffee today and this is I hand drip coffee see you get that gritty kind of T oh there’s a freaking vending machine right there so even though the coffee has a a probably obviously a better flavor hey Jason M how are you sometimes drinking can leave like super bitter I like super bitter but um yeah I’m not really into the Ethiopian coffees or that Singapore cat poop coffee you know or whatever right for me vending machine coffee is where it’s at um and uh well you know what spider fresh I’m still going to that vending machine to get a coffee because I need to dry my mouth out so you know what this is going to be weird I’m sitting in a coffee shop and I’m going to the vending machine to get a coffee I cannot let spider fresh down so here you go spider fresh and Ramsay silent and Jason m you know h no stay with the block there we go we got support themselves very much oh oh my God oh my God look at that bike look at that bike guys that is so awesome well if it was 45 years ago for me haircut 55 bucks perm yada yada yada like where the hell is he going some somebody’s house all the way in the back whoa he’s walking to somebody’s front door G no thank you love Den banana seats oh 24-hour fitness and yeah if you want to join a gym and you have tattoos you’ll get turned away a lot um the gym that I did Anytime Fitness of course is worldwide and uh they just said cover it up as best as possible shouldn’t be a problem so never was a problem well this Margarita house there a pizza place here look at that yum that’s pretty sweet lots of hair cutting places obviously I don’t need it yeah ke s you might be a I don’t know what would bring you here because I’m sure there’s lots of different shops you know other places that’s black building um so yeah it’s just local you know everyday life uh here in Tokyo I would imagine now this goes down pretty far I’m going to swing into the alleyway whoa damn see you never know what happens this looks like the uh the snack bars of K senju oh my God I’m so lucky whenever I turn to bring you guys some good good areas 55 likes awesome guys thank you ah I’m done the coffee almost I’m not sure you know what oh they’re not they’re snack bars but they’re like mini restaurants I see a wine bar here that’s open little Yaky uh or whatever you call that I for the barbecue creepiness creepiness inside the windows that is creepy thank you Mom appreciate it wow that these look old these look very old that’s a bunny that’s a bunny yeah these are more snack bar style places definitely oh they have a sign actually says welcome to minichi street so hm interesting I don’t think I’ve ever maybe I’ve been here before I’m not sure mon star’s table so it’s a mixture of um the dog is scaring me um of little restaurants obviously people live upstairs so that’s not bad and then yeah this is kind of like the map area so they got 1 2 3 4 five six 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 20 little bars and restaurant places here that’s pretty cool and it kind of comes down here a little bit but not much nice little we are checking out the local ke senju area room spot that would the green and pink here that would be a real estate company let’s take a look here so you can actually get a good look at some of these things like this one here $650 month for a looks like a one or two yeah it’s a 2dk so two rooms with a dining room kitchen kind of style thing not bad for the area it’s not that bad you can see I used to love looking at floor plans but it’s flashing it’s kind of irritating exchange rate is open this is dauya I believe or maybe not not I wonder what the exchange rate is I need to get some American money or I mean uh Canadian money all I see along here the last five shops have all been real estate companies this is typical in Japan you’re going to have your entrance a dining room kitchen kind of area in one room so this would be um a 1dk but again you come over here here you got a living room with a bedroom or two rooms anyways you know it’s 1100 a month so it all depends on how close you are to the station how big your apartment is and how old those three come into a factor when they decide the price you know so on and so forth well let’s see a sign here American Burger Sunny Diner oh we got to go Che check that out we might have found a Hidden Gem ladies and gentlemen we may have found a Hidden Gem hey John how are you I have some Canadian money I bet you do Auntie Mumble a cute little Bridal Shop cute little girl inside I like that so I’m trying to find I see this local Ramen Shop here but I think this is is this the burger shop I don’t think it’s that b is that place there it’s not this place huh oh maybe it’s up here this is a local Ramen Shop and everybody’s already lined up it’s at 100 m so I thought I went 100 m already where is it was it that place back there oh wait I think I see it up here let’s go check it out this might be a Hidden Gem ladies and gentlemen how close is it to station is a big price Factor yes absolutely man you know it brother yeah this is it up here in the corner here see you never know what you’re going to find ladies and gentlemen unless you explore walk around like I do not sure what these two um oh it’s a nail salon here tenen works not sure but this here is sunny Diner here so again they have uh that is pretty cool they even got Locomo let me just walk around the whole place here see if is it just oh they do have a bit of a lineup here it looks like you can oh they got Smash Burgers they have all kinds of uh different things here so you can see this little Hidden Gem I would love to see the menu but uh I can’t so just going to move the camera out of the way for one sec see all right I can show you the look at the menu amazing look got Smash Burgers wow look at that that is pretty cool like a Smash Burger I haven’t seen a Smash Burger in Japan in a long time so this might actually be a great place oh they’re going to go inside so I’m going to show you the Smash Burger that they have here too let me uh show you this here how long have you been here how long don’t cor I oh no the the sunny Diner like Jun going in 15 years 15 years yeah Wow first time I I found this place so look at the Smashburger I’ve never heard of anybody in Tokyo Smashburger so you’re the first I think