Find Your Japan Sapporo 1 Day Sightseeing Sapporo Station, JR Tower Observation Deck, Clock Tower, TV Tower, Nijo Market, Raccoon Alley, Susukino, Norbesa Seicomart, the old red brick main office building, etc.
Sapporo, Hokkaido, which I visited for the first time on my SFC training. Sightseeing is one of the things I look forward to during my training. A full day’s bullet tour of Sapporo Station, Susukino, etc. The seafood in Hokkaido is delicious, so I’m alone, but I’m also really looking forward to the food.
Sapporo, Hokkaido First time in Hokkaido! I’m so excited. Yay, yay! Since we are traveling on a bullet train this time, where should we go? From Sapporo Station, go to Tower Three Eight in the JR Tower Observation Deck! First, we will attack JR Sapporo Station, Daimaru Sapporo Store, and JR Tower.
Sapporo Station is crowded with some trains out of service. Climb up to JR Tower Observation Deck T38, which is directly connected to Sapporo Station and offers a panoramic view of Sapporo City. Wow, it is a nice view. This is a great deal for 740 yen for adults.
The tallest building in Hokkaido! Not the tallest building in Hokkaido, but the tallest high-rise apartment building in Hokkaido. Too bad. I guess this one faces west. It seems to be looking toward Okurayama. This one faces south. It is toward Susukino, which everyone loves. LOL! This one faces east toward Atsubetsu and Shiroishi.
I got a bird’s eye view of Sapporo, and I recommend the night view of T38 and the restrooms. What is this? I saw it for the first time! As expected of Sapporo, the largest city in Hokkaido, it is very urban. Can we have a sea urchin bowl like this today? Gobble.
At the end of the straight tree-lined avenue, which is typical of Hokkaido, is probably the former Hokkaido Government Office Building. The Sapporo Clock Tower is located in the center of Sapporo, and the Sapporo TV Tower is just nearby. Oh~~ this is the Sapporo Clock Tower often seen on TV!
I was curious to see what it was like inside, but since the admission fee was 200 yen, I only saw it from the outside. Oh, this is also the building of the famous Hokkaido Shimbun, isn’t it? This is the Sapporo City Hall.
Oops! Here’s the Sapporo TV Tower again, as seen on Zoom in Morning. It is a TV tower that appears at snow festivals and other events. It looks like the TV tower in Nagoya. AURORA TOWN? The underground shopping center of Sapporo extends from this area.
The winters are cold, so underground would be more comfortable. Nijo Market is famous as the kitchen of Sapporo. Seafood is plentiful, but the prices are also reasonable! Across the street is Nijo Market, famous for its seafood.
I heard that it is good to come for breakfast, but I have the impression that it is deserted during the daytime. They all look delicious. I couldn’t take pictures of the seafood because there are many prohibited to take pictures. Tears.
The Sapporo Central Wholesale Market and Sapporo Outside Market Shopping Arcade are also located on the west side of Sapporo Station. I guess there are a lot of foreign tourists, but the price was a little out of my price range. Please like and subscribe to our channel!
We came to Raccoon Shoji shopping street, famous for its Suzuran lanterns, which have a history of about 150 years. Wow – two big bears, they look so real. Scary. I was aiming for a reasonably priced restaurant called Kaitenzushi Paisaru, but gave up because of the long line.
Is Susukino, the largest entertainment district in the north, a scary town? There are three major entertainment districts in Japan: Kabukicho in Shinjuku, Nakasu in Fukuoka, and Susukino in Sapporo. Cross the Susukino intersection with the NIKKA sign. This is the biggest entertainment district in the north.
What is it, this mine or this big marimo? Next to live octopus and squid, there was EL MANGO, the northernmost Latin bar. There was a guide to various dances and shows, but I had no time to spare this time. Tears It has become quite a retro drinking area.
I found a building called Usuino Market that is quite austere. This is amazing. Isn’t Susukino 0-ban a little too austere? I highly recommend this place. Amazing! This is the birthplace of Susukino~! Cheng Kisikian Daruma was the place to go for grilled mutton, and there were lines everywhere.
There is a pink Statue of Liberty…. There was a Latin American restaurant, BOOGALOO Boogaloo, but we gave up on it this time due to lack of time. Fruits are sold at the entrance of Kabukicho or as if you went to China.
It is an unusual mall with a rooftop Ferris wheel, but we will have northern delicacies here. Dinner : Kaiten Sushi Katsu Issen Minami 3-jo Store Finally, we will have our first seafood in Hokkaido, but first we will have beer! We will order mainly Hokkaido ingredients as soon as possible. Delicious ones.
We will have salted squid and expensive Hokkaido sea urchin for the reluctance. It is my personal favorite shime saba (mackerel) and shellfish from Hokkaido. Live octopus and salmon roe are also my favorite, delicious ones! I think they were red prawns, the delicious, briny kind.
I have had a hit with raw oysters, so I will have them in oyster gratin. We ended the meal with sockeye salmon, which is a typical Hokkaido dish. They were all delicious. Outside, the sun has completely set and the neon lights of Sapporo are beautiful.
Wow, that’s amazing! It is so cold outside that steam is coming out of the chimney in the basement. The Sapporo TV Tower is also illuminated and very beautiful. The Sapporo Clock Tower is also lit up and looks fantastic. On such nights, Hokkaido’s convenience store is Seicomart!
Seicomart has something unusual that you don’t usually see in convenience stores. Secoma Tokachi’s white bean ice cream bar made with silk tebo beans from Ikeda Town in Tokachi. Please try this rare item from Seicomart. It is delicious. This is another Belgian PALM beer sold at Senkomart. This beer is also full-bodied and fruity.
I’ve become a big fan of Hokkaido’s No. 1 convenience store, Seicomart, and breakfast… Good morning. It was only one day, but I am going back home after a round-trip sightseeing tour of Sapporo. I thought about what to have for breakfast, but I decided to go with Seicomart!
Hokkaido yogurt, onigiri muscles, scallops, and huge pumpkin rolls. It’s a Hokkaido-style menu even at a convenience store, isn’t it? LOL, it’s the famous bread at Seicomart! Before leaving Sapporo, we went to the red brick of the Hokkaido Old Main Government Building, which we wanted to see one last time before leaving Sapporo.
There was still snow in Sapporo city. A glimpse of the red brick government office building came into view. But…it looks kind of strange. We are here in front of the old main government building of Hokkaido. The road stretching straight in front of the government building gives a sense of Hokkaido.
The former main building of the Hokkaido Government Office is an important cultural property. Oh, no! I could see the cover under construction. Tears. Gabyan! The gas light here looks very old and historical. The snow was already crispy with icy chunks.
This is the current Hokkaido Government Office. You can see the return of the Northern Territories written on it. The Northern Territories issue between Japan and Russia was also written with great importance here. I delivered a one-day Sapporo bullet sightseeing tour to you.
