This video is themed around ‘The Michinoku Coastal Trail: A One-Day Adventure for Runners.’ The Michinoku Coastal Trail is a long-distance trail spanning approximately 1,000 kilometers along the Pacific coast from Hachinohe City in Aomori Prefecture to Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture. While the official website introduces model courses, they often rely on less convenient public transportation options, making them somewhat challenging to follow. Therefore, I’ll introduce a circular route based on car travel. The first installment features a loop course starting and ending at Mizumi Park in Ryoishi-cho, Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture. The distance is approximately 23 kilometers, with intense elevation changes that provide an exhilarating running experience. Be sure to explore this trail!
