I walked the streets of Tokyo during Golden Week. There were not that many people. It was about the same as a normal Sunday.
The area in front of the station, which is opposite to the Yanaka area, has a chaotic atmosphere. There are many restaurants and bars, and girls touting for girls are standing around.
