Fukue, Goto, Nagasaki (長崎県五島福江島) – Kankoro Mochi (かんころ餅) at Cafe Goto (カフェ ごと) 2024 Apr. 01
We consumed Kankoro Mochi (かんころ餅) for a second time during our visit to the Goto Islands of Nagasaki, this time at Cafe Goto (おみやげ&カフェ ごと). Kankoro Mochi is a “Wagashi” treat – it’s a type of mochi typically mixed with parboiled sweet potato. They served three varieties here – Purple Potato, Sweet Potato and Yomogi (蓬 – Japanese Mugwort). In addition, we had Sweet Potato Cheesecake to go along with it.
