Let’s stroll through Nakamachi in Kiryu City, lined with snack bars and izakayas. Kiryu City in Gunma Prefecture was once thriving for its silk textile industry, but since the mid-Showa period, silk production has declined, and now it has become a major hub for the machinery and metal industries. It’s a cityscape with a rugged and rich flavor, isn’t it? An alleyway that piques your interest. You can feel the history with the National logo. The font of Nakamachi Playbill is charming. It’s a splendidly built inn.

群馬県桐生市はかつて絹織物産業で栄えた街で、昭和中期以降は絹織物産業は下火になり、現在は、機械金属産業とあわせて二大基幹産業となっています。
昔ながらの居酒屋やバーが軒を連ねるこのエリアは、地元の人々に愛され続けています。