so that’s cool sorry IMA YouTube live so but yeah look at this there is some seats if you like to come to inside there’s some but camera so camer did I will ask him from the but maybe maybe another day another day thank you very much this is cool I have many YouTuber friends that might want to experience this so maybe it’s okay to inside the oh yeah is okay next time I come I’ll I’ll I’ll ask the owner he in theop yeah but I’m I can’t today though but thank you thank you they even have their own little dely things this that would be I think a really good place to come and eat my God like getting burgers and uh checking out this little Hidden Gem I think would be really good I think I’m thinking about bringing shinichi here I think we have to do that having a sunny Diner not bad I you extra W time to live in uima few stops on the hiia line see i’ never known that this is a chain or uh a single thing or you know whatever um obviously I have no I’m going to have to Google it later on now but damn those burgers are freaking amazing I’ve done a lot of burger places in my life here in Tokyo from that big parmesan cheese one to Firehouse over by Tokyo Dome to all kinds of different burger places but that right there I hold your ears ladies and gentlemen that reminded me of In-N-Out burger just saying damn that was awesome is there an election happening in Tokyo soon I think so coming up Leone I don’t pay attention to it I don’t uh delve into uh politics of course let me see if I can put my garbage in my bag here as I walk back come on oh I got two coffees damn have to find a garbage but yeah that burger place I got to remember that key to send you I got to talk my wife actually wait I see critical East the kwave and it’s horrible absolutely horrible ladies and gentlemen I made a video about it with Christmas 365 and we tried it the aftertaste tastes like banana milk so you drink Cola but then all of a sudden you get this banana milk kind of tasting flavor it threw me off it was horrible if you try it here in Japan no or if you want me to send you one let me know oh wait I have an idea I have an is a Ramen Shop got lineups in you can see the line up here and then the line up here they don’t stand in front of the person’s house very respectful like that edamame cake and ice cream weird something Tokyo so again we’ve hit another local uh little area here which is kind of interesting it’s going to have local shops local restaurants but it’s also going to have you know yo I can see and I’m sure there’s conven Veni stores along the way little apron shop only ,650 put it on get in the kitchen [Music] beep very nice along here as soon as I try the spicy cook we’ll let you know if it’s good okay tetum of course you’re GNA have your Kebab shops this looks like a little Korean place here just you if I never saw the uh the KAG or the fried chicken I would never have noticed it Massi there’s a m Hawk massagi M Hawk needs a massage don’t say that fast I’ve never been down this street and I’ve been to KY toan you a few times go the doctor stretch these guys hurt they absolutely hurt lots of Yaki niku places along the way here this is a quaint little store I think you know if you knew of a few shops along the way here this might be a a great little area to visit I see a shrine down here so I got to go go check it out go off the beaten path here I saw this Spanish restaurant here some nice hidden gems along the way I like the look of that inside already people are enjoying their uh kind of early lunch but I see something down here NOA my workplace was near here k s you awesome do you like PSI lime spider fresh Tokyo drew the princess will be making an appearance at your little she dig in Vegas and we’ll have babysitter with her you’ll never guess who I wanted Jason to come alone okay wait I can still take Jason out cuz and then we’ll just leave you in the hotel oh we’ll take princess too well that’ll be awesome if you’re wondering who I’m bugging uh ladies and gentlemen uh let everybody know in the chat tauny Beth your relationship to Mr Jason M the doors are of olive oil and then I doused it in garlic powder and then added some meat sauce to mix it up with and uh he is like you cuz she couldn’t eat garlic and she loves garlic I am evil in my own little ways ladies and gentlemen there’s a pool yes that is true well it’ll be nice because you guys will be staying in the same hotel as me so uh you guys can just obviously come up to my room or down I don’t know what floor you’ll be on but I’ll be on the 56th floor or somewhere around there where I usually stay okay so it looks like oh the old Watts 100 yen store how many likes do we got at 1 hour ladies and gentlemen let me know in the chat now this does go all the way down I remember walking back uh the opposite way so I want to hit some of the uh back streets more closer to um the station area which is I would believe back this way look at this Dragon Gate did she okay she moved her bicycle wasn’t sure it is so hot ladies and gentlemen I need to find a ledge I need a ledge I need to going to see a lot of great uh businesses back here men’s salons restaurants unique buildings I don’t know how old that is but it does look kind of cool sha sh la la la there’s a song something like that but yeah you can see all the way up got like a little uh kind of store here I’m not sure what that is it’s a restaurant but love walking in the back streets ladies and gentlemen Wasabi reminds me of that American Super Bowl commercial okay 11:30 to 10 to 5 happy hour 230 Yen that’s a deal right there and it’s packed inside I didn’t expect to hear people snack Pub Andy it’s a snack Pub Andy right here whoa you can see look at that two restaurants lineups all these uh back streets damn I’m going to go the other way though claustrophobic in the Alleyways of Tokyo oh nice little bar area kind of set up there 76 likes awesome your streets are like Europe super narrow and no sidewalks well number one they’re not my streets but uh in Japan you do get that of course you do have sidewalks also depending on what part of the city you’re in nice little uh restaurant here look at all the graffiti everybody posting their posters this is what I like about uh certain areas in Japan and then we’re coming out the station will be