Hello YouTube. I’ve been keeping you updated on the Golden Week crowds in Tokyo, but today I’d like to shift the focus to Kawasaki, right next to Tokyo. Like Tokyo, Kawasaki is also bustling with holiday events. Given the presence of a sizable Okinawan community here, Kawasaki is hosting an Okinawa Festival. Okinawan culture is quite distinct from mainland Japanese culture and it’s a lot of fun , so I’m thinking of visiting again tomorrow, not to film a video this time but to simply enjoy the festival.
