【旅行vlog】有田陶器市2024|器とポピーと夕暮れ|Arita Ceramic Fair 2024 and Beautiful scenery of Nagasaki.

On May 3rd, I came to Arita Ceramics Fair. Arrived at 9am. Park at Arita Sera, which is a little far from the venue. Arita Sera is about 5 minutes by car from Arita Station. This is a shopping resort where Arita ware specialty stores gather. During the fair, there are many bargain items at the Arita Sera shop. A free shuttle bus run from Aritasera to the Ceramics Fair venue. It was empty since it was early in the morning. First, we will go around Arita Sera and head to the pottery ceramics fair venue. Ceramic lampshade. This is also Arita ware. It seems that craftsmen manually cut out each piece in the shape of a pattern. All the shops are full of wonderful pieces, and time passes quickly. I take a shuttle bus to the fair venue. I am very grateful that I can come and go for free. It was about 11am at this point. As expected, the venue was crowded. However, it is a pedestrian paradise and the roads are wide, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. The area is lined with shops from Arita Station to Kami-Arita Station. There are many food stalls set up like a festival, and it’s fun just to look at them. It’s a sunny day. I forgot my hat, so the sun was hot… The temperature was high, and there were announcements warning me to avoid heat stroke. Time passed in the blink of an eye and it was 3pm. Return to Arita Sera by bus. I will introduce the purchased items. A bright red porcelain spoon. In addition to red, there were many other colors such as white, black, and yellow. The surface is smooth and feels good to the touch, making it easy to use. The back side is processed so that it can be placed casually on a table. A cherry-colored mug. The color looks washed out in the video, but it’s actually a much more beautiful pink. I bought it at a store named AGITO. This is a work by Yui Imahayashi. I wanted to practice latte art and was looking for a cup that was just the right size. I would like to use it carefully. It’s a small plate. I bought this because I was attracted to the gold edging and deep purple color. There were pink and light blue in different colors, but when I returned after looking at another store, they were already sold it.😨 This is 400 yen at the wagon sale. Great value! A rice bowl purchased from Marushige Pottery in Aritasera. I previously bought the same one from Marushige Pottery and have been using it ever since. I accidentally chipped it, but I liked it so much that I bought it again. It feels much more sophisticated than the one I bought a few years ago. I’m wondering if I can do kintsugi for those who have chipped it… This is a pottery I bought from Yamato Ceramics in Aritasera. I thought it was just a black bowl, but when I picked it up, it turned out to be a very elegant piece. Ridge lines are drawn on the side of the vessel, resembling an ink painting. There was also a smaller size. The price is only 1,000 yen! I bought it without hesitation. At the pottery market, not only pottery but also a variety of other items were sold. I bought this wooden spoon for outdoor use because I thought it had a thin tip and seemed easy to use. A clay pot I also purchased for outdoor use. I can cook just one cup of rice. Perfect for solo camping. It’s a little sooty after using it. I love the way it turns black… I plan to use it a lot from now on. Apple, Shiba Inu, and me. I bought the apple paperweight at a general store named Bowl. This is a nice shop located 5 minutes walk from Arita Station. This adorable dog was purchased from Arita Sera’s Yamato Ceramics. I was struck by the round eyes. We spent the night in the car at the roadside station Nagasaki Kaido Suzuta Pass, and headed to Shimabara the next morning. The Shimabara Peninsula is a place that I would like to explore in detail, but this time I will just stop by for a short while. I’m a big foodie, so when I plan a trip, I always start by choosing a restaurant for lunch. I really wanted to eat galette…! The seasonal galette and dessert crepe were both very delicious 🍴 On the way, we will drive from Isahaya to Saikai, stopping at the sea. I came here to buy souvenirs. Let’s take a break after drinking some coffee… The aroma of tea in a cookie tin will enchant you. I ate a little at home while looking back on my memories of the trip.

This is a travel vlog from Arita City, Saga Prefecture, to Sasebo, Shimabara, Isahaya, and Saikai in Nagasaki Prefecture. Although I haven’t visited many major sightseeing spots, I would be happy if you could feel that a trip like this is worth it.

I look forward to your reaction🥰