kind of back up that way that means we’re going to go this way this is what I like about local areas um walking around seeing all the different Shops look at this barber shop that’s quite famous actually I see a lot of pictures outside I don’t uh is that shinichi no okay never mind you can see I guess uh trying to show all the different hairstyles haircuts H not sure not sure at all not sure these are coffee places oh I smell Curry oh my God I smell Curry ladies and gentlemen I’m hungry even in the mix you have all the different uh Grill bars mixed with restaurants mixed with massage places cuz who doesn’t want to [Music] massage a lot of these places are open for lunch which is good you can see even in all in the back here establishments going along cool cool cool hey s Sancho oh well that’s a good reason not sure look at they taking old beer kegs and fitted them with uh little seats now it’s a good recycle place to uh check that out huh I’ve seen three barber shops in like 10 stores this is kind of unique I like this you know some um of the establishments along here are popular but it doesn’t it still looks local not local local I haven’t found the we will find oh see this is always interesting now they always like no smoking but heated tobacco products like the iOS and all that only they should just cut it out now this here is one of the entrances to K sju station which is part of the Chota line the hiia line the Jr joob Bond line and basically as you walk in through here you will be walking in the underground literally 800 M to get to uh the station itself now I see vending machines everywhere hey Malcolm how are you huh all right so it looks like it ends this way so we’ll have to head back I thought there was more to uh the street area here I’m kind of perplexed about all the real estate uh agencies uh here in kenu oh my God this wig no I’m not going to wear it $1,944 seriously what is it like real freaking hair I do know that they do make wigs uh I know homi when she cut her hair about 3 or four years ago um she she basically took off like 2 feet of hair and don’t ated it so that’s that’s pretty cool I I don’t know how that works um no I don’t need a wig before some smartass says it in the comments that’s pretty cool Randolf friend how are you let’s get to 100 likes guys smash that like button help support see this is uh the opposite end and Mark stand interesting oh could you imagine eating a shrimp that big that’ be pretty cool wow Le that’s pretty mean you know I have stage four lung cancer losing all the hair and you say I need eyebrows oh that is like how could you do that to me I can’t keep a straight face I tried uh no I don’t need that umbrella hat that umbrella hat got broken all right so I guess we’re going to uh head back up this way I’m getting hungry now maybe I have to have the bom me for a late afternoon snack once we get closer to the station though uh there are a lot of other choices but all these are individual little uh restaurants and bars establishments love seeing these uh back streets sju Buu not sure what that is but again at night dark all these are lit up that’d be pretty cool to see absolutely smoke okay there no thank you go left it take us to a love Hotel hidden in the back there oh this looks pretty interesting yba not sure and right on their front door they have The Wanted poster actually they found these two people a few months ago have you seen any of these people ladies and gentlemen that kind of makes me want to go drink there in my opinion it does again more back side street [Music] areas pretty cool [Music] I don’t see any KAG yet we are almost back to the uh station but we can hit other side streets around the area so we’re not done yet live in LA V local even right close to the uh station you’ll still have your Girls Club another h aaya so hakaya very popular of course this is my favorite um asakusa tendon um temper shop and yeah you do have the McDonald’s right at the end here and then back into uh the station area they got nandai Fuji SOA another cheap place here’s the uh Lottery Booth we’re going to hit that in a minute we’ll kind of come around the corner here just to show you the uh the main area here of K senu when you first uh get out of the station L of fresh fruit I don’t eat enough fruit never have but if I find good grapes like those are $30 for a bunch of grapes up there those are must shiny Muscat I think even 190n for these um kind of ripened avocados is too expensive for me yeah this would be uh again more of the covered uh shopping area that we uh kind of bypassed got Denny’s here ikinari steak and like I always say I still miss the American Denny’s I’m going to show you the menu of Denny’s see if you guys like anything here doesn’t have much here but uh it’s their special I guess passas for lunch and soups and or whatever kind of interesting dessert that’s a lot of sugar and fruit yeah I just got to figure out which fruit I can do and we came down those escalators right over there and then you got buddy up in the corner that’s awesome it’s kind of cool all right we are going to head uh right over to the lottery booth just to check we’re not going to pick tickets cuz it is Saturday um but you know what I need to win money I’m a broke ass let’s go check maybe we have a winner you never know haven’t had a winter in a while avocado taco cheese are delicious what huh it was just open a minute ago I swear to God it was open and now it’s closed am I it was literally open a second ago okay I guess not we’ll have to check again and here is the Hub so if you do want to frequent The Hub if you are in the key to send you again most hubs are always in the basement right now uh well yesterday or two days ago they showed the Japan Myanmar soccer and then on uh 611 they show they’re going to be showing the Japan Syria game I remember sitting here with Paul that one time you know that one time at band camp it’s your lucky day I’m not being that mean no thank you see it doesn’t look like uh too much is going on here so yeah that is the East Side the west side of uh I was going to use that ledge but that guy’s standing there now the local K Sanju area he’s using his uh laptop there so yeah in uh in uh trying to keep everything as uh short as possible here I hope you guys uh
