⁴ᴷ Kyoto: Inari Station (京都府: 稲荷駅) – Japan Walking Tour (April, 2024)
In April, we will be moving from Kansai to Hokuriku while taking pictures. After Osaka, we went to Kyoto.
Fushimi Inari Taisha was formerly known simply as Inari Shrine, and the name of the station is simply Inari Station. The name was changed to Fushimi Inari Taisha to distinguish it from other Inari shrines. The red torii gate looks so beautiful in the world that it seems as if more than 90% of the people who visit the shrine are foreign tourists. I climbed to the top of Mt. Inari and found people sitting here and there, a true over-tourism scene.
